| ~ Stalingrad showing his hatred towards BLU, a trait that he would conserve in his undeath. |
Mikhail/Misha, also known as Stalingrad or as The Russian in the screenplay, and formerly as the BLU Heavy Weapons Guy is one of the three secondary antagonists (alongside The Butcher and The Hunter) of the 2023 YouTube psychological horror SFM movie, Emesis Blue.
Formerly the BLU Heavy Weapons Guy, Stalingrad now works for the Conagher Brothers, two sadistic Engineers who run the Conagher Slaughterhouse and the horrors that it houses. That was until Detective Jacques Murnau and his personal assistant Jane Doe discover his betrayal, using him as their only lead towards the true nature of Jules Archibald's disappearance. Mikhail is killed by Jane in an altercation with Jacques, leading him to be resurrected by the Conagher Slaughterhouse Medic and turned into a mindless, undead brute donning a skull mask.
Biography[]
Before Emesis Blue[]
Little if not anything about Stalingrad's backstory, but it can be inferred that it's near-identical to his game counterpart's backstory. He was one of the 100 death row prisoners tested for "Respawn Compability", and one of the 10 that managed to be compatible with the machine. Due to being legally dead, he was therefore considered "company property" for all means and purposes, forcing him and the other 8 mercenaries (the tenth one had committed suicide after going insane from the Respawn Machine) to fight endlessly in the Gravel Wars, orchestrated by the Mann Brothers and extended as long as humanly possible by Jules Archibald.
At an unknown point before the events of Emesis Blue, Mikhall was brought by Jules Archibald to Dustbowl to attend an execution of three BLU mercenaries: a BLU Heavy, a BLU Sniper and a BLU Scout. While Archibald aims a revolver at the mercenaries, he would then remember that his newly appointed right hand man Detective, Jacques Morneau wanted a promotion and decides to hand the gun to him. Murnau questions what the three mercenaries have done and Archibald answers that they committed treason, though the reason was never stated. As the detective begins executing the prisoners, mikhall watches from a distance.
Eventually at some point, Misha would rebelled against the Mann Brothers and Archibald for what they have been doing to the Mercenaries, including many clones of Mikhall himself and left the war. Afterwards, he eventually found his way as an agent for the Conagher Slaughterhouse, owned by brothers Zed and Maynard Conagher.
Graveyard Shift (Human Death)[]
The Detective confronting Stalingrad
Misha would eventually accept his first mission of delivering a suitcase containing ''unspecified substances'' to his new client in an alleyway in Mortem New Mexico. Upon arriving at the meet up at 8:31 PM, instead of meeting his handoff, he would be stopped by former BLU Spy-turned-Detective, Jacques Morneau, where he appears behind Stalingrad via his invis watch, aiming his revolver at the Heavy. While Stalingrad states that he's BLU, the Detective interrogates him about Archibald's recent disappearance. Stalingrad refuses to speak about it, claiming that he knows nothing about it. When Morneau questions him further about his employers and the contents of the briefcase, Stalingrad refuses to respond and immediately engages in a fight with Morneau, slamming the briefcase into the detective to initiate the fight. Mikhail easily overpowers him and pins him against a dumpster, but before he can fully choke him out, he is intervened by Morneau's assistant and the former BLU Soldier, Jane Doe, who shoots Stalingrad in the heart, killing him. Angered, that their only lead is now dead, Morneau has Jane fetch his camera for evidence. While he inspects the briefcase the Russian was carrying, a mysterious shadowy figure appears and knocks Morneau out before taking the briefcase and fleeing in the stolen hearse.
Crossroads (Reanimation)[]
Recording of Stalingrad getting resurrected by a RED Medic
Sometime later after the confiscation of the briefcase, the figure and his assistant return to the scene and Mikiall's body is recovered and transported to the Conagher Slaughterhouse. There, the corpse is placed under the care of a weary RED Medic, who begins a late-night autopsy at precisely 12:31 AM. The Medic clinically notes the cause of death, but his professionalism quickly gives way to bitter frustration. He mutters and curses the name of Helix Technologies, condemning them for the endless cycle of violence and the toll it has taken on both the mercenaries and himself, before injecting Misha with a mysterious serum. This causes him to grow rapidly, and as the Medic watches in shock, Mikhall breaks from his restraints and seizes the Medic before hurling him against the wall, killing him instantly. The Mann Mikhall was is no more, officially being reborn as Stalingrad.
