Sonic the Hedgehog, also known as The Real Sonic, is the overarching antagonist of the British YouTube channel Mashed.
He's a version of Sonic from an alternate universe who, through mysterious means, wound up losing his friends. Obsessed with rebuilding his family, he's responsible for all the events that happened in "There's Something About Amy" story in Chapter 1 of "There's Something About" series, being the one to send the deranged version of Tails from "Secret Histories" to Amy's world so that she could be part of his ever-growing ensemble of corrupt allies in order to destroy any and all realities with "fake" versions of himself.
He's voiced by Chase Corbin (better known online as Coffinjockey), who also voices Sonic in many others like in There's Something About Knuckles, Super Mario Anime Kart (Lap 2) (Only in Sonic's small cameo as one of Toad's hallucinations when being high), Sonic: Honey I Shrunk the Hedgehog, Sonic, Mario & Kirby: HERO SWAP!, Sonic's Last Life and Sonic's Last Life (Part 2), and Ready Player Two X The Chalkeaters (Mario & Sonic Song).
Also voiced other characters like Dave, Bullet Bill, Bob-omb and Thwomp in Peach's Waifu Wonder Crown, Little One and Coco the Loot Bug in Lethal Company: Bug Out!, the Talking Flower in Floweratouille (Super Mario Bros Wonder) and Floweratouille 2 (Super Mario Bros Wonder), HD1, HD2 and Corporal in Helldivers 2 vs Monty Python, Helldiver in HELLDIVERS 2 vs THE UNKILLABLE BUG!!!, and Shadow the Hedgehog in Shadow or Cake (From the YouTube Shorts series "Mario or Cake")
Appearance[]
In his base form, Sonic takes on a similar appearance to his canon counterpart, being a blue hedgehog with large spines, green eyes, and red shoes with golden buckles. Unlike his main counterpart however, this version of Sonic's spines are noticeably longer and his fur appears a little darker, his gloves also have golden lining on them alongside two large golden bangles. Alongside that he wears what he calls "super speed armor" consisting of two golden buckles that go around his chest and a large red orb in the middle. Finally, he is shown wearing a black skirt alongside a white belt with a golden buckle.
In his super form, Sonic dawns golden-yellow fur with white, golden eyes and a halo hovering above his head, his spines sticking in the air similar to mainline Sonic's super form.
Personality[]
As of now, not much is known about Sonic's true character. From what is seen in his debut episodes, he appears to have a generally calm disposition, speaking in a polite tone when addressing Amy and generally serves as a contrast to Tails' more unstable personality. Despite this however, Sonic is implied to be just as insane as his partner, and is simply better at hiding it. This is seen by the fact that not only does he have the same desire to destroy all universes with a "fake" Sonic in them, but also having a hint of possessiveness to him as well, mentioning to Amy that he had already lost her once and that he wasn't going to let her go again.
To emphasize this point more, Tails reveals that he had been the one to send him to Amy's world in the first place, while he's not explicitly implied to have instructed the fox to turn Amy into the monster she became, he was nevertheless proud of the result, saying that she was "The Amy of Amys". He's also the one to convince Amy to infiltrate Knuckles' world and corrupt him into becoming a kaiju before eventually destroying it, only lending more credence to the idea that despite how jovial he may act, he's just as crazy and obsessed as Tails is.
He's also shown to be manipulative, roping Amy into his any Tails' scheme of destroying all realities with a "fake" Sonic in them and helping put together a corrupted version of all of his friends by stating that the fake Sonics were "deceiving them" and "denying them their truth".
Which sonic would fall and act like his evil counterpart Scourge from the Archie comics reference all it takes it one bad day and you be just like me which scourge words did made him just like him all together.
Biography[]
Past[]
Not much is known about Sonic's backstory as of now. However, according to him, he used to live amongst all his versions of the main cast before they were mysteriously killed via an unknown cause. Out of guilt (supposedly) from not being able to save them, this Sonic managed to find a way to gain access to a greater power which not only gave him many powerful abilities, including that a permanent super form and even greater speed, but he also created a way to travel to other universes using a power source known as the well. Some point during his journey to power, Sonic met the deranged, ax-crazy version of Tails we see in the series, and the two of them became allies working to put together the perfect family, starting with Amy.
There's Something About Amy (Part 1 - Part 5)[]
Sonic doesn't make a proper appearance for the first three episodes of the series, however it is revealed by Tails that he had actually been the one to send him to Amy's world in order to retrieve her, revealing that he had been the one behind the first season of the series all along.
Sonic makes his debut in part 4, where after testing Amy in combat with several instances of Metal sonic, reveals himself to her, stating that he was "her Sonic", the one she was brought here to see. When Amy questions why he had done such a thing, he reveals that it had been a test in order to see if she was strong enough to accompany him and Tails on their mission, her performance of which she managed to destroy them all with minimal effort convincing him that she was indeed "the one" and that she was ready to assist them in their cause.
In the following episode, Sonic leaves Amy to go with Tails to show her around her new home. Leading her to the Well and revealing it to be the thing that allows them to travel to other universes, after Tails has a meltdown involving the "fake" versions of Sonic, Sonic himself once more enters the scene via a floating computer screen. Sonic then reveals that, despite Tails' manic way of viewing their cause, he is ultimately right about the fact that the multiverse is filled with fake versions of Sonic that need to be destroyed, which is why they require Amy's help in order to rid the multiverse of all of Sonic's impostors. Asking Amy if she would be willing to help them, she accepts, leading to the events of There's Something About Knuckles.

Like Tails, Sonic is not seen physically in this series, instead being the one to instigate its events by convincing Amy to go into Knuckles' world and pretend to be his conscience so that she can corrupt him into become the next part of their family, something which he ultimately succeeds in doing thanks to Amy's help.

- He is similar to Scourge from the Archie comics Sonic the Hedgehog comic series, as being the evil alternate universe counterpart of the mainline Sonic, who suffered from some traumatic experience which altered him from the main version and seeks to destroy him.
- For some weird reason, before his official debut in "There's Something About Amy (Part 4)" many fans were speculating that he'd be Sonic.exe or another Sonic.exe variant like Subterfuge (2017x)
