Scrooge McDuck is a Disney character originally created by Carl Barks. An anthropomorphic duck, this version of the character is rather villainous. He is also known by his supervillain alter-ego Masked Mallard.
Personality[]
Scrooge will most often present a positive attitude and kindheartedness towards his friends, family, and loved ones. Despite being the richest duck in the world, he claims that he is not like other wealthy individuals and serves as a role model to others. However, deep down, there is a dark side to Scrooge, whereas he is egocentric and seeks profit in questionable ways.
Biography[]
Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1867, Scrooge is the eldest of four children to farmers Fergus McDuck and Downy O'Drake. His siblings are brother Gideon and sisters Matilda and Hortense, the latter of whom would become the mother of Scrooge's favorite nephew, Donald Duck. His grandfather was Titus McDuck, a coal miner. Scrooge also has a cousin named Douglas, a prospector, and two of his several uncles include steamboat captain and author Pothole McDuck and stockyard hand Jake McDuck.
