Outbreak Malware Threat, better known as Sonic.OMT or simply OMT, is the titular main antagonist of the Sonic.EXE: One More Time/One More Round/One Last Round/One Last Round Rework fan-game series.
He is based off of the original Sonic.EXE being mysterious based-energy entity who has taken the form of Sonic the Hedgehog who tortures and kills others for his amusement. However, this version of the character is far more powerful, insane, and terrifying.
He was originally voiced by KGBepis, who voices Xenophanes, and should be voiced in OG and Rework by VOKINGFOX, who also voices Mr. L in Too Late.exe and voiced MX in Mario's Madness (V1). He is currently voiced by Xpider in Sonic.EXE: One More Time Repixelled.
He has a striking resemblance to the original Sonic.EXE, with his black eyes and giant gaping mouth. However, he makes use of his shapeshifting abilities and changes into various forms while still maintaining his Sonic image, such as a spider, a snake, or a goat.
His original design had red shoes, similar to the original Sonic and Sonic.EXE's pre-2013 design. His redesign changes the shoes to a faded navy blue and also adds claws to the ends of his feet, with additional spikes sticking out of random spots on the shoes. His arms and legs also turn black at the ends and each sports a single eyeball at the points where the limbs turn black. His tail is mostly black and splits into a pair of wavy tendrils.
OMT's true form appears as a mutant version of Sonic with multiple eyes and a wide mouth with tentacles sticking out of it, and a visage of Tails present on the right side of his chest. He has several tentacles surrounding his body and he has six legs, each ending in feet that have three claws on the front and one claw on the back.
OMT's semi-true form gives him three heads, with the head on the top sporting multiple eyes and a mouth that's vaguely X-shaped, the head on the right side of his body sporting big eyes and the head on the left side of his body sporting small eyes. He also has four arms and tentacles coming out of his neck. He has a long tail, tentacles, and teeth at the end of his torso.
OMT's second semi-true form gives him a massive spider-like body covered in eyeballs and teeth that also has arms and tentacles sticking out of the top side of his abdomen. The terrified faces of Tails and Knuckles can also be seen on the top of the abdomen. Like with his other semi-true form, he has three heads, only now the head with the small eyes and the head with the big eyes have swapped places, and the head on the right, along with the head on the top sports rows of sharp teeth in their mouths. The sketch depicting OMT in this form also shows him chasing Sonic, who has had his arms bitten off, accompanied by Spider versions of OMT with eleven eyes each as well as the ears present in his normal form, and a snake version of OMT with a snout like Sonic's and a mouth with 2 fangs on each jaw.
Personality[]
OMT is worse than his original counterpart in every way possible. He is an extremely evil, cruel, sadistic, brutal, psychopathic creature with a thirst for blood as it does nothing but merely torture others as much as possible by making the terrain creepy and unsettling and shaping his body into various monster-like forms. He is very manipulative, as he tricks Knuckles by changing his appearance to that of Tails to make him lower his guard. OMT also suffers from extreme megalomania and narcissism, as if Tails falls into the Abandoned Zone, there are many drawings and statues of his image in the area, showing his god-like complex.
Rather than simply killing people right off the bat, OMT will prolong their suffering before bringing them to their demise, therefore showing how sadistic he is. An example of this is in another ending, where he rips off Knuckles' leg and forces him to tread through a dark labyrinth on his bare hands before he finally collapses in an area that resembles the Hidden Palace. OMT then reveals that the emeralds he spent his entire life protecting are nothing but "toys" and breaks one with his Bare hands before biting off the Echidna's head.
OMT seems to have a short temper, as he will grow angry if his victims evade him longer than he anticipated. He also hates it when they "break the rules", as demonstrated when he calls Tails out for doing this seconds before burning his face in the lava. He also has no sense of patience, as he will begin to get impatient if his victims stay in one place for too long. An example of this is in a special ending, where he ends up snapping Tails's neck when the fox stays in one part of Green Hill Zone for 10 minutes.
