Sonic the Hedgehog is the titular main antagonist of The Sonic Bootleg Tape from 1995, a YouTube horror video made by RodrigoJogos which is a re-take of The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Episode 66 creepypasta.
He is a version of Sonic from a 1995 bootleg tape of the animated series The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog created by Vidtape Inc. who becomes insane after killing both Scratch and Grounder, with only one goal in mind, finally destroying Dr. Robotnik before killing everyone across Mobius just for his own pleasure. On his way to Robotnik's lair, he brutally murders his minions before eventually catching up to him as his body is mauled, but remains alive.
However, Sonic wouldn't stop there, as he would then kill his own best friend Tails, who witnessed what Sonic had done around Mobius. Eventually, after suffering from many hallucinations from the ones he had murdered, he decides to take his own life by jumping off the cliff to his death.
Appearance[]
Sonic the Hedgehog's appearance remains the same as his original counterpart, being a blue, anthropomorphic hedgehog with a light yellow muzzle and belly. His head and back are covered in quills, which are instrumental in his buzz saw attack. He always wears the same red and white pair of shoes, which are heat-resistant and necessary for his incredible running ability. He also wears gloves and seems to have conjoined eyeballs with black pupils. When insane, his eyes are black rings.
Personality[]
Prior to killing both Scratch and Grounder, Sonic's personality was the same as his original counterpart, determined to stop Robotnik's plans with his best friends such as Tails and taking down his minions.
However, after he killed both Scratch and Grounder, he becomes insane upon witnessing their corpses, now growing pleasure from killing everyone around him, even saying that it feels good for him. This ultimately results in Sonic becoming a merciless, brutal serial killer who severely mauls Robotnik and even murders Tails to leave no witness around his killing spree.
Despite his insanity, Sonic still keeps his original self's memories, as after seeing what he had done to his own best friend and other people on Mobius, he is shown to fear for his life as he attempts to escape the hallucinations of his deceased friends. Ultimately, feeling guilty and remorseful for what he had done, he decides to commit suicide so he would not have to face any more consequences.
Biography[]
Sonic is first seen speeding around Mobius with Tails. Eventually, they come across Scratch and Grounder, two of Robotnik's minions, who start pursuing them through a bunch of geysers. Cornered by a cliff with a pool of lava below, they are about to be attacked by the two minions, but Sonic notices that they aren't good in hiding, as they were simply hiding behind water rising from a nearby geyser. He dashes towards them as they are ready to nab him with a bear trap and a net, but they are quickly beaten up by Sonic.
However, much to Tails' shock, Sonic had severely beaten them up to death. He then starts to tremble, with visible insanity on his face. Tails asks him what's happening, but the latter replies that it feels so good seeing them dead as he declares that he will finally destroy Robotnik, leaving Tails concerned about Sonic's deteriorating sanity, as he dashes away to Robotnik's lair.
Once he reaches the lair, he starts brutally killing everyone on his way towards Robotnik. Desperate, he tries to inform Scratch and Grounder about his presence, but to no avail. As he notices that both Scratch and Grounder were killed and that Sonic had ruined his plans once more, he is suddenly ambushed by Sonic, who knocks him down. Robotnik is pleased to see his nemesis, but Sonic knocks him into a wall as he falls into the ground. Begging for help as Sonic approaches him, Robotnik notices that his Badniks have already been killed, much to his horror. Sonic then spindashes on Robotnik's body, violently mauling him as blood splatters. Believing Robotnik to be dead, he laughs maniacally and runs off, though it is revealed that Robotnik is still alive despite the severe wound on his belly, but now left inside his burning lair.
Later, in a forest, Tails finds out that Sonic had murdered several animals across Mobius and, encountering him, starts to berate for what he had done, slowly making him succumb to his insanity completely as he says that he can not take it anymore, before knocking Tails to a tree as he starts laughing maniacally again. Sonic then brutally murders Tails off-screen and throws his corpse down into a river. He later wakes up, finally regaining his sanity back, but he eventually comes across a shadowy figure, which is none other that the reanimated corpse of Tails, who wants revenge on him for his death as well as for what he had done on Mobius. Sonic attempts to run for his life, only to encounter the reanimated corpses of Scratch and Grounder as well, who also seek revenge against Sonic.
As he is attacked, Sonic gets several flashbacks of himself with Tails as the best friends they used to be, but he then looks at the viewer, saying it was all of his fault for all the murders he caused. Brutally injured and barely able to get up, Sonic starts panicking as he gets more flashbacks, showing how he was with Tails ever since he was a baby and had always been best friends with him since then. Realizing everything he had done to his best friend and everyone else, he looks at his bloody hands, before covering his face in guilt. No longer handling the guilt of his actions, he goes to a cliff and jumps off from it, plummeting down to the ground as he dies instantly, committing suicide as a pool of blood forms below his corpse.
