This villain was proposed but was rejected by the community for not being heinous enough or lacks what is necessary to be a Complete Monster villain. Therefore, this villain shall be added to our "Never Again List", where proposed villains rejected by the community shall be placed to prevent future proposals of the same evil-doer. They can be proposed again (with the permission of an administrator) if new elements appear in their series that can change their status as non-CM villains.

Scar is one of the major villains in the Character What franchise. Scar is also a character from The Lion King.

Background[]

Scar was born the Pride Lands originally named after his ancestor Askari, and was some point selected as the leader of The Lion Guard, a group of lions who protect the Pride Lands and the Circus of Life, while Askari's older brother named Mufasa was destined to be the next king of Pride Rock. With his responsibility of leading the Lion Guard, Askari grant the power known as The Roar of Elders. One day, Askari meets a Strange Lion who suggested that Askari should be the king of the Pride Lands. However, the Strange Lion lead Askari deep into the Outside where was right next to a volcano, but was actually a trap where a Strange Cobra bit his left eye and giving him a permanent scar. The venom in his scar started to poison and corrupt Askari's mind, losing control over his darkest feelings.

The Strange Lion then offered to cure the venom in return to use Askari to help him take control over the Pride Lands. Realize the Strange Lion's true plan, Askari angerly use the Roar of the Elders to send the Strange Lion and cobra into the volcano, thus killing both of them in the process. Askari returns to Pride Rock to report to Mufasa about him vanquishing the two villains for attempting to take other the Pride Lands. But Mufasa nicknamed Askari based on the scar on his left eye out of mockery rather than praising his brother. Outraged by his brother's lack of appreciation for him, Scar's jealously and hatred of Mufasa, and along with the venom begun to corrupt his mind and changed his personality for the worst, and finally decides to overthrow his brother and become the king of Pride Rock instead.

Later, Scar explains his entire plan in secret to the rest of the Lion Guard, but they refuse to take part in his evil scheme, and possibly planned to stop him themselves. Outraged of this attempted "betrayed", Scar used the Roar of the Elders to blow away his former comrades thus destroyed them. However, Scar was unware that the Roar was only meant to be use for good, he was surprised when he saw the Lion Guard mark vanquished, which symbolized losing the Roar of Elders, due to the using the power for evil.

Character What: The Adventures[]

In the Lion King episode, Scar reprise his role from the Lion King film, with Shadow Aaron warming about Shadow Joe's arrival in the Pride Lands, a hero on a mission to stop his tyrannical over the Pride Lands. However, Scar didn't considered Shadow Joe to be a threat, and orders Shadow Aaron leave. When Nala was send by Rafiki to search for help, which she found Shadow Joe and Twilight Sparkle in a deep jungle, and return with her back to Pride Rock to meet Scar. Though Shadow Joe was aware of Scar's villainy but didn't tell Nala, possibility because she might not believe him. Upon arrival of Pride Rock, Since there no more food in the Pride Lands, Scar suggested that Shadow Joe and Twilight Sparkle should be devoured, only Nala to interfere, allowing both Shadow Joe and Twilight to escape. Once they were somewhere safe from harmed, Shadow Joe explains to Nala that his real reasons of arriving to the Pride Lands is find Simba, who revealed to be alive by Rafiki. Upon hearing this, Nala wanted to join them in their quest to find the rightful king, as she has not seen Simba for years. When Simba finally returns to Pride Rock after being convinced by Nala, Shadow Joe, Rafiki and the spirit of Mufasa, he arrives in the scene when Scar angerly summoned Simba's mother and his sister-in-law called Sarabi. Scar questions her why her hunting party had not doing their job to find food, which Sarabi explains the now wasteland of the kingdom but Scar states that they are not looking hard enough. She suggested that they must leave Pride Rock in order to survive, but Scar refuse to take responsibility of his own actions, rejects the idea of leaving Pride Rock. Sarabi states that he can't do such thing as it would leave everyone to starve to death, but Scar arrogantly claims that he is the king, and can do whatever he wants. This pushes Sarabi to openly compares to her late husband, Mufasa, Scar angerly strikes Sarabi to the ground. Suddenly, a now adult Simba appears to defence Sarabi confront Scar for his actions. Scar initially mistake for Mufasa. However, after realizing it's nephew, Simba, Scar pretend to express his "joy" at seeing him alive as well as giving Shenzi, Banzai and Ed a angry glare for failing to kill him years ago.

