Shadow the Hedgehog is a recurring character in Sonic Revved Up!! animated web series. He is the Ultimate Life Form, Sonic the Hedgehog's rival and the manager of Chaos Café.

Shadow appears to share at least some similarities in biography with his canon counterpart, given that he also was once a friend of Maria Robotnik, and strives to fulfill her wish, though he originally misinterpreted it.
Sonic Revved Up!![]
In the first episode, Sonic disturbs Shadow by jumping in front of him while t-posing, setting the place on fire. Shado puts out the fire and dries Sonic out, before telling the blue hedgehog of his plans to start a café. Sonic volunteers to help him, and together the two estabilish the Chaos Café. At first, the cafe only gets one customer, Chunky Kong, who gets into an argument with Shadow until the hedgehog suffocates him. He turns out to have been a restaraunt reviewer, and Sonic uses his account to give the cafe a high review and draw more customers in. Shadow prepares meals in record speed by utilizing the Time Stones, and everything seems to go fine until Shadow reveals that he had poisoned the food. All customers dissolve into dust, and when Sonic questions Shadow on why he would do such a thing, he claims that it's what Maria would have wanted. Suddenly, the ghost of Maria appears and explains that she actually wanted Shadow to join Super Smash Bros., which he does.
In the third episode, Sonic convinces Shadow to hire his brother Manic as a mascot for his cafe, but the black hedgehog eventually fires his new employee for disturbind potential visitors and driving them away.
Personality[]
Shadow is introverted and rude towards most people. Even when he tolerates Sonic despite finding him annoying, he doesn't hide his true feelings for his rival. Nevertheless, he still cares for Maria, willing to fulfill any wish she might have.
Shadow is ruthless in his methods, ready to kill someone just for annoying him or because he thinks that's what Maria wanted him to do. Despite keeping up a serious demeanor, and yet coming off as laughable in his attempts, he doesn't fully comprehend how to run a successful business.
