T. 9, better known as Tac Nayn, is the main antagonist of the 2011 animated internet film, NYAN BATTLE ! (Nyan cat vs Tac Nayn), based on the viral internet sensation, Nyan Cat.
He is a sadistic agent who was sent by his superiors to take down Nyan Cat and prepare Earth for their kind's invasion, only for Tac Nyan to instead act on his own sadistic merit.
Biography[]
The film opens with a pair of shadowy cats discussing their new-found discovery of Earth, which they plan to invade in order to repopulate their dying race. However, the two sense a powerful being on the planet, so they send T. 9, AKA Tac Nayn, down to investigate and take care of the issue.
Upon arriving on Earth, Tac Nayn destroys a Rainbow at the top of a moutain, proclaiming that he'll destroy every single other rainbow, before murdering a human in front of him that climbed to the top of the mountain to see it.
Afterwards, Tac Nayn began brutally picking on a helpless Donut Cat offscreen, sending them crashing towards the ground with their head bloodily wounded, which Nyan Cat notices and patches Donut Cat's injury up. Right after Donut Cat leaves thanking Nyan Cat for his hospitality, Tac Nayn shows up to attack Donut Cat a second time, sending them far away in the distance. Tac Nayn then realizes that Nyan Cat is the exact being he was ordered to take care of, and attempts to manipulate Nyan Cat into leaving Earth for his kind's takeover by offering him mercy, only for Nyan Cat to reject the offer in favor of keeping Earth safe, to which Tac Nayn angrily tries to kill him, thus starting a fight between the two.
When Tac Nayn seemingly manages to knock out Nyan Cat with his tail in the fight, Nyan Cat quickly regains his strength after briefly turning rainbow and seemingly manages to defeat Tac Nayn. However, Tac Nayn survives, albeit with noticeable injuries, and becomes so enraged towards Nyan Cat's victory that he decides to go against his leaders' wishes and attempts to destroy Earth with Nyan Cat on it out of spite, uncaring that his own species needs the planet to repopulate. Tac Nayn flies high up above Earth's atmosphere, and begins firing a massive array of gray blasts at Earth in an attempt to destroy the planet, managing to hit Nyan Cat in the process, to which Tac Nayn sadistically laughs and fires another blast at Nyan Cat to finally kill him.
However, just before Tac Nayn's beam is able to hit Nyan Cat, Donut Cat flies in back to the take the hit for him, sacrificing their own life to repay Nyan Cat's kindness. Just before Donut Cat succumbs to their death, they beg Nyan Cat to use their sacrifice as an opportunity to stop Tac Nayn once and for all. After Nyan Cat witnesses the death of his friend, his memories of not only Donut Cat, but also of his earlier deceased girlfriend cause him turn into an angelic form, before teleporting in front of Tac Nayn and firing a massive blast at him that sends Tac Nayn back to his species' dying homeworld and explodes, destroying the planet and seemingly killing him and his superiors.
Personality[]
Tac Nayn is portrayed as a sadistic brute who eagerly picks on those weaker than him, as indicated by his abuse towards Donut Cat, and is extremely wrathful, as shown by how he angrily destroys a rainbow despite it not being beneficial to his leaders' goals, and immediately decides to kill Nyan Cat when he proves to be against Earth's takeover. Tac Nayn is also extremely uncaring towards those around him, as he ultimately attempts to destroy the same planet his own people need to survive, just so he can spite Nyan Cat's victory against him, not caring in the slightest the he'd be dooming his own species.
