The synopsis of the monstrous and enigmatic Serverblight from the TF2-SFM webeseries of the same name.

Biography

The Empty Server

Aaron's first encounter

Through unknown means, a Team Fortress 2 Casual server, specifically Thunder Mountain, developed the supernatural ability to slowly suck the minds of the players into their in-game characters. The longer a player remained in the server, the more they'd be pulled in, and thus the more "human" their characters could act, able to move in ways that would be impossible in-game (such as Engineer walking calmly, lip-syncing to chat messages, and taking Sniper's Tribalman's Shiv). At some point, the Serverblight appeared in the server, just before the BLU payload could be pushed to the last point.

The Serverblight apparently eliminated BLU team- without assimilating them- and proceeded to assimilate RED team one by one, soon leaving only Engineer (GUILLIESUIT), Spy (Breadolphin), Scout (directionz), and Heavy (gayfer). Additionally, the server prevented any of them from disconnecting. GUILLIESUIT had been in the game long enough to be almost fully transported into it, able to move just like a human, while directionz also displayed some abilities to move naturally. Breadolphin, on the other hand, appeared to be in the very early stages of fusion with the game, the only hint being his ability to show stress and fear that the model would normally be unable to. GUILLIESUIT somehow found out about how the Serverblight worked, and how to escape it- killing oneself. Specifically, when a player committed suicide by jumping off the cliff at the edge of the map, they would automatically disconnect, and the game would crash, freeing them from the Serverblight's threat and presumably returning their minds to their real bodies.

Soon, Sniper (dicksalot) joined the server, completely unaware of the Serverblight's presence. GUILLIESUIT promptly sent a chat message for dicksalot to "kys", which dicksalot interpreted as just usual community server banter. However, he quickly noted the odd absence of players, soon seeing Breadolphin making a beeline for the cliff, throwing himself off it and dying before disconnecting. directionz then ran over and let himself get shot by dicksalot (but notably did not display a disconnect message), and dicksalot ventured further into the map, seeing the corpse of the RED Heavy, who was presumably just killed by the Serverblight. Dismissing these oddities as "idle server bs", dicksalot quickly realized he couldn't disconnect, with Heavy suddenly being added to the amalgamation, his body vanishing.

dicksalot then met with GUILLIESUIT, disturbed by the Engineer's ability to move in non-game ways, where GUILLIESUIT told dicksalot to kill himself to leave while he still could (implying that GUILLIESUIT and directionz were in the server too long, and are unable to leave it, confirmed in the next video). GUILLIESUIT then saw the Serverblight outside the building and took dicksalot's Tribalman's Shiv, running off with it and killing himself. dicksalot then looked back and saw Heavy's arm in the doorframe- now part of the Serverblight, with the hand possessing six fingers. Upon realizing this, dicksalot took off running, the Serverblight using Medic's voice to call for help and soon giving chase. dicksalot leapt down from the balcony he ran to, the Serverblight following while calling for help in many voices. dicksalot ran across the map for the cliff, the Serverblight gradually gaining on him, but dicksalot reached the edge and jumped off before it could grab him, dying from the instant death zone at the base of the cliff. Seeing this, the Serverblight backed off as dicksalot disconnected, right before his game crashed.

Migration

The Serverblight remained in the server after dicksalot escaped, assimilating GUILLIESUIT and directionz. However, GUILLIESUIT was left only partially absorbed, appearing somewhat lucid but driven mad, the Serverblight learning how to use chat messages through him. Soon, an inexperienced Engineer (JonyDany12) joined the server, also oblivious to the Serverblight's presence. Using GUILLIESUIT, the Serverblight sent "I'm having so much fun!" in the chat, as if giving the appearance of a lively server, which JonyDany12 complimented. However, the Serverblight kept sending the same message, confusing JonyDany12, who began looking for other players. JonyDany12 then found the half-assimilated GUILLIESUIT, who was writhing atop a staircase, repeatedly slamming his face onto the floor with a deranged smile. JonyDany12, frightened, asked what was going on as GUILLIESUIT reached out for help, only for the main body of the Serverblight to start charging up the stairs.

