Note: The character of Requiem and the creepypasta story Disgraced Legacy do not reflect the author's actual opinion on All Engines Go. Requiem was made to be symbolic of All Engines Go's overall reception and not as hate towards Mattel.
Requiem is the main antagonist of Disgraced Legacy. He is an alter-ego of the original Thomas from the TV series who seeks to destroy AEG Thomas in a misguided attempt at saving Awdry's legacy.
Biography[]
When Mattel made All Engines Go! as a reboot to the original Thomas & Friends, Requiem was upset and blamed AEG Thomas for disgracing Awdry's legacy. He collects the Railway Series books and tries to avoid collecting the AEG Thomas clones falling down. He forces AEG Thomas to go through a tunnel while he creeps up behind, only disappearing when AEG Thomas looks in his direction. When his attempts at destroying AEG Thomas fail, he decides to do the job himself, only stopping when AEG Thomas throws enough dynamite at him.
Appearance[]
Requiem resembles Thomas in shape, but he has a dark navy blue livery that resembles Thomas' livery in The Adventure Begins, with the letters LBSC on his tanks and the number 70 on the sides of his bunker.
Personality[]
Because Requiem is the original Thomas, he had all the personality traits of his original counterpart, but he has a deep hatred for Mattel and AEG Thomas. Eventually, when he is defeated, he is much calmer and gets along with his AEG counterpart, but he stills resents Mattel for their reckless handling of his franchise.

- Requiem is symbolic of the overall reception of All Engines Go!, as it is not very well-received by long-time fans of Thomas & Friends.
- Requiem's actions were motivated by a belief that he was protecting Awdry's legacy by attempting to kill AEG Thomas.
