The Scarecrows are villains from the Character What franchise, as well as from the Doctor Who series. They were originally soldiers who serve the Family of Blood using a stolen spaceship to animated the scarecrows to do their bidding. They are later reanimated by Shadow Aaron's magic to serve as his minions.

Backgrounds

The Scarecrows were originally soldiers of the Family of Blood who used a stolen spaceship to animate and control the Scarecrows to help carry out their plans to hunt down the Tenth Doctor and strip away his powers so that the Family of Blood can live forever.

The Scarecrows was first used to abduct humans for the Family of Blood to possess their bodies to blend with the other humans to avoid suspicion.

However, the Doctor set the spaceship to self-destruct, causing the ship to overheat and explode. As result, the Scarecrows return to their inanimate state.

In a unknown period of time, Shadow Aaron recreated the Scarecrows and used his powers to bring to life to serve as his minions. Although he didn't use them very often as he does with the Daleks, Battle Droids, Shadowkhan, and Stormtroopers.

Character What: Tales

In Beast of the Museum, one of the Scarecrows appeared as a lifeless exhibit in Shadow Joe's Villain Criminology Museum when he can touring Twilight Sparkle throughout the museum. Shadow Joe revealed that he managed to scavenger one of the Scarecrows and decided to place them in his museum for display and could help people learn more about them.

Character What: Hero Force

In Spooky Hideout, it is revealed that some of the Scarecrows are resided outside of Shadow Aaron's mansion to keep a look out for trespassers as he does not want anyone in his mansion. In the episode, Cinderella and Phoenix Wright investigates the mansion, unaware that the Scarecrows were alive and guarding the house. The Scarecrows suddenly came to life and captured both Cinderella and Phoenix, and take them inside the mansion to await for Shadow Aaron to return and punished them for trespassing. However, Shadow Joe later rescue both Cinderella and Phoenix before Shadow Aaron could decide their punishment.
