Spamton G. Spamton, also known as Spamton GIGA is the main antagonist of the Deltarune fan game, A Different Snowgrave.
In an alternate timeline where Noelle freezes Kris instead of Berdly, Spamton learns of Queen's massive robot and hijacks it. With his new body, he tries to prevent Noelle and the soul of the player from sealing the fountain, intending to continue his reign over the Cyber World.
Biography[]
Much like his original counterpart, Spamton would give Kris the thorn ring for their massacre across the Cyber World, freezing countless people using Noelle. However, after they fought Berdly, Noelle would freeze Kris instead, encasing them in a block of ice.
Spamton would listen into Queen and Berdly's conversation after they tried to help Kris, hiding behind a piece of cardboard. He would learn of Queen's massive robot, learning of the weapons equipped to it that could probably help him in his hegemonic plans. Spamton would immediately run to her mansion and find the robot, uploading himself into it and taking full control over it.
Soon after, Spamton would confront Noelle as she and the player's soul began to approach the fountain in his new mechanical body. At first, he was surprised to see Noelle instead of Kris, but would sound begin to congratulate her for helping him and introduce himself. Spamton would quickly realize that Noelle was most likely going to seal the fountain, effectively destroying his reign across the Cyber World. Noelle tries to freeze Spamton with her Snowgrave ability, but she fails. With this, Spamton tries to kill Noelle with his new flamethrower, only for her to get saved by the player's soul after it turns yellow and fires back.
Spamton would fight both Noelle and the player, taunting her throughout the fight. Spamton would prove himself to be incredibly strong, but Noelle could defeat Spamton by slowly freezing both his head and arm and then cast Snowgrave, ultimately damaging the robot. Once both Spamton's head and arm were destroyed, he would reveal the core inside of his chest, launching multiple Spamton heads after the player in order to kill them. Noelle would begin freezing Spamton's core, causing the robot to throw pretty much everything he had at her. Finally, after even more attacks from the power-hungry salesman, Noelle would freeze Spamton's core, making him weaker than ever. Spamton would cast a few more attacks in one last attempt to kill her, but eventually, the player would blast into the core for a final time. However, this wasn't the end, as Spamton had one more attack up his sleeve, blasting them with his core. Before Spamton could finally kill them both, however, Noelle would cast Snowgrave one last time, destroying the large robot.
With Queen's robot destroyed, Spamton would emerge from the scraps of the robot and would find Noelle on her knees. Spamton would knock her down with his arm gun, telling her he had become incredibly fed up with her. He points his gun at her and tells her that every action she took has consequences and that everything around her would fall apart. Noelle would begin to back away, frustrating the deranged salesman even more. Spamton would taunt Noelle by claiming "she would never go to Heaven" and that he could now rest easy by knowing he gave somebody "the biggest shot of their life" before laughing psychotically. With Spamton distracted, Noelle killed him with her IceShock.
Personality[]
Much like his canonical counterpart (or at least what is presented in the Snowgrave Route), Spamton appears to be a power-hungry opportunist who will do anything to achieve his goals of becoming a "BIG SHOT" and taking over the Cyber World, though he does appear to be somewhat more wicked.
He is about as insane as his original counterpart, having a limited grasp of what is right and wrong, likely due to the fact he's still not fully in control over his actions at times, though it does still seem that Spamton's egotistical and power-hungry personality entirely comes from him. His moods do also seem to change pretty quickly as well, given he quickly went from congratulating Noelle for helping him to becoming furious with her trying to seal the fountain.
He is very clearly an egotist who cares about his own image greatly, boasting about how his sales have been going and how his face has become plastered across the Cyber World. That being said, his egotism does seem to be driven by his own insecurities; when Noelle doesn't recognize him, Spamton seems to briefly panic, becoming afraid that maybe he wasn't "big enough". When he realizes the fountain will probably be sealed, Spamton begins freak out, realizing this may indeed ruin his reign over the Cyber World which he had work so hard to achieve, further fueling his insecurities.
Throughout their fight, Spamton sadistically taunts Noelle, asking her who she thinks will save her. When he asks if she thinks Kris will save her, he mocks their presumed death that she was responsible for, referring to them as her "good old childhood chum". He will then tell her that there was nothing she could do, with what happened to Kris being a price of her power.
During their final confrontation, Spamton seemed to be incredibly fed up with Noelle and the player, claiming all of their actions had consequences and that everything would fall apart no matter what. This could indicate Spamton has somewhat of a nihilistic way of thinking.
Appearance[]
After uploading himself into Queen's giant robot, Spamton appears to be a massive version of his NEO-self. He has a pink and yellow torso with a blue core hidden underneath his chest, seemingly being the source of his power. His arms are entirely pink and he has pink and yellow pads on his arms that appear to be pointed. One of his arms also appears to have a flamethrower attached instead of a hand that shoots flames. He also has massive pink and purple wings located on his back, though he doesn't seem to ever use them. Spamton's head is entirely white, though he does have black hair. His face appears to have a permanent grin on it that never changes and he wears glasses with one pink lense and another yellow lense.
Trivia[]
- Several of Spamton's lines reference parts of Undertale, such as when he asks Noelle "DON'T YOU KNOW [how to greet a new pal]?" and says "[You Idiot]!" after she attempted to freeze him. Both lines were originally Flowey's, the main antagonist of the game. One of his bracketed texts towards the end of the game also mentions the eightieth soundtrack on the official Undertale soundtrack, Finale.
