Sark is the secondary antagonist of the Sonic.exe: Nightmare Universe series developed by JaizKoys, serving as a major antagonist in Sally.exe: Eye of Three and a recurring character in Nightmare Shorts.
He is the most powerful Sharpness Demon alive[1], serving as Exetior's former right-hand man in charge of building up his new army and raiding other worlds. After the excruciating loss Exetior's forces faced in the war against the Highests, Sark was brutally tortured by Stich-Lite until he was freed by Exetior. He invaded a Mobius of another dimension and conquered it by ripping every single shred of hope from the inhabitants' souls, establishing his own Darwinistic society where only the strong survive.
His current voice actor is Pastel_Russ. He used to be voiced by DarkBox, who also voiced Knuckles, Pervision and Negagen in the same series, as well as Exeller from the Sonic.exe: The Spirits of Hell series.
Overview[]
At an early age, Sark had to constantly fight in order to survive against the powerful demons of his homeworld. Despite not having enough physical skills when he was younger, he possessed an indomitable will that allowed him to grow stronger and stronger to the point where he could now squash those who tried to control him. Many other Sharpers became attracted to his power and began to follow his orders, allowing hm to wipe out anyone that dared question him.
Sark later met Exetior, who was able to convince him into joining his cause by appeasing toward his ego with promises of new land to conquer. He was the offensive spearhead that led the entire army into battle, being the ones to directly challenge the Highest. Unfortunately, Exetior's army were nowhere close to the level of power the Highests had, and the entire army was completely wiped out with the stronger demons being imprisoned in the Phantom Prison. Sark would often be subject to a heinous amount of torture by the Highest Stich-Lite, as she was allowed to do whatever she wanted to her prisoners. This would break at Sark's spirit enough to render him insane even after Exetior freed him from it all.
As Exetior tasked him with taking over other dimensions, Sark came across one and completely annihilated everything there at full force, enslaving the entire population there and turning them into demonized mortals. Due to a problem with how his method of demonization affects male testosterone levels, the men started to show traits similar to Sark himself, wanting to seize his own power and steal all his women for themselves. This prompted Sark to commit androcide on all the men of his dimension.
Appearance[]
Sark's mortal form looks almost identical to that of Sonic the Hedgehog, with the exception of him having pitch black bleeding eye sockets with red glowing eyes. His fur has a more greenish hue compared to Sonic's blue color, and his attire has a much more withered aesthetic to it after Outcast Massacre.
In his true form, he has no natural shape other than a blood red core stone[1] at his center. Thorns protrude from his small core, with them hardening after a certain amount of them grow.
Personality[]
Sark is reputed as the one of the most ferociously dangerous demons to have ever existed in the series. He is callous, bloodthirsty, tyrannical, ruthless, and extremely arrogant and narcissistic. Stemming from his torture, his sociopathic tendencies are most notably shown in the horrifically abusive treatment of his own servants, often cited to beat, rape, and even execute them on the spot just for falling out of line. He is even more cruel to any minions that fail to follow his orders, highlighted with Rosy due to her inability to fight.
Similar to Sonic, Sark refuses to bow to anyone[1]. His willpower is so immense that the demon Crowd could not properly control him at his peak. He has attempted to betray Exetior numerous times in order to usurp his power for himself, only to be put in his place every single time until the true ending of Sally.exe: Eye of Three. Sark can be shown to be quite quippy due to this, such as when he fought Blinded Justice and started talking about what a Mecha Sark would look like.
Sark is extremely petty towards any losses he takes. When he used a Time Stone in Sally.exe: Eye of Three to discover a future of Rosy being taken from his grasp by Exetior and his servants, he immediately attempted to form an alliance with the Highests in order to kill Exetior.
Despite his over-the-top cruel nature, Sark is so deeply traumatized by Stich-Lite's torture of him that he heavily suppresses his memories of the experience. If someone were to open his mental wounds up, it may make him go insane[1].
