Rex Mortiferum, born as Alexander Davis is the third of Your Not So Average Guy's Villainous Characters. He was a crime lord who sought to become the most powerful crime lord ever and he abused his daughter because he wanted her to become just like him and take over his gang one day. However, after he was defeated by Vindica (also known as Edward Martins), he was arrested. He now swears vengeance against him and plots on escaping prison.
Biography[]
Past[]
Alex Davis was born into a wealthy family in Canada. His mother died when he was really young and he was left to be raised by his abusive father. Alex was abused heavily during his childhood by both his father and step-mother.
Alex was shown to be different at a very young age; he was noticeably intelligent at a young age and he didn't seem to care about his abuse; despite hating his parents. He also seemed to have been practicing martial arts behind his parents' backs.
When he was seventeen, he began showing psychopathic traits toward both of his parents, which actually frighten them. One day, he brutally killed both of them and burnt down his home. He would then fleed to the United States and change his name to Rex Mortiferum.
He became involved in a drug gang. He was a feared member of the group and he was known for being one of the toughest. One day, he ended up killing the gang's leader. Because almost everyone in the gang was afraid of Rex, no one did anything, and Rex became the new leader of the gang and renamed it the Cohors Mortiferum.
Reign as Crime Lord[]
Rex was a feared crime lord. As the years went on, he would kill anyone who stood in his way and opposed him. He would do many horrible acts, such as destroying entire buildings and burning down entire neighborhoods.
He would also kill groups of people who he despised, such as people of color. He would even torture some of them and do horrible things to them, such as forcing them to eat the remains of their deceased family members (usually being parents, children, or loved ones) or having them fight to the death. He would even burn some people.
His gang would end up growing. While he seemed friendly to some of the new members at first, he later showed his true colors by becoming more abusive towards them. He would also end up raping one of the other members and had a child with her. He would end up becoming abusive toward his daughter as time went on, he even ended up breaking her arm one time. He also became rivals with another crime lord in his area, that being Vindica, leader of the Vindicta.
Defeat and Arrest[]
After getting into a crime war with the Vindicta, Vindica and his men found where Rex was hiding. They found his daughter, chained up in the basement. Shocked, Vindica freed the child and told his men to get her to safety.
He then found Rex with a few of his pawns in his office. Rex fought Vindica harshly. For most of the fight, Rex thought he was going to win. He had no problem fighting him, given that he was stronger than him. Right before Rex delivered the final blow to him, Vindica shot him, crippling him, while his other two pawns were already killed.
While Vindica got out of the place before the police arrived, Rex did not. He was arrested and sentenced to life in prison, while the rest of the Cohors Mortiferum. He swore revenge on Vindica by plotting on killing him and his own daughter who he had taken and begun plotting on escaping prison.
Personality[]
Rex is completely psychopathic and arrogant, showing no respect for those who worked for him. He was abusive to most people he knew and he would kill them if they opposed him. He never really did care about his daughter, he really only wanted her to end up being just like him. He was very abusive toward her, chaining her up sometimes, beating her, and even nearly strangling her to death one time.
He also was very manipulative, making new members think that he was kind at first, but he would later show his true cruel colors toward them later. He also hardly cared for others, since he had no problems with killing or torturing people brutally. He seemed to enjoy torturing his victims in a bunch of different ways, one of his most heinous being was forcing people to eat their deceased family members or else he would kill them. However, even if they did eat them, he would still have them killed.
Rex never really did care for anyone in his life and he did believe that in a way, he was doing the right thing.

- He could be considered to be a more twisted version of Vindica given a few things.
- Vindica loved animals while Rex was abusive toward them.
- Vindica was a loving father while Rex was a hateful one.
- Vindica is psychotic while Rex is a psychopath.
- Vindica was respectable toward his gang members while Rex was cruel.
- Vindica has never been caught while Rex has.
- Both Vindica and Saevus Caedis are probably the two most evil villains from Your Not So Average Guy (not including Exitium given that he doesn't live in the same universe/multiverse).
- Like Vindica, his design was influenced by Overhaul.
- So far, he is the only one of YNSAG's villains who has been defeated.
- He is the first of Your Not So Average Guy's villains to be cannibalistic. While he may not actually eat his own kind, he has forcefully had people eat their deceased loved ones.
- He now has a permanent limp from being shot.
