Spunky is the main antagonist of the first feature film The Beanie Babies movie, she is an arrogant and sadistic cocker spaniel who wants to get rid of Stretch and his friends, she is Stinger's former minion and former friend of Strut's mentioned in Beanie Babies 2 because she broke up with Strut's partnership.
Spunky is voiced by Rachel House in the first film as an adult and Candi Milo in the third film as a young pup.
Biography[]
The Beanie Babies Movie/History[]
She 1st appeared when she reveals her plan to eliminate Stretch and his friends, throughout the film She was stalking Stretch and his friends and was about to strike when Pinky lunged at her, only to get thrown off of her, causing Pinky to zigzag all over the living room. Unfortunetly for her, Spike arrived and sent her flying out of the house, with a cowardly Stinger, following her out of fear. She appeared in the final showdown, preparing to attack Stretch and his friends. After the final battle, she comes dangerously close to defeating Stretch only for her to get easily defeated by Gracie who flung Spunky to the roof, then falls down dazed. Before Stretch and his friends can go back inside, Spunky kidnaps Pinky and holds him hostage, threatening to strangle him, if Stretch and his friends don't get out of her way, but not before Pinky knocked her unconscious with his feet. Spunky was last scene entering the room and swearing revenge on Stretch and his friends, only for Stretch to warn her about the crocodile. Spunky at first doesn't believe him, until she saw it with her own eyes. Realizing too late that she is doomed, Spunky ends up being eaten alive and swallowed, proving her death.
Beanie Babies /Flashback[]
Spunky appears in the film as a young puppy in Stretch's childhood, In the year of 1978, when Stretch the Ostrich was skipping along his merry way and saw Strut and Spunky bullying and harrassing a little monkey named Schweetheart. When Stretch defends Schweetheart, Spunky mocks Stretch on his arrival, Stretch warns her and Strut to let him go, but she laughs at him, after Strut insults Stretch. Stretch then jumps high into the air and kicks Spunky and Strut off of Schweetheart. He then warns Spunky and Strut to get out of here or they'll answer to him, which they do. As Spunky and Strut flee from the house, Schweetheart thanks Stretch for rescuing him from Strut and Spunky.
