He made another pathetic and overconfident attempt to conquer the Crystal Empire, and then all of Equestria. That meant I was the winner. To be honest, I never saw Sombra as the true ruler of the Crystal Empire. I didn't even see him as a person, either. King Sombra is the epitome of all that was dark and evil in the souls of Equestria's population. He is the living force of darkness, the living embodiment of the destruction of the concept of free will. So how could I defeat him, so that I could appropriate all of his power and all of his plans for myself? I've been thinking about this ever since he gave me the status of co-ruler of the Crystal Empire, not the ruler of the Crystal Empire. Because this is the only fight where I'm willing to put my life on the line. Fight! This is a fight! A fight between the two of us. I must fight this battle until my last breath. But what can I do to him? And what can he do to me? He can create dark crystals, manipulate shadows and the power of darkness at his own discretion, can deprive absolutely any creature of will with his hypnosis, regenerate using the power of shadows. He can do all this! And I can do all the same, but still remain in the background. Why? Because I am only a secondary spawn of darkness. Perhaps, being a primary entity, spawned by the power of darkness itself, is extremely pleasant. Creatures like Sombra can constantly lead the life of a conqueror and enslave countless living and non-living creatures. I have no doubt that if I had the same status as Sombra, I would not stop leading such a lifestyle. But I cannot be guided by Sombra's behavior! It is against my established psychological nature. The forces of darkness, like Sombra's, are very attractive. These powers make you almost a god. But at the same time, you become subconsciously connected to the one with whom you emerged from the darkness at the same time. To share all your secrets, to allow them to see your hidden fears, to let them read your every thought. And this is truly good. I do not even doubt that this is good. Mental feelings must be truly beautiful. But do not try to behave with me as if I were one of your slaves, who can be deprived of any free will! You can roll back into the darkness from which you crawled out! My every thought, my every secret, every grain of my power belongs to me! Remember, Sombra, if you hear me in the afterlife, I am given to be me forever! How I envy your status! You are impeccable in your ability to subjugate others and at the same time are an exceptional self-confident blockhead who does not take any of your enemies seriously. That is why I envy you so much and do not hate you in everything. And that is why I regard you as my true sworn enemy. You have earned this status! After hundreds of years of my life, I was able to find a real and not one-time enemy! An enemy worthy of fighting for power over everything! So how can I defeat him? Wait for the hour of his triumph, and then stab him in the back? No! Because then he will simply die with a feeling of anger and revenge, and I will not be able to escape this frightening feeling for the rest of my days. This false king has an immeasurable sense of peace and enjoyment of his lazy and carefree life. But his true desire is also his greatest weakness. Shadow Freddy (aka Umbrazor) is one of the main antagonists in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Reaperverse, serving as the main antagonist of the Season 3 premiere "The Crystal Empire", as well as the Season 9 premieres "The Beginning of the End", "The End of the End", and "The Exodus of the End".
Powers and Abilities[]
Very High Intelligence: Shadow Freddy has over a thousand years of combat, strategic, and tactical experience and training for various situations, allowing him to fight with exceptional foresight and expert tactical intelligence. Even Lincoln and Shining Armor were amazed by Umbrazor's ability to instantly adapt and evolve, predicting and countering attacks with equal force while simultaneously nullifying all sorts of dangers in his direction. Shadow Freddy always lives and fights with anyone by the rule of "Think first, act later", always believing that if he were to go forward without any kind of sensible plan, he would automatically be defeated. He also has the skill to always use any flaw in the opponent to his advantage, as well as adapt his plan to almost any unexpected situation. For example, he chose to let Princess Cadance spend all her energy on creating a barrier to protect the Crystal Empire instead of wasting his energy on breaking through the defense, knowing that sooner or later she would lose the ability to hold it and destroy it herself. He also automatically and very quickly changed his plan regarding the Guardians of Haromnia from trying to defeat them to trying to contain them by sending his avatars against the population of the Crystal Empire in order to give Sombra time to obtain the Crystal Heart, knowing that his avatars would not be able to defeat the Guardians of Haromnia. Umbrazor also has a "better to retreat now, to strike later" principle, such as when at the end of Season 9 he chose to leave the Crystal Empire he had just conquered in order to help the members of the Legion of Doom conquer and destroy Equestria, in order to then rule the Crystal Empire with a calm soul. He also sent his army of avatars towards Canterlot after this, timing their movement so that if he were to lose the battle against the Guardians of Harmony or if he were forced to retreat, he would at least be able to stab them in the back with his army.

Clone Creation: Shadow Freddy has the ability to create a fully physical or semi-physical copy of himself, which he can make move and speak with his mind alone, as shown when he sends his copy to Ponyville to control the movement of its Sombra-hypnotized population towards Canterlot, despite his main body having long since left Ponyville and was controlling the copy with his mind in Canterlot.
Avatar Creation: Umbrazor is capable of creating semi-sentient avatars of himself to combat his opponents. He has shown to be capable of creating up to several hundred clones of himself at once, each possessing the basic skills and prowess of Shadow Freddy himself, in addition to their ability to adaptively fuse with the abilities of other magical beings and combine with their own abilities. Additionally, these avatars are able to record any information they gather during combat and transmit it to the Umbrazor, allowing him to better combat his opponents. However, one drawback to this technique is that the avatars do not have the same level of durability as their original, nor do they have his immortality, as seen when Lincoln and the other Guardians of Harmony dealt them various lethal injuries without much trouble, which would automatically kill the avatars.
Unlimited Stamina and Endurance: Umbrazor possesses infinite stamina and vitality, never tiring and remaining in optimal physical and mental condition indefinitely, enduring waves of onslaught as if it were nothing. In his battle against Lincoln, his arms and legs were sliced open by a sword and further damaged by flash grenades. However, he remained unfazed by the blow, even complimenting Lincoln for trying so hard to defeat him. Shadow Freddy's immense pain tolerance and endurance was most evident when Lincoln tore off Umbrazor's arms and head with his bare hands. Despite such an attack, Shadow Freddy seemed more focused on admiring Lincoln's attempts to defeat him rather than the damage he had taken from him. Additionally, throughout all of his battles, he never showed any signs of pain or agony, even after being inflicted with multiple cuts and injuries, various magical attacks, and even those caused by the Guardians of Harmony's Friendship Magic, which has been known to cause severe damage and even pain to Fantastic Creatures such as Slenderman, General Obsidians, and the Wight Lord.
Extrasensory Perception: Umbrazor possesses supernatural sensory abilities that allow him to perceive things beyond the range of normal perception. In addition to sensing the auras of both ordinary living beings and the magical auras of any Equestrian, Shadow Freddy can assess the strength or weakness of individual entities either with a single glance, using only a visual image of the target in his mind or the fact that they are somewhere near him, anticipating their attacks and weaknesses, as well as fully sensing their presence in the environment, allowing him to react to attacks from unexpected angles and blind spots. He was even able to track the movements of Twilight Sparkle and the other Guardians of Harmony towards the Crystal Empire from several dozen kilometers away from the Crystal Empire, thereby quickly developing a plan for retreat.