In the final battle Shadow Joe and Simba work together to defeat Scar, and after Scar's defeat the Hyenas kill Scar when he say that they when the real enemies (Same fate in the film).

Character What: Tales[]

In The Lion King II, Scar is the overreaching posthumous antagonist, as it is revealed that he has a pride of lionesses (known as Outsiders) who were led by his most loyal follower Zira, who had been banished to the outlands by Simba because of their loyally towards Scar. Zira continue to conceive his plans by using her son Kovu to overthrown Simba and take his place as the new king, despite Kova not being biological son as revealed by Nuka.

In The Lion Escape, Scar was takes to zoo but he manage to escape and cause wild havoc on the street, Shadow Joe defeated and recapture Scar and taken him back to the zoo.

Character What: New Hope[]

In The Madagascar King, Scar somehow manage to escape from zoo, but was captured by animal control, and put into a crate, being shipped to Madagascar. However, during one of Shadow Joe's battles with Ursula, he was knock off the ship, and was carry by the sea to Madagascar. When Scar arrive on the island of Madagascar, he was confront by Fossas and they attempt to devour him, but Scar manages to convince the Fossas to help him takeover Madagascar by promising that they never go hunger again once he become king of Madagascar.

Character What: Chronicles[]

In another episode, Shadow Aaron ordered Scar along with Shere Khan, Steele, and Wile E Coyote kill Bambi for helping Shadow Joe and his friends escape. Bambi lead the four predators on a chase through the forest like he did with Man's Dogs in Bambi 2, yet again use his surroundings to his advantage. After Shere Khan was defeated by Flower's skunk spray, and Steel by Bambi launching the Porcupine in air and landing on his rump, Scar along with Wile E. Coyote continue chasing Bambi as they chase him into the meadow and attempted to ambush him through the tall grasses, but Bambi senses their movement and makes his escape so they bump into else other. He finally lead the two remaining predators up to a rocky cliff, but Scar fall to his doom after the cliff that he jump on was by Bambi and Wile E jumping on it first, though Scar survived, unlike one of Man's dogs.

Character What: New Adventures[]

It is shown that Scar is very jealous of Jafar taken over the position as ruler of the evil intergalactic empire after Shadow Aaron's death in The End of Shadow Aaron. After confesses his jealously to Jafar and complains that he sure be the new ruler, not Jafar, he was consequently punished by Jafar, who levitates the tyrannical lion off the floor and sending him flying across the room. Later, Scar was one of the villains assisted Jafar's plan to attack Shadow Joe, who also make a new friend, Iris (from Pokemon). Scar and the other following villains with Jafar chase Shadow Joe and Iris through a cave that leaves to a cliff there a canyon. With Shadow Joe and his new friend cornered, Jafar order Scar along with the other villains to attack them, but Shadow Joe and Iris work together and defeated Jafar's attack squad, Scar was also caught in Shadow Joe's electric net. When Shadow Joe accidentally knock Shan-Yu into a wooden dam, which breaks and releases a flood that washes away Scar along with the other villains. However, the villains survived the flood, though Scar survived, he was not seen again afterward.

Character What: Villains Revenge[]

Scar returns in The Return: Part 2, Scar join forces with Shadow Aaron to attack Shadow Joe's base. In the base, Scar have a battle with Ben Tennyson as Ultimate Wildmutt. Scar were ultimate defeated by Ultimate Wildmutt and Scar was left unconscious and when the battle was over when the villains recite the base, Scar was taken to one of the prison cells.

In Darkness Nightmare, Scar appears in the Piplings' dream.

In Trixie In charge, Trixie (who was temporally in charge until Shadow Aaron returns) send out Scar capture Dawn, he encounter with Dawn and warm her to come with him, but she stands up to Scar and tells him to leave, prompting Scar to attack her. However, Shadow Joe intervenes before Dawn could get seriously harmed and knocks Scar down to the ground. Scar, knowing how powerful Shadow Joe is, retreats instead of fighting back.
