Ryoba Aishi is the main antagonist of the Yandere Simulator fanfiction The Escape and the posthumous overarching antagonist in Life Goes On. She is the abusive wife and mother of Soto Akiyami and Ayano Aishi, who kidnapped the man as a teen and forced him to marry and have a child with her.
Personality[]
Unlike her original counterpart, who still held love for Ayano and only wants the best for her, Ryoba is a sociopathic, controlling and jealous woman who shows a complete sadistic and perverse nature. She shows to be completely obsessed with Soto, kidnapping and abusing him for years to keep him loving her. When Ayano is around, she slowly saw her as competition, finding jealously in Soto spending time her and slowly grew to the hate her, he before that, took advantage of Ayano’s lack of empathy or feelings to try and shape her into an obsessive maniac like her.
She uses psychological tactics to emotionally destroy Soto, making him think she killed his sister and forcing him to stare at the corpses of all his friends while abusing him for years to tear him down enough to marry her. During her final minuets with Soto, she shows her true colors as she insults Soto as being pathetic, proving that the obsessive love she had for him was nothing more than controlling.
Biography[]
Ryoba during her high school years fell obsessive with Soto Akiyami. Deciding that no one else can have him, she murders all of his friends that she saw as rivals before kidnapping Soto, keeping him tied up in her basement for years, forcing him to see the corpses of his deceased friends and she also pretending to kill Soto’s sister to tear him down further. She then proceeds to mentally and physically abuse him, before raping Soto to get pregnant with Ayano.
After getting married, she forced Soto to change his face and identity, being labeled missing by his family as she raised the emotionally unfeeling Ayano as a child to be into a killer like her, while slowly growing obsessive and jealous over Soto showing Ayano more attention than her, as Soto attempts to keep Ayano from becoming as horrible as Ryoba. This hits a peak as one day when she was young, she tried to drown Ayano in the bathtub, only allowing Soto to save her reluctantly before showing perversion over Soto preforming CPR on her.
When Ayano becomes a teenager and Ryoba and Soto go to America for a vacation, Soto discovers that Ayano attempted suicide out of guilt for leading another girl to suicide because she was getting close to Taro Yamada. Soto snaps and abandons Ryoba as he makes it to America to help Ayano, before making Ayano hide in her room.
When Ryoba comes back home, Soto knocks her out and ties her up the basement, wanting to kill her over what she done. She starts to cowardly beg for forgiveness and mercy before taunting Soto for being pathetic and then revealing her wanting to get Ayano out of the way. Soto hears a fight upstairs and he discovers Ayano being attacked by Yakuza members, to which he kills before confronting Ryoba. She confirms that when she got back she used her connections to the Yakuza and have them kidnap and sell off Ayano (either sex slavery or snuff filming) and expresses her desire to watch what happens with her, which leads Soto snapping and shooting her in the head, killing her instantly and freeing Ayano and Soto from her wrath.
