| ~ Skreet while fighting Adam and Eve, trying to mock Adam for redeeming himself. |
Skreet is the main antagonist of the 2025 Marvel Fanfilm Universe fan made feature and presentation Adam & Eve, revolving around the two titular protagonists.
She is a dark fairy, who was once the ruler of a planet called Fairytopia in which fairies used to reside and eventually, serve as her slaves when she became ruler. However, since she had to eradicate all fairies on that planet due to them planning an uprising against her, she proceeded with her evil plans and her desire for ultimate power, destroying world after world and eventually reaching a point she wants to rule Earth or destroy it if she doesn't succeed.
She is the former boss and arch-nemesis of Adam Warlock, as well as the archenemy of Eve Bacian. She teamed up with the Kree for a while, becoming Emperor Dorrek's situational ally. After her defeat, she turns into pixie dust, but reemerges as a skeletal witch named "The Stranger". Offering her two primary adversaries to bite from her apple, their refusal caused the apple to curse her, and therefore she was turned into a statue of ashes, slowly burning and devolving while transcending limb by limb to hell.
She is portrayed by the Palestinian actress Bella Hadid, who also played as Queen Grimhilde in a fanmade Disney remake of Snow White.
History[]
Skreet was a dark fairy, but was once the ruler of Fairytopia, a planet of fairies. She would enslave the other fairies by the time she ruled, and she would make them work hard to find for her so she could acquire through them and find many treasures with meaningful powers. After many years of terror and harsh slavery in Fairytopia, the fairies, all forced for these many years to work to the bone or be killed very ruthlessly, have finally planned an uprising in order to free their planet and race from Skreet's tyranny on a massive scale. However, the fairies were all wiped out when Skreet used her newly discovered dark magic to obliterate Fairytopia completely. Skreet since then became an intergalactic conqueror, and a mass murdering tyrant, taking over planet after planet and one location after another. She took countless lives and wiped out billions at the very least, hiring Adam Warlock to assist her and brutally wiping out anyone or any planet which defied her rule. As a result of his success in conquering for her, she would even revive him after his battle against the Rocket Raccoon.
Skreet eventually found out about the existence of the unique planet Earth. Discovering about it's importance and special vibes, Skreet sent Adam at first to conquer it so she can enslave humanity. However, Adam eventually stood up to her and told her it was too hard for him to complete this mission on Earth. Angrily, Skreet swore revenge on him. Eventually, Skreet made a deal with The Kree warlord who was known on Earth as Emperor Dorrek, since he ruled a few kingdoms in Earth's territories. The deal was so she would help Dorrek take control of The Kree's forces by force, so they will help him achieve universal dominance, and in return, he would hand Adam for his treason over to Skreet. Eventually, the deal was successful, and Dorrek with his men handed Adam over to Skreet. However, much to Adam's surprise, she offered him one more time to join her forces against Earth, promising that he could gain power from it. He disagreed, and as a result, the angered fairy Skreet promises revenge and even curses him he shall turn into stone if he doesn't redeem himself truly to become a hero. However, that backfires, as Eve Bacian and Adam Warlock teamed up to save Earth for justice to spread, and therefore, The TVA changed his fate. Sent by the TVA, Loki gives Adam the powers as the new TVA leader. However, after that, and Skreet failed again in defeating both Adam and Eve in a very rough battle all while Skreet used dark magic powers to destroy millions of people magically by using darkness as a tool for ultimate mass destruction.. as all this happened, the protagonists including Loki himself were brutally attacked by Skreet, who engaged a very deadly fight with Adam and Eve, and ruthlessly put an end to Loki's life. Skreet then watches as her Kree allies, serving and accompanying their new aristocratic warlord Dorrek, enter the facility and take Adam as a prisoner for experimentation. However, before Dorrek would do any harm to Adam, he tried to recruit him as a chief enforcer, promising to help him against Skreet and willing to betray her and break a deal. At first, Dorrek did manage to convince Adam to support his scheme. When Eve came, Adam tried to kill her for thinking she would kill him first. However, when she exposes she did want to kill him until she fell in love with him for being kind and heroic, Adam finally redeems himself fully and turns on Dorrek for her. Dorrek is killed by Adam and Eve's common ally, Minerva the Accuser, who turned on her race and her father Ronan so she can save the world and be redeemed.
Skreet afterwards comes for a final fight with Adam and Eve, ready to finish them off with no mercy and get her ultimate revenge on both Adam and Eve, settling with Adam an old score. Adam however finally manages to unleash the infinite power which Loki gave him before he died from the time crystal itself, which was used by the TVA. Adam overpowered Skreet, and used his magical abilities to write Skreet's fate and turn her into pixie dust. However, due to her being a master of dark magic and a very powerful sorceress, the evil fairy reemerges as a skeletal witch, calling herself from that point The Stranger. She went with an obsessive intent of getting her revenge on Adam and Eve while she is still powerful enough. She prepares a forbidden apple to have them both cursed and vanished from life, but since Adam and Eve refused to bite after recognizing who she really is despite her new appearance, Skreet turns into a statue made of ash and burnt flesh, as she would slowly transcend to hell, limb by limb until she's all gone. It can be assumed she died shortly after this, since she was already damned and she couldn't move or escape from her newly written fate.
Personality[]
Skreet is a conqueror in her nature, willing to claim as many lives intergalactically as she can, for power and as a hobby. She was powerful enough to conquer worlds one after the other, but she underestimated Adam Warlock both as a villainous warlord and a heroic savior. Skreet seemed to be very treacherous and deceitful, promising Adam power so she could manipulate him and happily kill him brutally later, and cursing him once he had no more chances of being useful for her goals. She was heavily obsessed with revenge and power, conquering Earth at all costs, even if she had to eliminate her situational or potential allies.
Skreet was never loyal to her Kree ally Emperor Dorrek, as they were both intending to take their turn on betraying the other despite their close alliance for the while. Skreet also seemed to view the humans as weak beings and easy targets for her ambitious plans. She killed millions by using her powers since she saw they wouldn't have a chance to defend themselves without Adam and Eve's help.
She is even more vengeful and enraged towards Eve than Adam, for opposing her goals and not being able to use her for the slightest amount of time. Eve and Skreet also become rivals despite being archenemies. Also, with Eve specifically, she is more of an enemy than a type of nemesis.
Trivia[]
- Skreet is considered as one of the worst and most powerful and threatening villains of the MFU, because she was able of causing mass destruction in a very short and limited period of time, and she had lots of power but low resources comparing to many other conquerors like Thanos, Galactus or Baron Mordo. Also, while Thane and Druig had less resources and abilities to cause the same amount of chaos, Skreet did far more damage and destruction with much bigger ambitions than they ever did. Skreet is therefore one of the franchise's most evil and terrible threats, and also, a very powerful one.
- The Fanfilm's creator considers Skreet as "a dark version of Tinker Bell".
- Despite being the main antagonist of the fanfilm, the Supreme Intelligence was a much bigger obstacle for the heroes in some ways.
- Just like her previous villain portrayed by Hadid as a result of the Palestinian-Israeli war on the Israeli narrative of survival and hope, this villainess from the MFU might be considered controversial, as she is meant to reflect the atrocities of October 7th, but is also not meant to show any offense directly and is rather focused on hints and a lesson of morals.
- Also, the part in which she offers the forbidden fruit to Adam & Eve reminds not only of the biblical legend of the devil, disguised as a snake, corrupting Eve and then Adam, but it is also very similar to how The Evil Queen gave Snow White a poisonous apple after ruling an empire with her reign of terror.
