The Spatula, also known as Spat among other names, is an object used by SpongeBob SquarePants and turned out to be a living thing in "All That Glitters". His goal is to help the Krusty Krew and Krusty Krew II turn people into krabby paties and sell them. Spat did not appear in "Help Wanted", as that was the appearance of a hydrodynamic version of him. Spat himself first appeared in "Plankton!".
Appearance[]
Spat is an average silver spatula that shines quite a bit. There are three holes in the flipping area and the handle is a soft black material. Spat also comes with a built-in ballpoint pen, as seen in "The Original Fry Cook." Spat can withstand burning heat, meaning he is made of quite strong material. Spat does not have any buttons or added contraptions but he always gets the job done every time, mainly flipping Krabby Patties. In "The Splinter," Spat is shown to have a built-in key which is used to access ingredients in SpongeBob's pants. Spat also been shown to be sentient at times indicating he is alive.
