Respiro is the main antagonist of Oldum77's .EXE Saga.
He is a ghost who uses his reality-warping powers to create this utopia are his slaves hail him as a supreme being. According to Oldum77, Respiro can only take the forms of those with extreme urges of revenge.
History[]
Past[]
Little to nothing is known about Respiro's backstory, but it is known that he was a scourge that was banished to the underworld by an ancient sultan a long time ago and is the evil counterpart half of Rovina.
AWHOLENEWWORLD.EXE[]
At the Agrabah Palace, Aladdin attempts to stop the Great Vizier Jafar from taking over the Arabian city, but is ultimately defeated after Jafar supercharges his powers. As a result of failing to defeat Jafar, Aladdin is sent to Agrabah's dungeons as Jafar kills his allies: Jasmine, the Sultan, and Abu. He then takes control of the throne, capturing the Genie.
Jafar and Iago suddenly hear commotion from within the palace nearby. Jafar demands for whoever was there to come out, and when the figure stepped out, it was revealed to be the man who helped him get the first piece of the Scarab that can lead to the Cave of Wonders. This man watched the entire fight. He was simply known as "The Peddler". After Jafar recognized the familiar face, he calmed down and he was happy to meet an old friend, so he decided to make the Peddler his Vizier, while Iago complained about not being chosen as the Vizier, to which Jafar ignored him.
Iago then flew away, frustrated, but the Peddler struck him with a sword laced with poison, killing him. The Peddler crept up slowly behind Jafar as he held the lamp, holding the now bloodied sword and killed him too. Now the Peddler had the lamp, and he rubbed it, summoning the Genie of the Lamp. The Peddler wishes to resurrect Respiro, but the Genie refuses to do so, so the Peddler decides to use Genie as a sacrifice. After killing the Genie with the same sword the Peddler took his body to an ancient tomb beneath Agrabah Palace, where he would use the Genie's corpse to revive his master.
The resurrection was successful, as a glowing red spirit floated over Genie's corpse. The spirit, known as "Respiro", was welcomed back by his right-hand man, but he lost all his power and he was very weak, so the Peddler offered Aladdin to Respiro as a host. Respiro accepted this and he used his twisted magic to delve into Aladdin's subconscious mind, with the Peddler following him.
Aladdin suddenly finds himself in the Agrabah marketplace, where he sees the Peddler standing in front of him. Claiming himself to be a 'simple peddler', he offers Aladdin his many wares. Aladdin walks up to him and chooses the lamp, to which he is suddenly whisked away to a black void. There, he meets Genie, who asks Aladdin to wish him free.
Confused, Aladdin asks what he means. Genie turns around, revealing he had Jafar's severed head placed on his headless body. After berating Aladdin and accusing him of an unspecified error, the two engage in battle. Victorious, Aladdin delivers the final blow, while Genie simply adds, "Al, is this... what you wanted?"
Aladdin is transported to another black void, where he moves on, discovering the Agrabah marketplace forming from nowhere. After pressing onward, he discovers the corpse of Razoul - the chief guard of the palace - nailed to a wall above his head. Frightened and confused, Aladdin presses on further. He eventually encounters Abu, his best friend, who gets decapitated before his eyes by a mysterious floating hand with a sword.
Furious and in grief, Aladdin swears to kill whoever did this to Razoul and Abu. Aladdin presses on, encountering the palace throne room, where Jasmine enters. Confused as to why she won't speak, Aladdin approaches, only to be struck by Jasmine. She then proceeds to charge at Aladdin, who swings his sword, cutting her clean in half. Aladdin is torn in two, as one part of him finds it exhilarating, and the other cannot believe what he has just done. Angered, confused, and saddened, Aladdin presses forward once more. He encounters his enemy, who is an evil version of himself, dubbed Aladdin.EXE. Offering him power, Aladdin.EXE attempts to coax Aladdin into joining him. Aladdin refuses, and the two engage in a fight.
The street rat defeats his evil doppelgänger, and the next thing he can remember is that he finds himself on the balcony of the Sultan's palace, asking Jasmine to forgive him for having lied about being a prince and wishing for the Genie to be freed, much to his joy. The Sultan soon comes and agrees to change the law, thus allowing Jasmine to marry Aladdin. Meanwhile, Respiro and the Peddler decide to travel to a different dimension in order for the former to increase his powers.
