Tealer is the titular main antagonist of TEALERLAND and serves as the mascot for the Tealerland amusement park.

He is an animatronic dragon who, like most of the other animatronics in the games, is controlled by Teal Artel to hunt down his brother, David Artel. He lurks in the underground facility constructed beneath the park, along with the other animatronics, until he is lured into one of the containment rooms by T-Lure.

He is voiced by Michael Stark (Stark-Media).

Appearance[]

Tealer is a grey-brown animatronic mascot character inspired by a dragon. He has wings, a tail, and a large snout, and his clothing resembles that of a jester's outfit. Four white horns protrude from the sides of his head, and the tip of his tail is also white. Tealer's jester outfit features a blue and brown color scheme, with split-colored pants, a brown torso that has a storage area, and blue and brown striped sleeves. He wears blue shoes adorned with yellow bells at the tips. His mouth has features resembling real human gums, and his small, milky eyes have dark green irises. In his left hand, he holds a red axe.

Tealer is one of the few voiced characters in the game, and various voice clips can be heard in the trailer. There is a red liquid, possibly blood, on Tealer's torso; however, it is unclear how this red liquid ended up there.

The classic version of Tealer (as Tortured Tealer) was set to appear in The Return to Freddy's 5, which was ultimately canceled.
According to one of the lore pages found throughout the game, David discovered the corpse of an employee in the underground facility next to Tealer, who was in the process of being repaired. It remains unclear how the employee died—whether Tealer was responsible or if it was a suicide—since there were no screams or cries for help reported beforehand. Despite this uncertainty, David chose to conceal the corpse within Tealer's torso.
- This may explain the red liquid on Tealer's torso, likely blood.
- In the game, the corpse is not visible, suggesting that it was likely removed by Teal Artel.
He and the Mischievous are the only animatronics visible outside the underground facility, and he is the only one to appear in the ladder section.

Tealer was voted as the FNAF Character of the Day on Twitter on September 7, 2021.
Tealer was probably named after Teal Artel.
Tealer has a classic variant that is considered non-canon, known as Classic Tealer.