Sometime Later. as the newly zombified Stalingrad arrives to the Slaughterhouse's battlements via elevator, he encounter's a trespassor, Dr. Fritz Ludwig, to which he immediately begins chase, perusing Ludwig into the Slaughterhouse's courtyard and into a shed that leads to the building's basement, eventually losing Ludwig. Later, while in the basement, Ludwig enters the building's medical room, where he uncovers and witnesses via VHS tape Stalingrad's previous autopsy. After the tape's end. Stalingrad fully reveals himself to Ludwig before continuing his chase. During the pursue, he stumbles across the RED Medic once more, the same one who had presided over his body. The Medic, barely clinging to life and dragging himself along the floor after a prior encounter with Ludwig, finds himself in Stalingrad’s path. Without hesitation, Stalingrad seizes the helpless man, lifting him effortlessly before crushing his skull with his bare hands, ending him for good, before continuing chase with Ludwig, eventually busting into the Slaughterhouse's Battlements area and encountering Jane Doe and captive and the RED Demoman, Cyclops.
Stalingrad attempting to crush Doe's head
Upon immediately identifying Jane as the man responsible for his death, he rips the weapon from Doe’s hands and clamps his massive grip around the Soldier’s helmeted head, attempting to crush it as he had done to the Medic. This time, however, the helmet spares Doe from an instant death, prolonging it long enough for Cyclops to catch Stalingrad's attention, to which does is thrown aside and both Cyclops and Doe are pinned under a statue. As Staligrad approaches the pinned duo in preparation to finish them off, Fritz appears and baits The Russian into picking him up, to which Ludwig shoves a screwdriver in the Monster's left eye, buying enough time for Jane and Cyclops to free themselves, and the three enter the elevator and descend into the underground just before Stalingrad can reach them.
Katabasis (Zombified Death)[]
Sometime later, Stalingrad is notified and sent (presumably by the Butcher) to intercept Jane, who is currently seeking shelter in the underground's Cryo-Stasis lab, where spare clones are preserved and kept. By the time he arrive to the scene, Doe is nowhere in sight, all that is there is the frozen remains of the no deceased Cyclops, armed with a grenade left by Doe, which breaks from the corpse's hands and explodes at Stalingrad's feet. Miraculously surviving with little damage done, he later again encounters Jane in the deeper parts of the Execution Floor's corpse pile of 800,000 test subjects, where he was about to rocket jump over a broken bridge to a staircase on the other side. The Brute intercepts and proceeds to attack him, grabing Jane's recently recovered Rocket Launcher, to which the soldier uses Stalingrad as a jump pad, propelling himself off him with the launcher, severely burning the brute, and he flings himself to the other side until he falls into the crevice after getting shot by a mysterious figure.
Stalingrad's presumed death as he is crushed by the falling tower
After Falling into the crevice, Jane eventually finds his way out the building via the sewers system's. Little did he know, Stalingrad was hot on his tail, exiting from another gap into the sewers and further peruses the Soldier as the destruction of the Conagher Slaughterhouse rages on above. Jane attempts to get away, but he is knocked down to the ground by the brute. Before Stalingrad can kill Jane, a huge chunk of debris of the slaughterhouse falls onto Stalingrad, killing him for good.

Trivia[]
- Stalingrad's demeanour in undeath is heavily resembling of Nemesis from Capcom's Resident Evil saga, both being nigh-mindless brutes that are only seen repeating the enemy faction's name; S.T.A.R.S on Nemesis's case and BLU on Stalingrad's case. His appearance is also similar to Mr. X, also from the Resident Evil saga.
- The Skull Mask worn by Stalingrad is a real cosmetic item that is wearable in Team Fortress 2 - That being the Mad Mask: a community-created cosmetic item for the Heavy. Said mask is inspired by the mask worn by the character Lord Humungus, from the Mad Max Series.
- Along with the Skull mask, The suit and Fedora Stalingrad wears are also community created items for Source Filmmaker (SFM): that being the Rain Catcher, made by Astute, and the TF2 Suited Scout, Heavy set, made by Caseytube, Velly, and Maxxy. Both items available for free use on the Steam Workshop. More to Come....
