Sebastian Shaw, also known as The Red Skull, is a major antagonist of the Marvel Fanfilm Universe. He acts as the main antagonist of the 2019 Marvel based fanfilm/presentation X-Men: Origin of Chaos, a supporting antagonist of the epic fanfilm Avengers: In The Darkest Hours and a minor antagonist of the 2024 fanfilm Apocalypse. He is the corrupt and wicked officer of Ghetto Auschwitz, and is one of the only (if not only) Nazi militants that is mutant. He is portrayed by Toby Jones, who also played Gunnar Eversol in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Culverton Smith from the TV series Sherlock. In Apocalypse, he was portrayed by James Watson.
History[]
He at first warned a group of some kids not to play in the forest. Out of the kids, one kid called Michel was Magneto's son. The Red Skull then put his mask on, and threw a grenade at the kids, who were killed behind the scenes, and that caused the entire forest to light up on fire, and so did the small town next door burn to the ground. Later, Sebastian Shaw confronted Charles together with his superior, the General Ludendorff, as they both try to find the location of Magneto. Later, he teleports to Magneto's house. He finds Magneto, and threatens to kill him. However, Magneto uses his powers to pull an iron gear and lets it explode next to Sebastian, thus pushing him on the floor. Sebastian however got up and was then ordered by Ludendorff to watch Charles and the British Intelligence agent and spy, Jean Grey, as they were both taken to the ghetto by Ludendorff instead of Magneto. Sebastian is later questioned by Jean, who is now captive, about why he decides to kill millions of people for nothing. Sebastian replies that he did so in order to get to a top British spy like her, and get information about Britain's strategy. After Jean warns Sebastian that if he won't stop his crimes he will have to personally pay for it, Sebastian aggressively scratches Jean on her face and warns her that the next time she will talk like that she will be killed. Charles answers that he and Jean can plan an escape, but Sebastian replies that if they intend to do so, he will watch them on camera, and therefore it will be easy to kill them. He also warns them that he will shoot them in the eye of they try and escape. Sebastian later goes to meet Ludendorff at the ghetto's office. Ludendorff tells him about his parents, who were thought to be killed by Magneto when he was a child, and using his powers with no control. Sebastian replies that it's a sad story, but Ludendorff doesn't believe him because he knows that Sebastian means to kill thousands and sometimes even millions of people every single day. Ludendorff shows remorse to the minorities (specifically the Jews) and tells Sebastian to kill less people. Later, a mutant called Apocalypse offers to help Jean and Charles escape the Ghetto. However, as Charles reads Apocalypse's mind, it was revealed that he currently works for Sebastian, and that he killed Ludendorff's parents because he is not a kid, or an adult, or even a mutant, but he is actually a dark entity, meant to bring the apocalypse to life. Sebastian later revealed his true colors to Lundendorff, and he attempted to kill the general. However, Jean Grey rescued Ludendorff, allowing him to redeem himself and defect from The Nazi's ruthless military. Sebastian sent Apocalypse to kill Charles, Jean Grey and Ludendorff. Apocalypse manages to kill Ludendorff, but is then attacked and killed by Magneto.
After Jean Grey and Charles Xavier escape, Sebastian bombs up the ghetto and leaves, as he also finds Jean and Charles in the middle of town. He at first intends to take the two back to the ghetto. However, after Jean Grey calls him a monster who kills millions of innocent people, Sebastian Shaw attempts to shoot the two heroes, but Charles takes control of his mind, and causes him to unwillingly shoot himself, telling him that he will pay the price knowing that he is a natural born killer, put on Earth to kill millions of innocents.
He later returns as he is revived by the combined efforts of Thanos and Dr. Arnim Zola. He becomes one of the lieutenant generals of The Black Order (as well as the least loyal commander among the latter) and he serves Baron Mordo. He goes to Zola and asks him for more equipment against The Avengers. However, Zola insists that Thanos kills them and becomes the greatest hero of the universe. The Red Skull later gets the order from Baron Mordo to help Commander Annihilus find Nick Fury and bring him to the military space craft which belongs to The Black Order. However, despite getting the instructions of not killing The Iron Man or the other Avengers, Sebastian became obsessed with destroying them himself as an act of revenge on the deceased Charles Xavier and the other fellow Avengers during the WWII. The Red Skull later looses the battle with The Avengers, as Psylocke brutally kills him and calls him a monster.