JonyDany12 ran and then disconnected just as one of the Serverblight's hand reached out to him. As later revealed by 2IdiotGermans, the Serverblight purposefully lifted its controls over the server's disconnect functions, allowing JonyDany12 to escape just so it can learn how to properly hop servers. Now with this knowledge, the Serverblight let out an eerie "thank you" before disconnecting itself, the names of everyone it had assimilated flashing in the chat's disconnect messages, seemingly in the order they were assimilated.

SERVERBLIGHT

After an unknown time invading other near-empty servers, the Serverblight assimilated four more players into itself- TANKy, Ichgod, TNT_PRINCE, and JonyDany12. As it turns out, when the Serverblight let him leave, it managed to touch his leg, allowing it to follow and immediately start assimilating him. Of its new victims, JonyDany12 was kept partially assimilated in the same manner as GUILLIESUIT, still lucid but driven to despair, his mind tortured by the Serverblight.

Eventually, the Serverblight joined a Snowycoast community server that had just emptied to just four players following an intense RED victory. The Serverblight joined RED team, quickly assimilating the only other RED player, Demoman (SnoWDooM)- and it turns out that on BLU team was none other than dicksalot (real name Aaron), now a Soldier, who was playing with his friend Hector0n (Medic, real name Matt), the Serverblight having possibly purposefully tracked dicksalot. dicksalot quickly recognized the Serverblight due to seeing GUILLIESUIT's name in the joining messages and tried to insist to Hector0n that they had to leave, but the pair quickly found themselves unable to disconnect or kill bind. Hector0n, thinking the Serverblight was just a team of hackers, then convinced dicksalot to fight, and the pair headed out alongside an inexperienced BLU Heavy (scubamaster96) to kill the Serverblight.

The Serverblight remained hidden while the BLU team members advanced the cart down the empty server, opening pathways to reach the last point, a crashed UFO that contained an instant death zone. The Serverblight proceeded to split its component mercs off to take on the players from several angles, and early on, the assimilated directonz ran past Hector0n, who took the bait and chased the assimilated Scout up a building to get an Uber with his Ubersaw. Offscreen, Hector0n successfully killed directionz in melee- or the Serverblight manipulated the killfeed, and dicksalot found directionz seemingly dead with Hector0n apparently fine.

Later, after capturing another point, dicksalot saw directionz, very much alive but now in a more distorted, quadruped form, skittering by a tunnel like a beast. dicksalot was unnerved but ultimately let it go to follow Hector0n in checking on scubamaster96, who had been separated from the pair since the start. scubamaster96 soon came across a Serverblight component, possibly directionz, and fired two shots at it before it infected him. scubamaster96 stood still as he was quickly assimilated, starting to repeat "we go together" in the chat as dicksalot and Hector0n reached him. scubamaster96 then dropped his shotgun and revealed an arm growing out of his mouth, still repeating his chat message- which quickly changed to denote him as dead as he was fully assimilated.

Now a part of the Serverblight, scubamaster96 started screaming for help while charging at the Soldier and Medic, the Heavy's arms and fingers stretching and distorting. However, just as it cornered the pair against a wall, dicksalot called a votekick on scubamaster96, banishing the component from the server. The pair then took off running, dicksalot ordering Hector0n to forgo any fighting to just throw themselves into the pit and escape. The two soon came across the assimilated SnoWDooM, slamming his head into a post repeatedly, but dicksalot recognized it as bait and took a detour with Hector0n. Then, the pair came across the partially assimilated JonyDany12, who was laying shivering in the snow, his left leg- evidently the one the Serverblight touched- distorted and stretched under the door of the nearby RED respawn room, connecting him to the main mass of the Serverblight.

JonyDany12, tormented and thinking he was dead, asked why "heven" was so cold. dicksalot, deeply saddened by the young player's fate, drew his shotgun to put JonyDany12 out of his misery- but just before he could fire, the Serverblight burst out of the Respawn Room, roaring at dicksalot. dicksalot and Hector0n thus ran away, firing a few shots into the main mass and leaving JonyDany12 behind. They were then chased by the now-distorted SnoWDooM, only for dicksalot to blast SnoWDooM with his Direct Hit, blowing the Demoman apart. Unseen by dicksalot, SnoWDooM's gibs slid away behind him.

