Rosie Anderson is a major antagonist in the Caillou Gets Grounded series by the infamous PaperLuigi99, currently known as TheRedneckVyonder.
The young sister of Caillou and daughter of Boris and Doris, this version of Rosie is, alongside the Roku Kun version, one of the most infamous iterations in the history of Vyond as she takes part in the controversial Caillou's Ultimate Punishment Day, giving Caillou some brutal and over-the-top punishments without showing any regret or mercy.
Appearance[]
Rosie's appearance is mostly the same as her most recurring design used in the Vyond videos. However, over the course of the series, Rosie has some alterations. When she is possessed by Uolliac, her eyes turn completely black with no pupils. In her Saiyan form, she takes on the appearance of an anime girl with blond hair.
Personality[]
Unlike most versions of Rosie and like her father and mother, Rosie is a violent, cruel, petty and remorseless sibling who takes joy in torturing her brother Caillou by participating in the infamous Ultimate Punishment Day. While she doesn't give as much punishments as Boris and Doris do, she still allows herself to brutally torture Caillou and watch him suffer with no remorse.
She is also very heartless like her parents, as she laughs when Caillou takes his own life, even recording it on camera for her family's own personal gain.
Biography[]
In Caillou's Halloween, Rosie is mostly a minor character, but still plays a big role in the video when she becomes possessed by the spirit of Uolliac due to Caillou's usage of the Ouija board, only to be freed by priests who exorcise her by grounding Uolliac.
However, in the controversial Caillou's Punishment Day, Rosie plays a larger and antagonistic role, in which she directly takes part in the titular Ultimate Punishment Day, a series of 30 punishments that are nothing but vile, gruesome and outright disgusting. For a majority of the punishments, Rosie simply watches Boris and Doris torture Caillou while laughing sadistically, but does take part in a few of the punishments.
In the punishments she gives to Caillou, she scrapes his face with a cheese grater, blasts him with a Kamehameha after turning into her Saiyan form and slams him into a pit of spikes. This wouldn't end there though, as when Caillou declares that he hates Boris's torture chamber, Rosie retaliates by beating him up with a spiked bat. She then forces him into bathing in boiling grease, causing him to scream loudly in pain. Shortly after, Rosie curses Caillou with the Cruciatus curse, which was meant to be the final punishment.
What was initially believed to be finally over would be further extended with extra punishments due to how Caillou had mistreated Rosie by threatening her life and cursing her. After Caillou was sexually assaulted by Boris and scarred for life, Rosie forces him to kill and eat his own cat Gilbert, making him not only disgusted but also traumatized as he loved his cat, being his best friend.
After Gilbert's demise, Rosie watches Boris launch a missile at Chuck E. Cheese, destroying it completely and making Caillou fall into depression. Three weeks later, Rosie would join Boris and Doris in filming Caillou's suicide on camera and posting the video on YouTube. Finally, she celebrates his death in front of his grave along with Boris, Doris and Miss Martin.
Trivia[]
- Although she gives fewer punishments to Caillou compared to Boris and Doris in Caillou's Ultimate Punishment Day, Rosie is infamously responsible for one of the reasons the video was so controversial that it got taken down from YouTube, as she forced Caillou to shoot his own pet cat Gilbert and eat his corpse, which is outright considered as way too gruesome and cruel as it involved cannibalism and animal cruelty. Furthermore, this would only add more fuel to the fire as Gilbert's death, along with the destruction of Chuck E. Cheese, would ultimately lead to Caillou killing himself.
- While Roku Kun's iteration of Rosie was also as violent as this iteration, it was toned down in 2023, while the latter was still being extremely violent.
- Rosie does not appear in Caillou's Tragic Behavior Card Day.