TOYSTORY.EXE[]
During Andy Davis' 6th birthday, the boy would receive a Buzz Lightyear action figure based on the titular character from his favorite movie 'Lightyear', who would ultimately take Sheriff Woody Pride's position as 'favorite toy' because of how he won the others over thanks to a stunt where he 'flew' around Andy's room. As much as Woody tried to reassure himself that he was still Andy's favorite toy, he would soon discover that was no longer the case. As the days following Buzz's arrival passed by, he would find himself as fodder for Buzz during both Andy's play sessions, and being left out by most of the other toys.
Respiro, unsuccessful with his attempted possession of Aladdin, traveled to the Toy Story dimension alongside the Peddler using their magic. Once there the Peddler showed Respiro that Woody had a large feeling of vengeance within him towards Buzz Lightyear, which would make him the perfect host for the evil spirit. From within the tool shed in Andy’s backyard, the Peddler and Respiro devise a plan to infect the toys’ cognition and turn them mortal by creating an alternate reality where the toys were flesh, blood, and bone. Respiro liked the idea and waited for the perfect time to strike. When Woody attempted to knock Buzz behind the desk using RC Car, he discovered the batteries in his remote were faulty. Andy soon returns before he goes to Pizza Planet, playing with the toys. During this, however, Andy accidentally knocks Woody's head off. After the cowboy is placed on a high shelf, Andy goes to Pizza Planet with neither Woody or Buzz. The other toys see what happened, feeling awful for the sheriff's tragic end.
Later that night, Woody's body vanishes from the shelf he was left on and Andy is killed in his sleep, which is discovered by the toys during their search around the house. Soon they find Woody-- now possessed by Respiro and dubbed Woody.EXE --before he proceeds to kill several Green Soldier Men, along with Bo Peep and Slinky. Woody.EXE also kills RC Car by diverting his attack, causing him to fall out of the bedroom window and crash into Jennifer's car in the driveway, resulting in a fiery explosion.
The rest of the toys are then hunted down by Woody.EXE in a game of hide-and-seek around the house, with Rex being first. The dinosaur tries to hide in the closet of Andy’s bedroom before being dragged into a hellish variant of it, where he is shot and killed by Woody.EXE via a revolver. Mr Potato Head tries to hide from Woody.EXE in the living room before being cornered in the kitchen, where he is burned to death by Woody.EXE alongside a decoy of Buzz. Rocky Gibraltar, an action figure of a former heavyweight wrestler, emerges from his hiding place in the tool shed located in Andy’s backyard and re-enters the house to find the others. He passes by the charred corpse of Mr. Potato Head, along with several dead Green Army Men before he is confronted by Woody.EXE.
As Rocky attempts to attack the possessed cowboy, he vanishes with a laugh before causing spiked ceilings to fall from above. Rocky escapes into the backyard again, where Woody.EXE chases him, only for the wrestler toy to escape into a mole tunnel, going underground. Woody.EXE then decides to engage in combat with Rocky, who successfully defeats him. Rocky celebrates his victory, but feels mournful for the other toys who died at his hands. Believing he killed Woody.EXE, Rocky leaves to search for more survivors. Shortly after he does, however, Woody.EXE opens his eyes, swearing to have his revenge on Rocky and any other toys who escaped him.
TOYSTORY2.EXE[]
The next day, after Rocky defeated Woody.EXE, he regroups with Buzz and Hamm, who also managed to escape the cowboy’s wrath. As they discuss what happened, Woody.EXE reappears and separates them throughout the house using his power, ready to enact his revenge on Rocky for opposing him previously, and also catch Buzz and Hamm. Rocky is sent to a small maze inside Andy’s room, where he attempts to escape by pushing giant blocks. As he’s running for his life, Woody.EXE appears at random intervals, attempting to ensnare him with his pull-string. With no luck in trying to catch him, Woody.EXE fills the area with a toxic gas to further slow Rocky down. Luckily for the wrestler toy, he manages to escape for a second time. Angered, Woody.EXE sends a familiar face after Buzz.
Buzz wanders around the living room, trying to find Rocky and Hamm before it’s too late. He suddenly encounters Rex, who claims he can help them defeat Woody.EXE. The space ranger is puzzled by this, as Rex was clearly killed by Woody.EXE the day before. After Rex disappears into the darkness ahead, a confused Buzz follows him into the garage, where Rex reveals himself to have been demonized by Respiro. Rex.EXE then fights Buzz, all the while the garage fills with blood. Just as it seems Buzz is about to drown, he lands the final blow to Rex.EXE, defeating him. Later, Rocky fights Woody and defeats him, Woody.EXE warns him that he hasn't died yet and his body disappears, Rocky then vows to find his body (the last parts might have to be edited if I got them wrong)
