The Red Spy is the main antagonist of the Team Fortress 2 fan animation Scout's Engineer Day created by Smooth Line.
Biography[]
Scout's Engineer Day[]
The animation starts off with the Blu Engineer doing his job when all of the sudden he gets ill and is not able to do his job. So the mercs have Scout take his place.
Later the Scout decides to build a sentry gun not knowing what he is doing but manages to build it. A Blu Heavy shows up and ask Scout to build a dispenser. The Scout says no but builds it anyway. The Red Spy then saps and destroys the dispenser with a laugh.
The Scout then breaks down saying he foresaw this. The sentry then shoots a bullet at him but doesn't even hurt him. The Scout then chases the Spy around trying to kill him. But then looses him. The Spy then tries to spam sap the teleporter but then is caught by the Blu Scout again.
Later the Scout builds sentries all around the area. But the Spy throws his sappers everywhere and destroys all of the Scout's buildings. Just when the Spy is about to kill Scout, a level 1 sentry comes out of the grave and punches him in the face protecting the Scout. The sentry then suplexes the Spy. The sentry then punches the Spy hundreds of times defeating the Spy. The Spy is seen in the hospital with the Scout and Engineer.
Scout's Medic Day[]
The Red Spy returns with three F2Ps ready to kill the Scout. However, the Spy is interrupted from coughing out Archimedes and a laugh from the gibus Spy who is actually the Blu Medic in disguise, likewise the two F2Ps are the Blu Engineer and Soldier. The Medic reveals that it was his plan to lure out the Spy which angers the Scout, leading to an argument making the Spy uses his Dead Ringer to fake his own death before punching himself in the face and escaping.

- When the sentry punches the Spy its a reference to Kenshiro's ATATATATATATATATATA.
