Sargon is the main antagonist of The Swan Princess fanfiction Swan Princess: Rise of the Forbidden Arts written by Firelord515. He is Odette's older brother and former prince of King William's kingdom who discovered the Forbidden Arts and became consumed with a thirst for power. After getting banished Sargon seeks to get revenge against his father by conquering and/or destroying his kingdom.

Background[]
Sargon, whose true name is currently unknown, is the main antagonist of the fic. He is actually Odette’s older brother who Odette had absolutely no idea even existed as King William kept his secret. Sargon apparently always had a thirst for power and he ended up discovering a secret chamber that housed the Forbidden Arts. Sargon eventually grew to master the Forbidden Arts in secret and learned everything about it.
Later on, when he was around 15 years old, his father King William sent Sargon along with some of his knights to stop a gang of bandits terrorizing the kingdom. They do that, but due to Sargon using his newly acquired magic to murder all of the bandits. William confronts Sargon about what happened and Sargon tries to murder William and take over the Kingdom but his mother surprises him and knocks him out. Sargon is banished from the kingdom. Sargon is able to take over a ship of pirates by murdering its captain and plotting to take revenge for his failure and starts gathering an army of pirates to invade William’s kingdom.
Sargon and his army would bring death and destruction across entire lands. Killing thousands to millions of people and the ones that survived only wished that they were dead. Sargon and his army would eventually invade William’s kingdom. The invasion would lead to thousands of deaths on both sides as Sargon pushes his way through. William calls for backup from his allies which eventually results in the death of Uberta’s husband who died trying to stop Sargon. The kings are able to push Sargon back and his ship gets cough up in a storm and Sargon is presumed dead.
Present Day[]
In reality, Sargon survived and was found by a group of Goblins. Sargon took over leadership of the Goblins and they would start conquering entire Kingdoms, bringing death to nearly everyone inside each one, so Sargon could spread his influence as he plotted to make his grand return. Sargon would eventually get Rothbart under his employ, in this fic Rothbart was a secret good guy the entire time. Sargon would order Rothbart to kill King William, his own father, which Rothbart would reluctantly abide by under William’s request to keep Odette safe. Rothbart is able to stall Sargon from killing Odette but Odette is able to seemingly kill Rothbart leaving Sargon to go back to square one.
At some point Sargon learns of his previous dark lord successors and that the previous one had found a way to achieve immortality by absorbing the soul of a family member. But he didn’t have a family member so he wasn’t able to. Sargon on the other hand does have a family member in Odette. Sargon attacks Uberta’s kingdom and takes it over, he sends Uberta over to make sure that they know he is coming. Sargon then attempts to attack Odette and Derek. When Sargon arrives he explains everything to the two about his entire past. Sargon attempts to absorb Odette’s soul but he learns that Odette is pregnant and knowing that it will be stronger if the soul he absorbs is young decides to absorb that instead. Sargon retreats and plans to return later.
