Squidward Tentacles is the titular main antagonist of the 2023 indie horror game Sinister Squidward. He is a parodied version of Squidward, being much more heinous than his mainstream version, trying to kill all of the Bikini Bottomites due to them being annoying, and then ultimately killing himself too.
His voice lines seem to be AI generated.
Biography[]
At the beginning of the game, he wakes up miserably again, with suicidal thoughts. Before he commits suicide, he plans to kill everyone in Bikini Bottom. He then goes to the Krusty Krab and grabs an AK-47. He starts killing everyone in the Kursty Krab, then going to Mr. Krabs' office to kill him and steal his money.
Squidward's killings make it to the newspapers and he is shortly arrested after, although he somehow breaks out of prison. Squidward then makes it onto television, with the Realistic Fish Head reporting about Squidward escaping law enforcement and kidnapping SpongeBob and Patrick. The Chum Bucket also reports an increase in sales since the incident, too.
Sandy finds out about SpongeBob and Patrick's kidnappings, and heads to SpongeBob's house to save them. Squidward roams around the house, and if Sandy is spotted, Squidward kills her with his clarinet and starts maniacally laughing. Sandy's objective is to avoid Squidward and rescue SpongeBob and Patrick.
In one room, Sandy can hear Patrick in another room, screaming in pain, with what sounds like blood splashing. However, Sandy cannot go into the room due to it being blocked. Sandy finds a crowbar and breaks down the door to the room with Patrick in it. In the room, Patrick is seen having is body being cut by a saw, a torture device by Squidward. Sandy turns off a lever in SpongeBob's room and turns of the machine. Patrick is then safely led out of the house by Sandy.
Sandy then finds a secret room behind the bookshelf and finds a ladder. Sandy uses the ladder and goes to the second floor of SpongeBob's house. Sandy then finds SpongeBob's torture room. SpongeBob is in a torture machine, and tells Sandy that he thinks the machine will split him in half. Squidward then starts walking to the torture room, and Sandy hides. Squidward then activates the torture machine, stretching SpongeBob's body. SpongeBob then starts screaming, leaving Sandy to find a way to turn the machine off. Sandy finds a bucket and a red wrench in one of the rooms. Sandy then destroys the machine after filling the bucket with water from the bathtub and going back to the torture room using the bucket and wrench, freeing SpongeBob.
All of a sudden, Squidward comes into the room, and exclaims how SpongeBob has ruined his plans again. Having his final plans failed and having nothing else to do, he grabs his clarinet and stabs himself, killing himself on the spot.