Powers and Abilities[]
- Sharpness Demon physiology: Sark is the strongest Sharpness Demon alive excluding the Arch-Demons and Exetior. He has no natural shape, but has replicated the appearance and physical prowess of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sark has shown to possess almost all of Sonic's natural abilities, possibly to a degree that surpasses the hedgehog himself. He has immense super strength, can run faster than sound, and can outmaneuver homing missiles in almost zero time.
- Superhuman acrobatics: Sark can jump tremendous heights and weaponize his own body in the form of the Spin Attack and Spin Dash.
- Immortality: Sark does not need to eat or sleep and has lived for thousands of years, though he can still be killed in combat.
- Chaos Energy manipulation and emission: Sark is able to utilize the all-encompassing Chaos Energy, the same power exerted from the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald. He can use it to fly, teleport, shapeshift, utilize telekinesis, and demonize deceased bodies into vessels far stronger than when they were alive.
- Possession: Sark can possess mortals and control their bodies. He did this with his dimension's Sonic and used him to kill his friends.
- Indomitable will: Sark's will is so powerful that it allowed him to grow stronger in an abnormally short amount of time when he was younger. Because of his refusal to obey anyone but himself, he was able to enforce his own will on the native demons of his world, allowing them to do his own bidding.

Sally.exe: Eye of Three secret cutscenes[]
Rosy decides to escape from him and goes to Exetior's base, where she develops a crush on him and leaves them after a short amount of time. She returns to Sark's base only to be greeted by her world version of Cream and Sally. Sark arrives and taunts Rosy, revealing that he had Cream watch over her the entire time and knows about her secret visit. He and his servants are quickly defeated by Exetior's, Sark advises them to leave until Exetior himself shows up and takes Rosy with him. Sark is bewildered and frustrated, and plans on getting revenge on Exetior.
Sark's second secret is him planning with Dr. Eggman on collecting the Time Stones to enslave other worlds. He then asks the two Time Stones he has to show him a future where Exetior subdues the Freedom Fighters, but is instead watching a future of Rosy being taken away. He races away, angered.
Sonic.exe: Nightmare Beginning (remake)[]
In the remake of Nightmare Beginning Sark can be shown in a secret with Tails. After murdering a few animals to escape from Exetior he ends up in Sark's dimension, finding the corpses of his victims. Sark reveals himself and even revealed that he raped Amy/Rosy, Cream, and Sally before killing all three girls, and he most likely did that to the rest of the women in his dimension, he attempts to kill Tails but he defends himself from the demon. Exetior later finds a ring which leads to Sark's dimension.

- He was named after Mr. Sark, an American Youtuber and a gameplay commentator, comedian, journalist and TV Host from California. His name also derives from the Greek word σάρκα (sárka), meaning "flesh".
- Sark's character is primarily inspired by the MY5TCrimson incarnation of Sonic.exe, with many events of his past being extremely similar to how characters were killed in that series.
- According to Sark's official biography[1] and JaizKoys' twitter:
- He is around 9,500 years old, 3.5 feet tall in his "Sonic" form, and 10 feet tall in his true form.
- His favorite food is bloody steak[2].
- He despises people who achieved things without any struggle or hardship.
- He hates Christmas.
- He has his own version of Metal Sonic specifically designed to kill him[3].
- He has a love-hate relationship with Stich-Lite, and his Sally reminds him of her in a perverse way.
- He can get quite depressive if he doesn't try to drown out his feelings with rage.
- If someone tries to open the scars of his mental trauma, he would most likely go insane.
- Sark's toxic, manipulative and outright sexual abuse of women (especially toward Rosy and Cream) has lead to multiple controversies surrounding how rape is used in the series as a shock factor to portray Sark's cruelty. Many other members of the .EXE community such as ASTRANOMICONX and DevyJolt have expressed disgust with the character as a whole. The hate for Sark would get worse when Sonic.exe's original creator, JC The Hyena, was caught attempting to prey upon a minor for sexual activity in 2021.
- Despite all the controversy, Sark in-universe is not explicitly stated anywhere to be pedophilic as most of his servants are canonically above the age of consent. The controversies surrounding Sark have also been referenced in-series with rumors about Sark being a predator by the character Richard.
