Testament was aware of the Conclave's plan to take control of "That Man"'s Tsubakumen Prototype and freed two criminals: Dr. Baldhead and Zato-1 from their prison cells with the purpose to join forces and help them obtaining the robot for their own evil desires (although unaware that Zato-1 has joined forces with the Conclave).
With the tournament progressing, Testament orders their allies to infiltrate in the tournament and kill the participants, however, Baldhead and Zato are stopped by May and Millia Rage respectively and the path was clear for Sol Badguy to go fight them straight.
After their battle, Testament is utterly defeated and as a last resource, they merged with the Tsubakumen Prototype to fulfill her requirement of a sacrifice to wake up, after the Gear's defeat, Testament is killed shortly after when Tsubakumen stopped thinking after her agony caused by the battle's wounds.

Trivia[]
- During the first episode, Testament was referred to as male, however, after their reveal in Guilty Gear Strive, it got revealed that in an old interview from around the time the first Guilty Gear was released that they was neither male nor female and has "transcended human existence". So to fit with the original japanese translation, Testament's gender was changed from male to gender-neutral for their Gear form while the male gender is being kept for their past life before being infected with Gear cells.