Also, like his original counterpart, he is aware that he is in a game. However, he uses this to his advantage more often. Whenever OMT kills someone, he'll always turn toward the screen and let out his trademark laugh. He then leaves a taunting message for the player, mocking them over their inability to save the characters from their inevitable deaths no matter what they do.

History[]
There is little information about what exactly it is, it is only known that it is "a being" that comes from another dimension. However, OMT is an entity that comes from an unknown dimension, something that for humans we could call the "world". In this "world", the characteristics of each existing thing are really different and confusing. Nobody knows exactly how that reality works, but there is something that both dimensions have in common, and that is: energy, which would be the epicenter of both worlds. Life in this world is rare, it is not known how it is made, or if it is destroyed, it is only known that there are many similar entities, with different purposes, goals, etc., a new breed of beings that cannot yet be understood.
Basically, OMT as such, and like everything that is in his dimension, is energy, essentially that, his source of life. Therefore, anything that generates a massive amount of energy of any kind, OMT will be attracted, another thing to keep in mind is that the dimension OMT comes from, ours, and many more, coexist at the same time, and certain events make possible the connection between many of these. Now, let's move to our dimension.
A catastrophic event, which perplexed humanity, happened. A nuclear power plant had a collapse, something that caused it to get out of control, and explode releasing a huge amount of energy. Thanks to the aforementioned, both dimensions managed to coincide in such a perfect way that a gap was opened between the two. OMT, seeing himself attracted to everything that happened, decided to cross into our reality in search of this delicious energy.
Once crossing the gap, OMT was impressed with this reality, something new that he did not know. Curiosity invaded him, and he decided to stay to investigate more about everything. In this new reality, OMT could not manifest as anything could be due to its "form" not matching our physical laws, it could not interact almost in any way with us or with the environment, but something it could do was get into electronic devices since they use energy mainly for their use. No matter how much big or small, he could pass through it, consume that energy, and absorb it to become stronger and better.
OMT spent time learning things about humans thanks to passing through the PCs, absorbing the energy of these, corrupting everything, and leaving them useless. Soon this "error/virus" began to spread from internet forums, where they basically nicknamed it "Outbreak Malware Threat" or, to summarize "O.M.T.". He was wandering around several PCs, learning more and more about us, really his purpose was to absorb energy.
In this universe, Sonic.exe exists not as an entity but as a story. The Creepypasta that many Internet users shared in the times when terror only arose with these urban legends. The game never really existed as such, until a few years later, a boy who loves this type of story decided to recreate the Sonic.exe Creepypasta game. Nothing very special, but this will become important later.
Looking at our species made his curiosity increase. He wondered exactly how we worked, because he saw that human beings had practically infinite energy, OMT would realize this new energy called "soul", and it caught his attention. He discovered that the human body after a certain time, or due to damage, lost this energy, basically "dying". He began to have a theory, he wanted that energy for himself, so he began to see how to extract it.
He also discovered that human beings had something that affected that energy, something called emotions. These affect the performance of energy in the human body, some make that energy increase or decrease depending on the emotion, thus OMT concluded that the emotion that makes humans use more energy is fear. Fear was what kept humans alert, or made them react to a situation, and then OMT began to have a plan.
At one point, OMT came to the computer of an indie developer, one who loved horror games and horror stories from the internet, and he saw something that caught his attention. He saw a game, a recreation of the famous Sonic.exe Creepypasta, and then he had an idea and he was going to carry it out. One night, OMT began to modify each part of it game, turning it into part of itself, becoming something more digital, merging with it and using the sprite of Sonic.exe as a "physical" form, and changing it to how he thought it would look better, to execute his experiment.
The boy got up and decided to check his PC, but he realized that it was almost completely formatted. The only thing left was his game file called Sonic.exe although it looked quite different, the name was corrupted and the image of a Sonic was seen coming out of its logo in a very strange way. The boy thought it was very strange but something told him to try the game, so he sat down to play. When playing, he realized that " Sonic.exe" appeared more times than the program, with sprites that he never made. He wanted to stop playing but at that moment it was too late, OMT had it under his control, the game was essentially the same but it had things that seemed taken from something from another world, very cloudy things that made the boy more than afraid, he was filled with horror.
