Smaug, also nicknamed Smug, is a minor recurring antagonist in the Triangle vs. Monkey series.
Appearance[]
He pretty much has the same appearance as his film self but in animated hand drawn form.
Personally[]
He also has his original self’s prideful and arrogant personality. However he also emotionally revealing he only rampaged for a 16 year nap that made him cranky. He also hates it when they mispronounce or misspell him as Smaug which angers him into correcting them, he even does it in his final moments of his neck being snapped by Mechagodzilla (2021).
History[]
Triangle vs. Monkey Season 1[]
Smaug's history remained about the same as his original counterpart until Triangle and Monkey portaled in the middle of rampage and facing Bard the Bowman. After minor bickering who to introduce first , Triangle and Monkey introduce themselves (with messing up the other's introductions) Smaug introduces himself but the two thought he said "Smug" instead of "Smaug" which him constantly correcting them but to avail since the two think he meant say "Smug" causing him to be angry and wanna right them but Triangle and Monkey didn't feel like fighting only to annoy him and break down being grouchy over being woken up from his 16 year nap and wanting to rampage. Triangle and Monkey use the Router to open a portal to leave with Smaug protesting with two saying bye (After Triangle call him "Smug the tarantula") and after they left Bard the Bowman attempt to sympathize with him for Triangle and Monkey being rude only for Smaug to kill the bowman with his firebreath in anger. Presumably continuing his rampage unopposed and destroying the Kingdom.

- Smaug is only I.P based character to have merch, appearing in a Triangle vs. Monkey coloring book, but however his name was changed to his "Smug" nickname and his design altered to not match his original self to avoid copyright issues.
- This version of Smaug is technically the only version of him to succeeded in killing Bard the Bowman and likely destroyed the Kingdom afterwards after Triangle and Monkey left thanks to the two's interference of annoying and angering Smaug into killing Bard, however because Mecha Kong pulled him out of his original world to help him and offer out revenge which would lead to Smaug's death by Noodle Neck and Mechagodzilla (2021) which prevents him from being only version of him being able to qualify as an Karma Houdini as well.
