Ruby Rose is the titular main protagonist of TheGamerLover's Mematic Universe spin-off series RU🅱️Y and a major character in the main series. She is the leader of Team RWBY and the younger half-sister of Yang Xiao Long.
Personality[]
Ruby, like most characters in the TGLMU, shares many traits with her canon counterpart. She is an energetic and optimistic girl who always searches for the most peaceful or hopeful option to situations, always refusing to give up no matter the odds.
In most casual settings, Ruby is carefree and fun-loving, quick with smiles and warm remarks, but her idiocy makes her being seen as a mere joke who don't deserve to be leader, especially from the likes of Weiss and Ragna, who sees her as a total weirdo. But despite that, Ruby is smarter than Yang when it means of comparing the two of them in who's the most dim-witted of them both.
However, the other side of the coin exposes her being some kind of a bully, aiding Yang on her mean pranks and tormenting and/or humiliating Weiss just for the lols, even when she's not bullying her, she tends to make her life more miserable, like when she repeatedly hit her to death with Crescent Rose in front of Ragna, which also serves as an example of how she tends to priorize her likes over her teammates.
When it means of people she loves like when Selvaria revealed the truth about Summer Rose's death and Ruby broke down in tears, she got blinded by her own rage upon getting up, wishing for Selvaria and ONLY HER to have a suffering death by her own hands, revealing a border-line psychopath/demonic side that she expresses when someone important to her has died at hands of a villain.
Despite all that, she genuinely cares for all of her allies on a personal level, and sees close friends and allies as essentially family doing whatever she can to protect them.
List of Crimes Done by Ruby[]
- Arson:
- At some point prior to the beginning of RU🅱️Y, she and Yang burned the Malachite's house, leaving them homeless and earning a desire to kill them if they see them again.
- She and Yang also burned a building in front of Weiss and Blake.
- Robbery and Grand Theft Auto:
- When Yang was looking for Raven at Junior's Club, Ruby was robbing a bank and having the Shoopkeep at gunpoint.
- Ruby stole Blake's book at one point, thankfully, the cat Faunus got the best of her at the end.
- Ruby stole the academy's Pokémons thrice so far: When she was preparing a Pokémon tournament with her friends, when she was dueling with Yang and when Weiss made one final attempt to gain Winter's approval on how good she has gotten over time. All three times she got caught and scolded by Glynda Goodtiwch.
- She and Yang stole their father's car to drive with Mycale.
- Breaking and entering:
- Feeling all speciall and stuff because of "being her birthday", she does a lot of illegal stuff, including entering Skinner and Agnes' house and eat the roast he was preparing for Superintendent Chalmers and even steal the candies Professor Oobleck wrote not to eat more than one, despite this, her teammates got the best of her in the end and gave her a fitting punishment in the form of jumpscare from Monika and being put on a metal can, with a lid on her head and a sign that simply says "trash" and then sent to the park above a boat as people who sees her refers to her as "Trash Boat".
- She and Blake entered Fuuka Yamagishi's house without her permission, however, she end up at gunpoint by Fuuka and her "Bazuuka".
- Murder:
- Ruby killed Weiss a few times as of now, having no regrets of her actions.
- Property damage:
- Ruby has destroyed windows, burned down buildings and forced Weiss to drive wildly, running over people on their path and putting a bomb on the car, in the latter's case, her and her sister's actions had fell in to Weiss, who has minor-to-no fault on this crazy driving grand theft auto situation.