At the end of the game, OMT managed to absorb the soul of the boy, but here is something to emphasize. OMT did not "eat" the soul as if it were food, he did something more complicated; he put the soul with consciousness inside the world that he had created, giving it a vessel and torturing it to produce more fear, and in turn, converting it into energy to make OMT stronger. After that, it was sent through more computers, taking more and more souls for him, and learning new ways to cause fear... but something inside OMT had changed. All of this began to cause him pleasure, and happiness with the acquisition of more and more energy than he had ever felt. He began to enjoy being more sadistic.
The Hunt Begins[]
At an unknown point, Miles "Tails" Prower, better known as just Tails, was exploring Green Hill Zone and noticed several damaged Badniks fleeing in the other direction. Confused, he ventures on ahead and eventually runs into Sonic, or so he thought. The "hedgehog" was chewing on a dead flicky in his hand before he turned around and noticed the fox, flashing a maniacal grin in doing so, exposing his true nature.

Energy Entity Physiology: Due to being sentient energy that resides and takes the mantle of Sonic.exe, he displays otherworldly powers that consider him almost all-powerful inside his world, to the point where escaping or defeating him is almost impossible.
Reality Warping: OMT can manipulate and alter reality around him as he pleases, notably when he uses it multiple times in the series more than once.
Universal Merging: After OMT has been merged with the game world, his Sonic form is just a "physical" form that he decides to take, and this is reinforced when OMT claims to be the universe. He can distort the reality of the game to the point of being considered a god, thus he is the universe itself.
Immortality: OMT cannot be killed by normal means and he said he could play with the souls of his slaves forever endlessly.

OMT appears in the sprite animation video called Friendly Enmity by dooblajicoo as a supporting character. He is served as a supporting character of the sprite animation series.
Trivia[]
At first, It was theorized that OMT is the Devil himself, mainly due to the three primary forms he uses in One Last Round, those being a spider, a snake and a goat, three forms that are associated with the Devil in various mythologies, with the latter two being heavily associated with Satanism and the original story of Adam and Eve, however, Mr. Pixel confirmed that OMT and The Devil are not the same person
Some of the ways OMT kills the main characters reference how they died in the original 2013 game made by Crimson, such as Tails trying and failing to outrun the demonic entity and Knuckles attempting to fight him head-on.
However, they are slightly tweaked in One More Time, as Tails can outrun OMT if he gets enough speed and Knuckles will actually be able to throw a punch at him rather than suffering a mental breakdown.
It's possible that instead of making himself look like Sonic out of idolization, OMT does it to mess with his friends.
Sonic.OMT strikes a few similarities with Lord X. Both are future versions of the original X, However, Lord X seems to be more accurate to his lore as well as things like the seven guardians or The Cult of X which OMT lacks.
OMT has been considered by many to be the best incarnation of Sonic.EXE due to the remarkable amount of effort that Mr. Pixel has put into the game and not solely relying on typical horror clichés such as jump scares to frighten the player.
Mr. Pixel revealed that despite his immense power, OMT is not invincible in response to a question on Twitter.
OMT's favorite victim to torment is Tails, as revealed in a Q&A.
Various other EXE characters have made cameos in One More Round, such as EYX., Fatal Error, and Lord X. OMT is aware of this and is put off by it.
OMT fought and won against White.pdn in the last round of an event called Exe Tournament.
It was stated by Pixel on Twitter that the actual fight ended in a draw.
Mr Pixel is friends with White.pdn creator.
One of Sonic.OMT's official voice actors (SuperMarioJustin4) did a semi-official collab with CobaltCrusher17 (an official One Last Round/One Last Funk developer), in which he took a bunch of viewer's comments and read them in OMT's voice. While being done by one of OMT's voice actors, nothing said in this video has been stated to be canon by Mr. Pixel or any other dev member. Therefore, things such as Sonic.OMT's knowledge of Five Nights at Freddy's, Garfield, Adventure Time, Better Call Saul, or Lego Ninjago is up for debate.
This also means that OMT's knowledge of other exes such as X and Crimtake is also up for debate.