Regrouping near the end of the map, dicksalot, now almost fully sucked into the game as GUILLIESUIT was, realized that JonyDany12 was used as bait, explaining to Hector0n what the Serverblight was, and how dicksalot figured out that it's learning. dicksalot then realized that the Serverblight was only capable of repeating voicelines it heard...and in turn, realized that to each point he made, Hector0n replied with "what?" in the exact same tone, which was a repeat of something he said when the Serverblight first joined. Additionally, it turns out that everything Hector0n had said on the mic after fighting directionz was just spliced repeats of his previous lines, and he had acted far too calm around the distorted monstrosities. dicksalot then turned to confirm his worst fear- seeing Hector0n's voice chat icon misaligned with his character model. Presumably, he was infected during the melee exchange with directionz, and was gradually overtaken by the entity since, as he had shown visible fear while being attacked by scubamaster96 and acted as dicksalot's ally up until that moment. Now, however, there was nothing left of Matt- only the Serverblight in his model.

Assimilated Hector0n

Seeing that its cover was blown, the assimilated Hector0n dropped the medigun and began to distort, stretching its arms and fingers out as a hand came out of its mouth, using Hector0n's distorted voice to call dicksalot by name. Horrified and distraught, dicksalot fled, chased by Hector0n, who was joined by an assimilated RED Pyro and Demoman, the Serverblight using Hector0n's warped voice to declare that there was no leaving. However, just before its stretched-out fingers could reach dicksalot, dicksalot rocket jumped right into the UFO pit, dying to the instant death zone, and sending a final message of apology to his assimilated friend before being disconnected, escaping once more.

The Serverblight howled in rage as the assimilated Hector0n remained on the edge of the pit, its other components running off and distorting further. The Serverblight then retracted Hector0n's distortions, returning the Medic to a normal appearance. Through Hector0n, the Serverblight stared across the pit as a series of new players (HeadshotFraudster, I work at subway, DatChernobylGuy) joined the server, making it smile in anticipation of new prey to assimilate.

PUPPET

The Serverblight's agonized victims

The Serverblight quickly assimilated DatChernobylGuy and HeadshotFraudster, who were assigned to RED, and thus spawned directly on the Serverblight's main mass. It also assimilated another player who joined BLU as a Pyro (possibly I work at subway), and advanced on the last player, a Spy. One of the newly assimilated RED players, HeadshotFraudster (RED Sniper), awoke as part of the Serverblight, deep within its mass and unable to see the outside world. The Sniper didn't remember how he got there or what happened, his last memory being home alone. When he tried to speak or move, only Sniper's voice came out, and the player quickly found that his body had been greatly distorted- his legs were too long, his right arm was too long, and his left arm was in the wrong spot, with the other assimilated bodies all around him. As the player tried to move, the Serverblight inverted his orientation in its mass and latched its mental hold onto him, like a hand clamping onto the back of his neck, the Serverblight's grip tightening and hurting him.

The Serverblight's main mass then gave chase to the Spy, the assimilated HeadshotFraudster feeling it move like a centipede, a knee of another player jabbing into him with each movement. The Sniper then felt the cold of the Snowycoast map, just as the Serverblight jumped off a drop that caused fall damage to its components, each player letting out a pained voiceline. The Serverblight then kept stalking the Spy, rearranging its components and moving the Sniper onto his side, also giving him the ability to peek out of the gestalt at the surroundings, also allowing him to see the twisted and mangled character models fused to him. The Serverblight's grip on him tightened, using the elongated fingers of another component to stab into his neck, moving its mass to the map's central tunnel. The Sniper soon felt his body distort further, his arms lengthening as his legs bent at too many joints, the Serverblight distorting itself to fit through the tunnel.

The Spy was soon cornered in the tunnel, the Serverblight's malicious glee sensed by HeadshotFraudster. The components began their cry for help as the Serverblight charged at the Spy, the fingers in the Sniper starting to split and invade his mind. The Sniper resisted as the Serverblight ordered him to move and scream like the others, but the creature enjoyed seeing the player resist. The Serverblight then burned HeadshotFraudster's flesh on a million pixels at once, finally breaking him and making him scream like the rest. Soon, the Serverblight assimilated the Spy, and then disconnected to invade a new server.

Assimilation

At some point after leaving Snowycoast, the Serverblight, or at least, its previously kicked scubamaster96 component- arrived in a Dustbowl server, which had a full player roster and a game well underway. Now with scubamaster96 on RED team, the Serverblight assimilated every player on both teams, but kept at least one slot open for a new player to join. The Serverblight was capable of putting up a realistic-looking match, but still had trouble replicating actual player movements, leaving the "players" moving erratically and firing wildly, not actually hitting each other and otherwise acting strangely. The Serverblight seemed to have appeared when the match had exactly 20 minutes and 11 seconds left, remaining frozen at 20:11 even while the assimilated players kept the fake match going.

