Raven Branwen is an antagonist in TheGamerLover's Mematic Universe's Spin-off series RU🅱️Y.
She is the biological mother of Yang Xiao Long and the ex-wife of Taiyang Xiao Long.
Story[]
Background[]
Both Raven Branwen and her twin brother, Qrow Branwen, were raised in the Branwen Tribe, a group of bandits based in Anima.
When the tribe decided they needed a force to counter the Huntsmen, the only real threat to their raids besides the Grimm, Raven and Qrow were sent to combat school when they were of age. The twins' skills and abilities garnered Ozpin's attention, and they were enrolled to Beacon Academy and placed on Team STRQ along with Summer Rose and Taiyang Xiao Long.
After their graduation, Raven was in a relationship with Taiyang and bore him a daughter: Yang Xiao Long. But she leaves him and her newborn baby abandoned in a similar fashion to a father/mother abandoning their kid(s) and leaving all the responsibility to the wife/husband. Qrow, however, was disagreed with Raven's decisions on becoming a terrible mother and took care of both Yang and Ruby.
Approximately seven years later, she met the previous Spring Maiden, who had abandoned her responsibilities, and accepted the maiden into the tribe. Despite giving her training in her abilities, Raven found the effort to do so unproductive and the Maiden too weak to take advantage of her powers, and subsequently killed her out of "mercy" and inheriting her Maiden powers as a result.
During the "Search of Summer" led by Yang, Raven, in her bird form, flies over her daughter's head and poops on it, causing Yang to throw a giant rock at her and causing Raven's anger, immediately she gets up and beats Yang off-screen before parting away.
Alliance with Selvaria Bles[]
Raven's criminal records deemed enough to call Selvaria's attention and enroll her to the Neo THOT Army, including the fact she gave a shit that Selvaria murdered her old friend Summer with some help of a Beowolf.
Junior's Club[]
Believing to be Raven with a fake moustache, Yang beats the shit out of a woman named "Gal Incognito", whose resemblance to Raven has proven to be very unfortunate. As of the real Raven, she was walking by and was astounded to see a woman who was her exact double, but was then quickly distracted by a dog with a puffy tail.
Mountain Glenn[]
Raven intervenes in the fight between Yang and Neopolitan and defeats the supreme being of evil, who flees shortly after.
Selvaria Strikes Back[]
That same night, she leaves a note on Team RWBY's dormitory, provoking Yang's anger. Later in the downtown, Raven engages in a fight with Yang, after the arrival of Ruby, Raven reveals to her daughter that she is now working with Selvaria against them.
After the defeat of Yang and Ruby and their capture, Raven asks Selvaria for the Wi-Fi since the Branwen Tribe doesn't have internet conection due to being located appart from civilization, only for Selvaria to erase her memories of her alliance and take her back to the Branwen Tribe with no memory of what happened.

Power and Abilities[]
Raven possesses great speed in combat, so much so that her attacks are difficult to follow with the naked eye. She shows proficiency in "Iaido", the art of swordsmanship also practiced by Adam Taurus, as seen when she first engages Neo. After her initial attack, she challenges Neo with a more traditional stance, indicating a more intricate fighting style.
She also has the ability to transform into a Raven.

- This version of Raven seems to be more devilish than her canon self since the canon Raven left Taiyang and Yang for reasons related to Salem and her tribe while this version left them intentionally.
