THAT GAME WAS BORING! I'LL HUNT YOU NOW!
~ Rashay's villanous breakdown and most famous quote.
Congratulations! You've just gained the right to witness a god's semi-perfect form! Bow down!
~ Rashay's last words before transforming into his final form.

Rashay is the overarching antagonist and final boss of Super Mario 64: Last Impact, a ROM Hack of the famous video game Super Mario 64.

He is a godlike and celestial moon spirit who harbors a malicious plan cause chaos and destruction by orchestrating the imminent collision of the moon with the planet, purely for his own amusement.

As the game progresses, he devises a cunning scheme to abduct Princess Peach, employing her as a bargaining tool to manipulate and coerce Mario into embarking on a perilous quest. The primary objective set forth by this malevolent spirit is for Mario to procure a staggering total of 80 Power Stars, coveted sources of immense energy, which the spirit plans to harness in order to transcend his already formidable power and ascend to an even greater level of dominance.

Appearance[]

Upon his initial arrival, Rashay presents himself as nothing more than a disembodied face and a solitary hand suspending in the air.

When Rashay transforms into his Moon Spirit form, he takes on the appearance of a spectral entity, bearing eerie similarities to Bowser. With his ghostly figure, razor-sharp teeth, intimidating eyes, shadowy claws, and a head adorned with menacing spikes, Rashay embodies a haunting presence that strikes fear into the hearts of those who witness his transformation.

When he reaches his ultimate transformation, he takes on the appearance of a dragon made entirely of bones, with eight menacing dark claws, a lengthy bony tail, and a distinct marking on his head that serves as his vulnerability. Remarkably similar to his previous manifestation as the Moon Spirit, he bears a striking resemblance to the notorious character Dry Bowser.

Personality[]

He possesses a twisted, ruthless, diabolical, sadistic, and misanthropic nature that is truly unparalleled. His cruelty knows no bounds, and he is cunning and deceitful in his actions, displaying a level of malice that is beyond comprehension. The reasons behind his relentless pursuit to annihilate the world remain shrouded in mystery, but it is possible that he derives sheer amusement from doing so. It is evident that he derives immense satisfaction from inflicting excruciating pain, as he derives immense pleasure from tormenting Mario during their ultimate showdown, and even goes to the extent of subjecting Peach to the horrifying spectacle of witnessing Mario's near-death experience.

In addition to his merciless nature, he exhibits no hesitation in obliterating entire planets, exemplified by his audacious endeavor to annihilate Earth, which he perceives as a mere trivial pursuit. Moreover, he indulges in various nefarious activities, including the abduction of Princess Peach and cunningly manipulating circumstances to falsely implicate Bowser for the rampant disorder in the kingdom. Furthermore, it is evident that he possesses an immense level of arrogance and narcissism. This is apparent in the way he carries himself, seemingly considering himself superior to mere mortals. This is exemplified by his derogatory reference to Peach as a mere "thing," a clear indication of his disdain for humanity. Additionally, Rashay's self-proclaimed title as a god further exemplifies his inflated sense of self-importance. Even though he admits to not being at his full potential during the final confrontation, he still maintains an unwavering belief that he is in a state where he can dismiss Mario without any serious consideration.

However, Rashay's excessive pride and arrogance ultimately lead to his own downfall, as he foolishly underestimates the unwavering determination of Mario. Despite the odds stacked against him, the valiant plumber defies all expectations and not only withstands Rashay's relentless attacks but also manages to gather and harness the extraordinary power of the stars he has diligently collected throughout his perilous journey. With this newfound strength, Mario successfully vanquishes Rashay, eliminating the imminent danger he poses and potentially ensuring a peaceful existence for all eternity.

Biography[]

Rashay, an inherently malevolent moon spirit, harbors an insidious intent to disrupt the delicate equilibrium of the celestial realm. With a sinister agenda in mind, he manipulates the moon's orbit, deliberately causing it to deviate from its harmonious path. Driven solely by his twisted amusement, Rashay revels in the imminent chaos and destruction that will soon befall humanity. As the moon commences its treacherous descent, a cascade of debris descends upon the earth's surface, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.

As the moon steadily moves closer and closer to their kingdom, Peach starts contemplating the possibility of harnessing the incredible power of the Stars to put an end to this impending catastrophe. Initially, Bowser was suspected to be the mastermind behind this perilous situation, but to everyone's surprise, Mario uncover the truth after successfully defeating the notorious Goomba Bros. As Mario continues on his journey, Peach shares with him a captivating tale of how the planet's vital energy is slowly being depleted. Just as Peach finishes her narration, a sudden and unexpected interruption occurs as an ominous figure named Rashay materializes out of nowhere. With a malicious grin, Rashay seizes Peach and cruelly refers to her as a mere "thing" that Mario no longer requires in his quest. This shocking turn of events leaves Mario stunned and determined to rescue his beloved princess from this vile and heartless captor.

After discovering the incredible power that the Power Stars provide to Mario, he issues a resolute demand for a staggering amount of 80 stars as a prerequisite for the safe return of Princess Peach. In an act of utmost defiance, he boldly proclaims that failure to fulfill this daunting requirement would result in the catastrophic demise of not just Mario, but also the entire planet that he calls home.

Powers and Abilities[]

The true extent of Rashay's power remains shrouded in mystery, as it is not fully comprehended or explored; however, there is no denying that he possesses extraordinary and formidable abilities. Rashay possesses the extraordinary ability to manipulate the moon's trajectory, causing it to deviate from its usual path, and also exhibits the remarkable capability of depleting the energy of an entire planet. After successfully capturing Peach, he astounds everyone by showcasing his ability to confine her within a cube that stretches vertically and suspends her in mid-air. This extraordinary feat not only highlights his immense power but also leaves onlookers in awe of his control over the situation.