Eventually, a new player, Syrenix, joined BLU as Spy. In the real world, Syrenix was playing by himself in his dark basement, and didn't notice anything wrong with the match, the assimilated players repeating seemingly normal banter messages. However, his mind started getting sucked into the game almost instantly, first denoted by hearing a distorted noise of the Serverblight behind him- but when he looked back in the real world, there was nothing there. This resulted in Syrenix getting blown up by an assimilated Demoman, which suddenly let the match timer start ticking down as normal. Syrenix soon noticed more match oddities as he left spawn while cloaked, as if the RED team was simply repeating bot-like motions. He then saw a RED Sniper who appeared to be able to see him- and failed to notice that the Sniper wasn't holding his gun correctly, a sign of assimilation. However, the Serverblight component wasn't able to see through his cloak and ran past Syrenix.

Unnerved, Syrenix pressed on towards the last point, backstabbing a RED Medic somewhere along the way, leaving him undisguised. He then noticed Spy's arms superimposed onto his real-world arms, but the effect was gone when he looked away. He tried to leave the area, only to feel a hand brush his shoulder- the first of the Serverblight's influence, likely from when he killed the assimilated Medic. He then saw an assimilated RED Soldier staring at him, who promptly ducked behind cover, the Serverblight now recognizing Syrenix as an unassimilated player. Syrenix tried to ask what was going on as another assimilated BLU player captured a control point to lure Syrenix back, the Spy returning to the previous point- and finding all the assimilated players from both teams staring silently right at him, repeating chat messages. Even though he approached while cloaked, the assimilated BLU components were able to see him, allowing the RED Serverblight components to follow him. Syrenix then ran as the components gave chase, only to come across the same Soldier from before- now distorted and stretching his fingers out.

Frightened, Syrenix fled down a nearby staircase into a tunnel system, where he desperately tried to disconnect, only to find it disabled. Furthermore, he began to see the map in the real world when he tried looking away from the screen and then kept running when he heard the Serverblight chasing after him. Out of options, Syrenix tried to end the game by capturing the last point, finding it unguarded- but when he stepped on it, he saw that the capture was being blocked by an enemy. He then saw scubamaster96's distorted hand poking out from behind a crate, his thumb stretched out to touch the point and block the capture. Dropping his knife, and virtually completely in the game, Syrenix backed away as scubmaster96, now extremely distorted to an almost vermiform appearance, stretched his torso out of cover, letting out a distorted roar as he began repeating "we go together" in chat.

With that, Syrenix fell to the ground, frozen in terror as the other distorted Serverblight components closed in on him from behind. Unable to escape, Syrenix was quickly assimilated by the Serverblight, its many components mobbing him in a mass of distorted elongated hands and fingers as scubamaster96 continued to repeat "we go together". As he was assimilated, Syrenix tried to reach out for help one last time, only to see his hand start to distort, making him let out a scream that was absorbed into the distorted howling of the Serverblight. Once his mind was taken, his lifeless body was left slumped back in his chair.

Reflection

The Serverblight eventually assimilated a player known as spoogz (BLU Pyro). The day after assimilating spoogz, the Serverblight invaded a Sawmill server populated by spoogz's friends, where it stalked one of his friends, CLASSIC (RED Demoman). CLASSIC realized something was wrong when "spoogz" wouldn't respond to him and would hide every time he was seen.

Later, Breadolphin, still a BLU Spy, joined the server. At this point, the Serverblight's influence on the server was light, but Breadolphin almost slipped into human-like movements of his Spy before being interrupted by other players. The Serverblight then sent in a second component- HeadshotFraudster, who joined BLU, slinking off to a waterfall at the edge of the map and distorting into a lanky, gargantuan form. When CLASSIC and Breadolphin were distracted talking, the Serverblight struck- the hidden HeadshotFraudster reached one massive arm out of the waterfall and plucked CLASSIC into the air, swiftly assimilating him as spoogz began assimilating other players, who then turned to assimilate the rest of the server. Taken by surprise, almost all players fell while desperately trying to figure out what was happening, although a few attempted to fight back. Breadolphin ran as more Serverblight components- including Syrenix and GUILLIESUIT- joined, pausing only for a moment to see the warped spoogz assimilating a BLU Scout (No Body).

