~ Scooby-Doo to Velma before killing her.

Scoobert Doobert Doo III, better known as Scooby-Doo, is the main antagonist of the video Velma Meets the Original Velma created by Avocado Animations.

He is a more demonic and uncanny version of Scooby-Doo who murdered The Mystery Gang and became harmful after Velma asked how Scooby can talk.

Personality[]

This Scooby is more of a disturbing and aggressive version of the original counterpart, as after Velma started to become concerned about his nature of him being able to talk, he killed the Mystery Gang in a brutal way, including Shaggy. Each different Velma from different universes of Scooby-Doo kept remembering the incident. So he haunts them, reveals what he's done, and brutally kills them.

Despite this, Scooby doesn't enjoy murdering them, expressing remorse and claiming that he doesn't want to do so. He also doesn't seem to enjoy the newest Velma's meanness and meta remarks, calling it flawed, showing he has some slight standards.

Biography[]

Back before the events of the video, Scooby was doing the usual things as in the series: solving mysteries with his friends. However, one day Velma got curious of Scooby's nature and questioned how he could talk, much to the latter's shock. The rest of the mystery gang also started becoming concerned about Scooby's true nature, causing him to brutally maul them all to death. However, out of the “love” he had for his friends he “rebuilt” them along with the world they lived in without any memories of their old incarnations and they went back to solving mysteries together.

However, eventually Velma started to remember her past life and Scooby was forced to rekill, rebuild, and reset them and the world numerous times. But each time he did so he wasn’t able to capture their entire essence, resulting in his friends being reincarnated with slightly altered appearances and personalities compared to their original selves (resulting in the other Scooby doo spinoffs such as A Pup Named Scooby Doo, What’s New Scooby Doo?, and Mystery Incorporated). Eventually, he recreated them and the world as the “Velma” series incarnation, which he considered the most flawed version of them yet.

At the beginning of the video, Scooby takes the form of a normal dog and goes to Norvilles front door to reintegrate himself into the gang. Norville tells Velma that he found the dog outside and they have a short discussion. However, seeing Scoobys collar causes Velma to have a mental break down and start remembering her past incarnations, prompting her to leave for “fresh air”. Realizing Velma has started to remember again, Scooby kills the rest of the gang before going outside and confronting Velma. He reveals to her the truth and his disgust with her current incarnation. Despite lamenting that each version becomes more flawed due to him loosing some of their essence, Scooby proclaims that he will “get it right” next time. He then brutally murders Velma by ripping her head off.

It is currently unknown what Scooby did after the events of the video, though it's implied that he once again reincarnated the mystery gang and their world to try and get a version that he liked and/or where Velma wouldn’t remember anything (creating a brand new tv show to start the cycle over again).

Quotes[]

I didn't think it would happen so soon, it's getting worse.
~ Scooby's introduction.
I love you, you know that right? I love ALL of you. But I don't understand why you keep remembering.
~ Scooby-Doo
Scooby-Doo: We'd go solving mysteries together, it was simple fun. But you started over complicating things.
OG Velma: Y'know I never really thought of it before but...why can Scooby talk?
Fred: Now that you mention it, it is a bit...odd.
Shaggy: Yeah like what's up with that, man?
Daphne: Jeepers, Velma. You might be onto something.
Scooby: And suddenly...the fun was over, so I took what remained, and I rebuilt you. I rebuilt the world, and we were back with our classic adventures. But you started to remember...again...and again....and again.
~ Scooby-Doo revealing the truth
Scooby-Doo:I just want what we once had, yet each time I capture less of your essence. This being the most flawed world yet.
Velma: Flawed?! But we're meta now!
Scooby-Doo: Ugh...never the matter..I'll get it right...next time.

Trivia[]

  • Despite what has he done to them, he claims that he still loves the Mystery Gang.
  • His origin currently remains unknown, though viewers think he might be an eldritch horror.
  • It is unknown why he killed his gang off. Though what we can go off of is that he either wanted to keep his species a secret or was scared that if he told them his species, they would send him somewhere else.
