The Cat in the Hat, or The Cet in the Het, is the main antagonist of the MeatCanyon short, Cet In Het. He is a completely psychotic version of the original character.

He was voiced by Max Stanley, better know as maxmoefoe.

Appearance[]

Cet is a large anthropomorphic cat with black and white fur, yellow eyes with green pupils, a white red-striped hat, a red bowtie, two white "toon gloves" and rows of sharp teeth that strangely changes in shapes and appearances at certain moments in the video. His most uncanny physical trait is his abnormally thin neck having the appearance of just a drawn line.

Biography[]

It begins with two children sitting on the couch doing nothing, until The Cat in the Hat appears and approaches them explaining how he's there to play with them while their mother's away. He grabs a urn and starts balancing it with one finger, but the fish tells him that it was the children's grandfather's ashes and to put it down. Instead, The Cat throws the urn, thus smashing into a million pieces and starts insulting and swearing at the fish before grabbing a hammer and beating the poor fish to a bloody death. The Cat asks the kids if they want to see a magic trick, thus Thing 1 and Thing 2 start destroying items around the house, The Cat claims that their making the kid's mom's possessions "disappear". However, the TV turns on shows that The Cat in the Hat is at large and breaking to suburban homes. Then, the mother is shown back at the house, in which the Cat orders Thing 1 and Thing 2 to get out of there. The Cat tells the children that he would be back to play with them the next time they're bored.

Personality[]

This version of the cat in the hat, is incredibly psychotic, vulgar, loud, and chaotic, He thrives on chaos, as seen in his reckless behavior, such as smashing the urn containing the children's grandfather's ashes and his encouragement of Thing 1 and Thing 2 to destroy the house. He treats destruction as a form of entertainment.

He is also overtly violent, especially in his interaction with the family fish. Not only does he verbally assault the fish with extreme profanity and graphic insults, but he also murders the fish by smashing it to death with a hammer.

He is also extremely vulgar and disrespectful, his dialogue is filled with obscene language and sexual innuendos, like when he makes disturbing comments about the fish. His vulgarity and lack of any filter suggest that he doesn’t care about maintaining any sense of decency.

Quotes[]

Trivia[]

  • Cet In Het is likely one of the weirdest and most bizarre of MeatCanyon's animations due to his facial expressions, erratic behavior and Max Stanley's voice acting (which consist mostly screaming).