Horrified, Breadolphin reached the end of the map, unable to get out due to the solid geometry and invisible walls present. No Body, now assimilated, was then sent out to attack Breadolphin, the Scout charging at Breadolphin while screaming with his fingers stretching out. However, at that moment, dicksalot joined on RED as Soldier, running out on a bridge over Breadolphin and blasting No Body apart with his rocket launcher. Breadolphin and dicksalot then teamed up to escape the Serverblight, running across the map to get Breadolphin back to BLU spawn while trying to avoid Serverblight components. However, Syrenix lingered under a pond that the two were crossing, and when Breadolphin looked at the water, Syrenix posed as his reflection- as there were no reflections in the base game. Syrenix then withdrew, frightening Breadolphin into fleeing and leaving dicksalot behind. Syrenix- now distorted into a hulking brute-like form- then burst out to attack dicksalot while calling for help. dicksalot managed to quickly kill Syrenix with his shotgun, reuniting with Breadolphin and running off as HeadshotFraudster was used to collect Syrenix's corpse.

CLASSIC dying over and over

Breadolphin and dicksalot then cut through the control point area to get to BLU spawn, where Breadolphin wanted to cap the point, but dicksalot knew it would be too slow. Before the pair could get out of the room, the Serverblight used GUILLIESUIT to distract them, announcing its presence with a help voiceline as GUILLIESUIT, now distorted into a bulkier figure with a manic smile, walked into view- and wore the partially-assimilated CLASSIC on his chest like a sash, the Demoman continuously screaming and elongated like a worm. In full view of the pair, GUILLIESUIT slowly walked up to an incoming buzzsaw and let it tear into CLASSIC, causing an unfathomable amount of pain to CLASSIC that made him scream on the mic as the game registered him as killed several times over, but the Serverblight kept him alive.

dicksalot, angered by the monster's cruelty, insulted it as GUILLIESUIT kept smiling at him. Then, dicksalot used his rocket launcher to launch Breadolphin clean over GUILLIESUIT, before following with his own rocket jump out of GUILLIESUIT's reach, leaving the Serverblight roaring in surprise and frustration as it futilely tried to stretch GUILLIESUIT's fingers out towards them. The pair kept running across the top of the buildings, other Serverblight components moving in the shadows before the pair dropped down under a roof. As the pair shared how they both lost friends to the Serverblight (Hector0n for dicksalot, directionz for Breadolphin), Breadolphin heard something moving on the roof. He then asked dicksalot to shoot him, as they were right outside BLU spawn and he'd respawn inside. dicksalot complied, killing Breadolphin with his shotgun- only for the Serverblight component overhead, rorkesdrift (RED Pyro), to reveal itself and start stretching its arm and head down to assimilate dicksalot.

At that moment, Breadolphin uncloaked, revealing that he had pulled a trick on the Serverblight- utilizing the Dead Ringer, he dropped a fake corpse to trick the Serverblight into thinking dicksalot was alone. Now visible again, Breadolphin promptly killed rorkesdrift with a headshot, saving dicksalot. As dicksalot told Breadolphin to switch to Soldier in BLU spawn and fatally rocket jump over the fence to get his ragdoll out of bounds, the Serverblight forced CLASSIC to let out a prolonged groan on the mic that turned into a snarl, with dicksalot noticing CLASSIC's body- now back to normal and unfused from GUILLIESUIT- watching them from afar, now fully assimilated into the Serverblight. CLASSIC did not attack, simply walking away after observing the entity's nemesis for a bit.

Breadolphin emerged from BLU spawn as Soldier, and began damaging himself with his rockets, just as dicksalot saw HeadshotFraudster's giant arm reaching over a distant rooftop. Breadolphin then attempted the jump, only to gib himself with the explosion, forced to respawn to try again. Taking the opportunity, the Serverblight sent HeadshotFraudster to attack, the Sniper's elongated body towering over the map like a titan with an extra arm coming out his mouth, roaring at dicksalot. However, the assimilated HeadshotFraudster was far too slow in his giant form, allowing dicksalot to blast it to death with rockets, the colossal body collapsing as Breadolphin successfully fatally rocket jumped over the edge of the map, automatically disconnecting.

