Rodan is the tritagonist of Godzilla: Cataclysmic Kaiju Combat. He is a volcanic pterosaur kaiju who was awakened by Godzilla and Lord Ghidorah's first fight.

Past[]
Little to nothing is known about Rodan's past expect for the fact that his parents nested in a volcano in Mexico in 1956 before they were killed by the military.
Cataclysmic Kaiju Combat[]
In 1964, Rodan was hibernating in a volcano until he was awakened by the noise of Godzilla and Lord Ghidorah's first fight. He flew over to Japan, only to see that the battle has already ended, with an injured Lord Ghidorah retreating. Upon meeting Godzilla, Rodan attacked Godzilla first, which resulted in a second fight starting up. The fight lasted for 12 hours, with more building getting destroyed, but in the end, Godzilla defeated Rodan, and the latter flew away to recover.
In 1966, Rodan encountered Lord Ghidorah, who immediately fired his gravity beam at the Fire Demon. The two flying monsters began to fight, with Rodan dodging Lord Ghidorah's gravity beams while trying to fry him with his fire breath, and Lord Ghidorah trying to zap him with his gravity beams or rip him apart.
RODAN.EXE[]
Rodan is the titular final victim of Monster-G's second round. He was trapped in a dark area. After exploring for a short time, Monster-G startled him by teleporting all over the place. This left Rodan dizzy, but he continued going forward until Monster-G stopped him. Rodan tried finding a way to escape, but Gigan.EXE, Gorosaurus.EXE, and Lord Ghidorah.EXE trapped him and forced him to bow before the "King". Afterwards, Rodan unwillingly became a slave to Monster-G.
GODOFTHEMONSTERS.EXE[]
Rodan appeared in the Circle of Wrath, being the only boss monster to not get demonized. Godzilla and the remaining monsters encountered him, and Rodan was forced to fight them, otherwise he would've met the same fate as everyone else. In the end, Godzilla decided to spare and recruit Rodan, forgiving him after the latter submitted to the former. They went through the rest of Hell and confronted Monster-G, starting the final fight. After the survivors supposedly won, Monster-G got up and transformed. Rodan, Godzilla, and the others were killed off, but Rodan joined the other spirits in reconstructing Godzilla's body and turning him into Ultimate Godzilla. After one long fight, Monster-G was destroyed and everyone was placed back onto Monster Island.
