Springtrap (William Afton) is a secondary character of AndrewJohn100's series, Freddy Fazbear and Friends.
He is the father of Circus Baby (Elizabeth Afton) and the creator for most animatronics. He is also a former CEO of Afton Robotics and Fazbear Entertainment until he was springlocked. He was later brought back to life by Puppet during his exploration in Fazbear's Fright and he was purfied (Till Evil Comeback) and is still currently sided with The Fazbear Gang.
He is currently voiced by MycG023 who also voice Nightmare Bonnie.
Personality[]
Springtrap is a really kind, caring and wise animatronic. He's known to be the most reasonable person in the pizzeria. Due to his old age and the many mistakes, he made prior to being redeemed. He shows good care to his daughter, Circus Baby and does his best to protect her from all means such as the nightmares. This is because how she is the only child he reunited with. He is also seen as a skilled mechanic and sometimes an inventor as he made a time machine for Withered Freddy and repaired the Glamrock's tour bus.
Before that, he was once a former sadistic heartless killer named William Afton who killed five children and only cared to see people suffer. His persona faded after Puppet purifies him but this doesn't last until Evil Comeback, due to bad programming that not only contains fabrics of his past but also reverts him to his evil persona. After the programming was knocked out of his suit, he returned good once more.

Villainous Acts[]
- In the Pre-Series, Springtrap as William Afton murdered five children and according to Puppet in AndrewJohn100's FNAF Character Q&A, the bodies were never found.
- In Springtrap's Rat Lesson, He makes various attempts to get rid of the rat that has ruined his lunch. His plan backfired upon discovering that the rat he had killed was from a family of rats and they threw food at him.
- In Zombie Springtrap, he aggressively "attacks" Chica when she is about to eat his leftover pizza. As he can't speak due to an overdose of the medicine for his sickness, he couldn't explain till Freddy told Chica.
- In Exotic Rush, he appears as a hallucination as his past self, Spring Bonnie, who teams up with the rest of the hallucinations on hunting down Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon as revenge for disturbing him in the bathroom and gives them an option to join him in comitting tax fraud with him before changing his mind to assault both him and Bon bon only to vanish when Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon came back to their senses.
- In Evil Comeback, his purfication wears off, turning him back to his evil persona. He destroys all the cameras in the restaurant. When Withered Golden Freddy was assigned to stakeout during the night. Springtrap attacks him and kills him before he attacks the rest of the withered animatronics, causing more damage to them. The Fazbear Gang then encounters Springtrap and engages in a fight with the latter successfully knocking out Golden Freddy, Puppet and Bonnie, injuring them in the process. Before he can kill Chica first, Freddy ragefully fights back and defeats him. Golden Freddy was about to finish off Springtrap but was discovered that he had become good again after the bad programming was knocked out of his costume.

- He along with Circus Baby are the only two animatronics that are confirmed to possessed by people who died in pizzerias.
- Springtrap and Golden Freddy are brother figures because they started out as two golden animatronics working together or some reason.
- He is 46 years old and is also the oldest animatronic in the series.
- He is Andrew's Favourite FNaF 3 Animatronic
- Springtrap cannot do backflips.
- Interestingly, MycG023 voices Springtrap in the HottestDog video, Special Strike Rebellion.
- It is revealed when Springtrap and Golden Freddy played The Fazbear Massacre that Springtrap was once named Spring Bonnie back at Fredbear's Family Diner and he changed his name to Springtrap after Puppet purify him.