The Serverblight then had GUILLIESUIT walk out to observe dicksalot from CLASSIC's position, the two staring each other down before dicksalot replicated Breadolphin's fatal rocket jump, blasting his body out of bounds and disconnecting, once again escaping the entity. Later, Breadolphin noted that he could feel the Serverblight's pull when disconnecting, but refused to help dicksalot further out of trauma. As dicksalot cried in the real world, he could still feel the Serverblight's presence looming over him like a shadow.

Back in Sawmill, the Serverblight eventually collected its dead components. Meanwhile, another surviving player, SailerMan (BLU Scout), made it to BLU spawn and switched to Soldier, replicating the same escape as dicksalot and Breadolphin.

This video, uploaded by the real-life SailerMan instead of 2IdiotGermans, followed the in-story SailerMan's account of the events of Reflection. SailerMan, who had been trying to get footage of funny TF2 clips for a video he planned to make, continued recording during the Serverblight's attack. Confused by what was going on, he sighted the distorted spoogz and followed him into a cave, looking up just in time to see a mass of assimilated RED players reaching down to him. Frightened, SailerMan fled and remained hidden while the Serverblight hunted down dicksalot and Breadolphin.

After escaping, SailerMan uploaded his footage in a YouTube video titled "MONSTER found in tf2", which was seen by players Nexos and Sir Jonara.

PROXY

At some point, through directionz, the Serverblight invaded a Badwater Basin server. Eventually, Sigismund0 (real name Marc; RED Soldier), joined the game, the Serverblight keeping a low profile as it had its proxies loiter in spawn. During this game, Marc kept messaging his best friend, Sam, while he was trying to get an assignment done, asking him to join the game. The narrator mostly ignored Marc’s messages of how strange the game is up until Marc sends a screenshot of him taunting next to a pile of corpses. However, the narrator notices a strange BLU Scout in the background, which Marc decides to try and kill after realizing he was there.

However, due to focusing on his assignment, Sam ends up ignoring Marc’s increasingly frantic messages until he claims that “they” are staring at him. After asking if he was ok, he stopped messaging. Sam went over to check on him, knocking on the door first.

With no response, the narrator prepares to leave before taking a moment to listen in and hearing Marc choking. After the narrator bursts into the room, he sees Marc twitching and convulsing, coughing up blood like he was being electrocuted. The narrator tries to steady him and get him to speak, but he can’t. Upon trying to pry his hands off of the keyboard, the narrator mentions hearing a voice whispering behind him upon making contact, before Mark chokes out a plead for help before seemingly dying. The narrator goes to grab his phone to call for help, but he notices something on Marc’s computer. A pair of wide, psychotic eyes against the screen, staring at his corpse. The narrator freezes up, trying to comprehend what he’s seeing, only fleeing as soon as the eyes turn to face him. When an ambulance arrived, Marc was rendered comatose.

About a year or so later, the narrator plays TF2 in Marc’s memory, specifically Nucleus. And, to the narrator’s sheer horror, sees Marc’s avatar. “Marc” reaches out his hand, waiting for the narrator to take it. The narrator rapidly becomes absorbed into the game as the entity spams “You promise?” in the narrator’s DMs. The narrator manages to escape, only by jumping into the pit of acid. The narrator mourns, and ends off the story with how he has constant nightmares and how he hears and sees strange things. The voices sound like Marc, but he knows they aren’t.

Awareness

Sometime later, using Sigismund0, the Serverblight invaded a Doublecross server, but kept the Soldier's form undistorted at first as it began silently scouting around the map. It caught players unaware, infecting and assimilating members of both teams as the Serverblight started building "central" amalgamations in both RED and BLU spawns. As the battles on the bridge of the map continued, killed players would respawn directly into the Serverblight, becoming assimilated immediately. One of the remaining players, ATIK (BLU Demoman), seemed to notice what was going on (reacting 'wtf' in chat and killing RED player Snortyy), but was quickly dealt with.

As the count of uninfected players dwindled, the Serverblight sent Sigismund0 down to the map's lower bridge, where it came across two uninfected players- gods_god (RED Soldier) and the inexperienced Nexos (RED Scout), who were both following Greymatter (RED Heavy) into an attack on BLU base through the sewers. Sigismund0 stared at the pair, Nexos assuming that the Soldier was there for the healthpack that Nexos had just grabbed, taunting on Sigismund0 with a default Scout taunt. The Serverblight stood silent for a moment- and then reciprocated the taunt with Sigismund0, having the Soldier mime the default Scout taunt before running off, leaving Nexos and gods_god confused and unnerved.

