Tarantulas is a Predacon and a major antagonist of Zord Adventures. He is a mad scientist who is responsible for creating the Reprogrammer X which has the ability to turn any Maximal or Zord into a Predacon.
He was voiced by Andrew DeLiberus.
Personality[]
- For a Predacon who is intelligent, he is sadistic and utterly psychotic just like his cartoon counterpart. However, unlike his counterpart, he is also very loyal to Rampage and has trusted him in all his life.
Villainous Acts[]
- In both Predacons Arise and Wild Rescue, he and the other Predacons ambushed the Dinozords and Ape as they fight them off and won the battle against them until the Wild Zords arrived and took out the Predacons with one of them being Tarantulas except Dinobot who survived and retreated.
- In The Maximals' Story, it was revealed he invented the Reprogrammer X to turn the Maximal into a Predacon and use it on Dinobot and Rhinox to turn them into permanent Predacons. He later joins Rampage and the other Predacons at the battle at the Axalon as they destroyed it in the process.
- In Fallen Leader, he and Rhinox have been resurrected as Transmetal as he and Rhinox join Rampage on fighting the Dinozords excluding Dragon who is now a Predazord. The battle soon came to a victory for the Predacons as Tyrano died at the hands of Rampage and soon injected his venom in Mastodon, paralyzing him.
- In Turn for the Worse, he, Rhinox, Dinobot, Dragon and Tsubasa were given a mission to deliver a bomb disguised as a cake to the Thunder Zords' base and block their access of escape. And as it goes on, the base soon starts exploding killing Red Dragon and leaving Blue Shogun fatally wounded. Soon Tarantulas, Rhinox and Tsubasa went on pursuit to exterminate the rest of the Zords in the exploding base killing Black Shogun and Firebird but only for the rest of the Thunder Zords and Shogun Zords to restrain them, giving the Ninja Zords enough time to be teleported out of here by Red Shogun. After Dinobot's objection on ordering to destroy the base with Rhinox, Tarantulas and Tsubasa still inside, Quickstrike yanks the button away from Dinobot and pushes the button, destroying the base and killing Tarantulas, Rhinox, Tsubasa and the remaining Thunder Zords and Shogun Zords with them.
Trivia[]
- While his beast mode is used to play as the Giant Purple Tarantula, he made his first appearance in Predacons Arise.
- Like Optimus Primal and Rhinox, he was the third Predacon to receive a Transmetal form after his death and resurrection then gets killed again.
