“ | I don't want to hurt anybody. I just want them to love and worship me! | „ |
~ Saiko Bichitaru's most famous quote. |
“ | You don't understand! You don't understand what it's like to live life constantly rejected. Constantly ignored. Knowing you'll never be chosen because of how you are. That nobody will ever love you. Care for you! That's why I can't control myself when someone finally shows me attention. That's why I lost my temper. I just wanted you to love me, Boopkins. I just wanted your love. I just don't want to be alone anymore. | „ |
~ Saiko Bichitaru to Fishy Boopkins. |
Saiko Bichitaru, also known as Saiko or Saiko-chan, is a major protagonist in the 2011 Australian adult-animated web series SMG4. She is an insane anime girl who is obsessed with Fishy Boopkins.
She used to be a fictional character in a dating simulator. However, Boopkins used Kamek's magic wand to make her real so he could have a waifu. After fighting SMG4 and his friends a few times, she redeemed herself and became a member of SMG4's Gang. Aside from Boopkins and Luigi, she is also friends with Tari and Meggy Spletzer.
Her voice clips are provided by Minako Kotobuki, Mikako Komatsu, Akemi Okamura and Ryoko Shiraishi, while her original singing voice is provided by Ellyn Barclay. In "Meggy Learns Japanese" and the WOTFI 2021 rap battle, she is voiced by Elsie Lovelock, who also voices Evelyn Claythorne in Meta Runner.
Roles[]
She is a major protagonist in the Modern Era, and a supporting protagonist in The New Era.
She is a major character in Seasons 8-9 and The Waluigi Arc, the deuteragonist of The Rapper Bob Arc, one of the three deuteragonists (alongside Mario and Fishy Boopkins) of The Anime Arc, a supporting protagonist in Seasons 10, 11, and 13, Meggy’s Destiny: An SMG4 Movie, The YouTube Arc, The SMG4 Movie: 10 Year Anniversary Special, the Genesis Arc, the Revelations Arc, SMG4 Movie: REVELATIONS, SMG4 Movie: It's Gotta Be Perfect and SMG4 Movie: Western Spaghetti, one of the three main protagonists (alongside Melony and SMG4) of Season 12, and a recurring protagonist in Season 14.
Appearance[]
Saiko is a tall teenage girl who has pink hair, tied up in red bows, and purple eyes. She wears a beige jacket with a black tube top underneath, a dark-brown miniskirt, a black belt with a skull-shaped buckle, black stockings and light-grey casual shoes. She also wears a skull-and-crossbones pendant around her neck.
Personality[]
As her name suggests, Saiko is psychotic and mentally unstable, causing chaos and destruction wherever she goes, sometimes even accidentally. She acts like a yandere to Boopkins, constantly obsessing over him and wanting him only for herself, even killing others to do so. All of this is because she wants attention, mainly because she was an unpopular character in her game of origin.
In "SMG4: Luigi's Lesson", after talking to Luigi about her problems, she redeemed herself and helped SMG4's Gang fight Waluigi during the Waluigi Arc. She was temporarily turned into a T-Pose zombie, but was reverted back to normal after the Staff Of Rejection was destroyed. Following her redemption, Saiko became much more friendly to SMG4, Mario and the others and started acting more genuinely protective of them, especially Boopkins and Meggy. Despite this, her violent behaviour can often arise at times.