Soon, as the three REDs entered the BLU base, they found it apparently devoid of players, as the Serverblight had kept its components elsewhere. However, one BLU player, theGrimJester (BLU Soldier), somehow managed to escape from the Serverblight, running right into Greymatter's group as he fled down the stairs. In a panic, theGrimJester attacked them, killing Greymatter before being killed by Nexos, resulting in both Greymatter and theGrimJester respawning into the spawncamping Serverblight amalgams and being assimilated. Deciding to finish the mission alone, gods_god and Nexos went to the courtyard to retrieve the BLU intel, where the Serverblight had posted one of its assimilated members, Panzerkampf (BLU Spy), in a high-five taunt, presumably mimicked from spying on Nexos and gods_god earlier. However, as the Serverblight was unaware of how partner taunts worked, Panzerkampf was left standing with the wrong hand up without a partner taunt actually being active, an unnatural smile on his face. Regardless, gods_god approached and tried to high-five Panzerkampf to no avail, simply default taunting over and over.

Sigismund0 and a group of other assimilated players

Nexos then grabbed the intel and began to make his way out the back of the BLU intel room- only to find the path blocked by an especially monstrous Serverblight amalgam consisting of an enlarged, two-headed Sigismund0 with multiple BLU players (including Pastra gushes) fused to him. Frightened, Nexos ran back as the amalgam reached towards him, trying to get gods_god to leave, which triggered Panzerkampf to attack. Lowering his arm in a manner impossible in-game, Panzerkampf's head split into three fused heads as he let out a distorted Spy scream, chasing Nexos and gods_god with his fingers stretching out, but was blasted apart by gods_god. The pair made it out to the upper bridge of the map, where Nexos tried to disconnect only to find it disabled- and revealed he's seen it before, being SailerMan's video. Before he could explain, the Serverblight used a Heavy's arm to reach up from under the bridge, grabbing gods_god by the leg. gods_god sobbed that he only wanted Greymatter and Nexos to be friends before being pulled down and assimilated.

Running off alone, Nexos got into RED base, where he was confronted by the assimilated Greymatter, who stood on the stairs to the spawn room with his face obscured. Using Greymatter's previous voicelines, the Serverblight tried to manipulate Nexos into going into RED spawn, where it had hidden one of its amalgams. However, Nexos realized the ruse and made a run for it, prompting the main mass to burst out and give chase. The Serverblight chased Nexos from atop the roof in the form of what seemed to be a ball of distorted bodies, scuttling on many legs, but wasn't fast enough to catch the Scout, who dove into the capture zone just as the amalgam's many arms started stretching into the room. The game was won for RED, making Nexos automatically disconnect. The game then reset to the next round, making all the Serverblight's components also reset to their default models and spawn positions as two new players joined.

Doubt

Sometime later, the Serverblight sent CLASSIC to a community server running the Well map. Joining BLU, CLASSIC walked to the map's train tracks, finding dicksalot there, who had been trying to subtly raise awareness of the Serverblight among other players. dicksalot and CLASSIC stared each other down as CLASSIC approached, only for the Serverblight to relinquish some control over CLASSIC. CLASSIC, realizing he could move his upper body, begged dicksalot for help before being killed by a train running him over. The Serverblight then disconnected CLASSIC, and dicksalot, disturbed, also disconnected.

CONSUMPTION

SAVIOR's assimilation

At a later point, the Serverblight sent Hector0n into a Mountain Lab community server, where the Serverblight began assimilating all the players- most notable among them was SAVIOR, a religious zealot who was assimilated by an unidentified RED Scout. Upon first encountering SAVIOR, the Scout chased him to a dead end and assimilated him, but SAVIOR got a glimpse into the hivemind during his assimilation, feeling the Serverblight's will to grow and "ascend" humans with its endless hunger, quickly driving him mad with the belief that the Serverblight was God. The Serverblight thus allowed SAVIOR to keep his agency, letting him become its prophet as he fused to a barnacle-like amalgam suspended over the final point.

