Shin Metal Sonic is a character that appears in GameToons Shin Sonic series.
He is the upgraded form of Metal Sonic after Dr. Eggman captured Shin Sonic and ran data tests where he applied the data to Metal Sonic.
Appearance[]
Shin Metal Sonic has the same appearance as normal Shin Sonic with Metal Sonic’s traits and metal skin applied to him
Personality[]
He has the same personality as his original self being loyal to his creator. He also show no cocerns for G.U.N Agents despite them supposedly being on the same side as Metal Sonic’s attacks got them caught in the crossfire in his battle with Shin Sonic.

The End of Shin Sonic[]
As Player, Knuckles and Tails were wondering in Eggman’s Eggcarrier to rescue Shin Sonic (Who was captured) when looking around they notice Shin Metal Sonic deactivated befote they were caught by Eggman's trap.
After Dr. Eggman dropped Player, Knuckles, Tails and Shin Sonic (now with his senses regained) Eggman appeara in hologram form to them where he mention during Shin Sonic’s time captured he ran tests on him and used the data to upgrading Metal Sonic into Shin Metal Sonic as Metal rockets down and begins attacking the four as he chases them.

- Shin Metal Sonic doesn’t exist (so far) in the original Shin Sonic series. Thus he is an original creation by GameToons
- Where Shin Sonic is based on Shin Godzilla, Shin Metal Sonic is based on Mechagodzilla (despite no Shin incarnation of Mechagodzilla existing).
- Metal Shin Sonic takes role cues of various Mechagodzilla incarnations where he is made from data of data of their original counterpart like Kiryu and is constructed with the purpose of taking over the world while posing as the hero to kill main character precieved as a villain in the public like the Monsterverse Mechagodzilla.
