Theordore Ratling (Also known as the Rat Guy) is the secondary antagonist of Tales Of The Paper.
He is a failed movie star and super villain who worked with WALT 6000 in his attempt to revitilize his career along with potentially giving Rat Guy what he wanted all along. He has a grudge against every member of the Okhay Ville News Station, with SpeakerBox being his former idol and arch nemisis. He is also obsessed with Rats and wants them to take over the world as his side goal.
Since he originates from a written story, he has no canonical voice. But if he had one, he would be voiced by Jim Carrey
Biography[]
Early Life[]
When he was young, Theodore Ratling would idolize SpeakerBox and would be inspired to chase a dream of fame. However, he would be constantly rejected by various people. He would eventually find SpeakerBox and be interviewed for a job on the Okhay Ville News Station. However he was rejected harshly by SpeakerBox, Theo feel mocked. This would push him to his limits and cause him to go mentally insane and become obsessed with Rats. It is known he had a girlfriend at some point and went to college with a man named Gut Pinski, but it is unknown if he dropped out or not.
Meeting Walt Disney[]
Theodore would work at Disney World for a few years and eventually meet Walt Disney (Who had been converted into an AI named WALT 6000) and grow a close bond due to them both feeling underappreciated despite their talents. However, a massacre would occure that lead to WALT 6000's hard drive being lost and rendering him dormant.
Kidnapping Chloe and Charles[]
One day, Rat Guy would steal cheese from the Okhay Ville News Station. He would later kidnap Chloe and Charles as they tried to steal his cheese. Instead of killing them, he would kidnap them and rant about his plan and how no one appeciated Rats. He would get shot by Chloe due to him taking too long and would explain that the cheese he stole was in a fridge.
Recovering from his injuries and assisting WALT 6000[]
Rat Guy would recover but still need to wear a large bandage around the wound, he would become a member of the Disney GangLang. He would try and """bond""" with the News Crew so that he can appear less threatening. After WALT 6000 successfully made a deal with Victor to turn the News Crew into entertainers in the Inbetween. Rat Guy would pull out a bomb that would immediatly send Chloe and Charles to the Inbetween. He would also stay behind with SpeakerBox while Sarah Hatoff and Victor went to the location of WALT 6000. Rat Guy would explain how much SpeakerBox's rejection hurt him, making him go down this path. SpeakerBox would act like it was nothing, but Rat Guy made a deal with SpeakerBox: Become a guest on SpeakerBox's show and Chloe and Charles are freed. SpeakerBox would accept, but would make a mockery of him on the show. The humiliation would come to end eventually as WALT 6000 (Now in his Zombiefied Body) would appear on the show and send Rat Guy (Along with SpeakerBox and Sarah Hatoff) to the Inbetween.
"""Hosting""" Bonkers[]
Once all the News Crew (as well as some additional Victor's) would all enter the In Between, WALT would apoint Rat Guy to not only be the one who controls the skits, but also a cast member. Rat Guy would also make a show about the Victor Variants in order to save the ratings of the show. However, after WALT's presumed destruction, Rat Guy would go insane and start to hunt down the News Team. However, a Victor Variant would drop a nuke on the crew, presumably vaporizing Rat Guy. However, even after that, Rat Guy was still alive. It lead to a 1v1v1v1 where Rat Guy was shot in the same wound by Victor. It is unknown what happened to Rat Guy after the Gun Shot, but either he was sent to the hospital or sent to a jail.
Personality[]
The Rat Guy is shown to be mentally unstable. This is shown by the fact he constantly obsesses over Rats and how he believes they are underappeciated. He also seems to be very mean to most people, as he seems to have verbally abused his Girlfriend. He is also shown to be physically weak, as he was easily taken out by a gunshot.