Conviction

SAVIOR was given command over the other assimilated Mountain Lab players, and began to organize them in a cult that worshipped the Serverblight, ordering the assimilated players to pray for forgiveness and salvation, using more amalgams to create a blasphemous image of a crucified BLU Spy. Due to keeping his agency, SAVIOR remained on the mic.

SAVIOR commanded the Serverblight's components from there on, and the next day, dicksalot joined the server to track down Hector0n, who he believed could still be saved. Once he was unable to find Hector0n, dicksalot tried to leave, only to be blocked by the Serverblight's influence. He then tried to escape via rocket jumping out of bounds, but remained to try to save non-assimilated player Sir Jonara, and SAVIOR, who he did not yet know was assimilated. Here, the Serverblight components appeared to be near-mindless, floundering like infants and easily guided by SAVIOR, who drew dicksalot towards his central mass over the last point and assimilated Jonara early on. Knowing dicksalot's real name through the Serverblight's whisperings, SAVIOR invited dicksalot to join him in assimilation to be reunited with Matt, but dicksalot refused and threw himself down the pit under the point, disconnecting.

Knocks

One day, the Serverblight invaded a 2fort community server with alltalk voice chat and F2P communication banned. RED team appeared nearly empty, the only confirmed RED players being pyrogaming (RED Engineer) and an unidentified F2P RED Medic. However, BLU was full and was soon completely assimilated, forming most of the BLU players into a large amalgam.

pyrogaming eventually went to cap the BLU intel, but quickly ran into the assimilated players, narrowly escaping them through the sewers as the amalgam chased him. Getting back into RED base, he came across an assimilated BLU Medic staring at a wall, making pyrogaming run off when the BLU player looked at him. Getting up to the base's upper level, pyrogaming tried to get to the battlements, only to hear a Sniper calling for help from that direction. Suspecting the Sniper of being assimilated, and hearing the BLU Medic coming for him, pyrogaming quickly ducked into the resupply room, finding the F2P Medic within.

The pair remained stuck in spawn together for an unknown amount of time, refusing to leave as the Serverblight was unable to enter due to a lack of RED players. The Serverblight tried a few tricks to get them out, such as firing weapons, grabbing the intel, and using the voice of BLU player ChickenOnARaft. After failing to lure them out, the Blight disconnected- or at least, most of its components did, as ChickenOnARaft remained. This led to the F2P Medic exiting while pyrogaming remained inside.

Later, the F2P Medic returned to the resupply room, firing his syringe gun in S.O.S. Morse code but not entering, pyrogaming still trapped within. It is unknown if the Medic was assimilated, but implied.

A HAUNTED HALLOWEEN SPECIAL

NOTE: Since this video is just a parody of the first episode, it's safe to assume it isn't canon. So go into this one with a grain of salt.

The non-canon video parodied The Empty Server, following a player with a poor computer named pibble 2 (BLU Sniper), and instead taking place in Gorge Event. The Serverblight began by assimilating RED team again and amalgamating them into a fused form, as in The Empty Server, leaving only three players- Yourmom.com (RED Spy), Great Glue (RED Scout), and ПИВНОЙ ГРУЗОВИК (RED Engineer). As with The Empty Server, Yourmom.com and Great Glue tried to escape, only to be killed by pibble, who ignored ПИВНОЙ ГРУЗОВИК's attempted warnings.

pibble eventually came across a comically dead RED Heavy while trying to cap a point, not realizing that an assimilated RED Pyro was watching him. While pibble briefly stepped away from his computer to check on his burning chicken nuggets, the Serverblight assimilated the Heavy. pibble then went towards the final point, where ПИВНОЙ ГРУЗОВИК, moving in humanlike ways, futilely tried to tell pibble how to escape, only for pibble to kill ПИВНОЙ ГРУЗОВИК from being unnerved. Then, the Serverblight stalked to the doorway behind pibble, leaving a seven-fingered heavy arm hanging out in a callback to The Empty Server. However, pibble instead mocked the sight, making the Serverblight flip him off. pibble then kept mocking the Serverblight, lampshading the cliche message written in blood in The Empty Server, provoking the Serverblight amalgam into bursting out and chasing him, making pibble flee in terror.

As pibble ran back across the map, he realized with dread that he had nowhere to escape to, only to abruptly freeze as his WiFi gave out, making pibble disconnect from the bad connection.
