~ Satanos. |
Satanos is an antagonist created by RightBurst_Ultra, and one of many variations of Sonic.EXE. The digital manifestation of Satan himself, fragments of him were created by DareDevil and packaged into different games to spread him around, gathering fear to gain power.
He is formerly voiced by sssprite.
Appearance[]
Satanos' fake form, dubbed as Psycho Sonic, is meant to replicate the design of Sonic the Hedgehog as seen in the classic games. As such, this form of Satanos is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with blue quills and peach skin, wearing white gloves and red shoes. Unlike Sonic, Satanos' quills are messier, his pupils are small and his eyes are bloodshot, and only one of his shoes has a white stripe on it. Much more tellingly, blood pours from his eyes and a giant pentagram is etched into his stomach.
His true form sheds any hope of hiding the fact that Satanos is a demon. His teeth turn sharper as his sclera turn black and pupils turn red. His arms extend to reveal bare flesh, and his legs elongate and feet become cloven to resemble those of a goat's. His quills become messier and his ears curve upwards, resembling horns.
In the real world, Satanos takes on a much different form. A quadrupedal beast resembling a mish-mash of various creatures, Satanos becomes a shadowy figure who hides in the dark, with only his red eyes and white teeth distinguished from the rest of his body. A shadowy aura surrounds him, and his fur starts to jet out like spikes.
Personality[]
“ | I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER! | „ |
~ Satanos, showing his feral nature. |
Satanos' personality aligns to that of most common depictions of the Devil, being cunning and ruthless whenever the situation calls for either. He'll slaughter anything in his path, and cares for none.
Satanos becomes feral when he detects blood nearby, acting much more aggressive. Notably, when around other EXEs, he tends to become competitive, challenging others to prove his strength.
Biography[]
Some time in the past, a company known as DareDevil became known for creating hacked copies of various video games throughout the years. While they seemed innocuous at first, the company had an ulterior motive, as they were cultists worshiping a digital demon. Having snuck parts of this demon into each of their games, they hoped that this entity would strike fear into the hearts of people all over in order for the demon to gain power.
Their plans were foiled when one day, the company went bankrupt, and the cultists had to disband due to no longer being able to produce games with the budget they had. While most games they produced were either lost to time or destroyed, their copy of the first Sonic the Hedgehog game managed to persist, with one unlucky player unleashing the horrid beast inside.
Powers and Abilities[]
Powers[]
- Game Manipulation: For all intents and purposes, Satanos is in control of the world he's in, due to being its main attraction. He can manipulate it at will, and is free to do whatever he wants inside.
- Parasites: Satanos can summon parasites within him to feast on the bodies of his prey. They reproduce on their own, and can be stored inside Satanos for safe keeping.
- Reanimation: For a brief period of time, the parasites can reanimate the corpse of whoever they're feeding on if Satanos has sealed their body with a pentagram beforehand, though typically after Satanos is finished feasting on the organs inside. They stop puppeteering the corpse after the parasites have finished eating the corpse until nothing is left, after which they leave to find a new host.
- Immortality: As a being beyond the scope of mortal understanding, Satanos is effectively immortal. Nothing can hurt or kill him, aside from a very specific weakness listed below.
- Pyrokinesis: Satanos is able to manipulate flames and summon it at will.
- Chronokinesis: Satanos can seemingly manipulate the past and future, and can travel to either at will.
- Summoning: Should Satanos build up enough fear, he is able to traverse into the real world, morphing into the shadowy phantom
Weaknesses[]
- Divinity: Obviously, as a being made to resemble the devil, any and all holy or otherwise religious items and trinkets would be extremely detrimental to Satanos. How so is not specified, as it's unclear if it's temporarily harmful or able to cause Satanos to die.

Trivia[]
- Satanos has been joked to smoke crack due to his Psycho form's eyes.
- He doesn't smoke crack, likely due to being a digital entity who lives in a game where crack isn't a thing.
- Satanos cannot hold his Psycho form for too long, and he keeps his expression blank and his mouth closed to maintain his ruse. Of course, this limits the things he is able to say.
- Him attempting to move his face too much during this time will cause the parasites to reveal themselves and spill out.
- Just like the original Sonic.exe, the souls, or Wanderers as they're called here, are Satanos' previous victims. Notably, he eats their insides before letting his parasites have the rest.
- His name is a pun on "Satan" and "Operating System", which is more-often-than-not shortened to "OS".
- His real world design was originally made by muto157 as a redesign for Satanos, but was eventually made canon after a conversation between the two.[1]
- Originally, the company that made him was known as Diablo Inc.[2]
- Canonically, he has a D-Sides variant named Beelzevos, who resembles a green Espio.[3]
- Satanos was meant to show up in Vs. Sonic.Exe as part of the 3.0 update, but was scrapped after RightBurst was kicked from the team.
- In it, he would've had two songs, Trickery and Perdition.
- Additionally, RightBurst also "claimed" that Trickery doesn't "belong" to him, but Devoid.
- In it, he would've had two songs, Trickery and Perdition.
- Another one of RightBurst's EXEs, No-Name, is associated with Satanos, with No-Name being his "messenger". The two were made by the same company, being DareDevil.
- Satanos hates christian related activity, notabally christmas
