Spike T. Dragonowitz (also known as Spike) is one of the seven main protagonists of PONY.MOV

He is a baby dragon who is portrayed as a stereotypical stoner with a teenaged male attitude. Despite the fact that he is a stoner, he is probably the only normal character in the series. He is also the only character who has appeared in every episode. (Although "Watch out, Ashleigh" is the only PONy.MOV video where he was absent) He was voiced by Max Gilardi, who also voiced Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy and many other characters.

Appearance[]

Spike is a dragon with purple scales covering most of his body, the exception being a greenish strip that runs from his bottom lip from down his chest to the underside end of his tail. When Spike grew his wings, the membranes were the same color as his belly scales, while the top parts matched the rest of his scales. Spike has green eyes, green ridges of spikes on top of his head and along the top of his tail, and light green ear fronds. He has two fangs that stick out from beneath his top lip, giving him the appearance of a slight overbite.

Personality[]

Spike is often portrayed as crass, sharp-tongued, and slow-witted as a result of his reliance on drugs. This has caused him to become jaded and cynical, leading to a lack of respect for authority and those around him. He is also known for his impulsive behavior and disregard for consequences, often making decisions that are reckless and dangerous. Despite this, Spike has shown moments of compassion, loyalty, and bravery, proving that beneath his rough exterior lies a kind heart.

Trivia[]

Spike's voice and mannerisms and similar to Mickey the Dick's (who is also voiced by Max Gilardi).
In PARTY.MOV, it is revealed that his full name is Spike T. Dragonowitz.
Spike has appeared in every single episode of the PONY.MOV series. The only episode he made a non-appearance was in Watch out, Ashleigh.
It's unknown who his girlfriend is (it's most likely not Rarity).
He's also star in his own spin-off show called "SuperSpike" (a parody of SuperTed).
He, along with Twilight Sparkle, is the only character who doesn't suffer a misfortune in his own episode (despite his episode being non-canon).
At some conventions Max Gilardi shows up at, he is usually seen wearing a Spike hat.
