| ~ The Creator in the "Run for Your Life" Ending |
The Creator is the main antagonist of Liminal, he is the creator of the world and the story itself, who has created the Liminal Spaces and the entities inside it as a "Game", as well as the entire world, although he does not appear through most of the story except for the endings, he is still arguably the most important character due to him being behind everything
Personality[]
The Creator seems to be display a playful, yet serious personality, although he does seem to crack some jokes and overall be playful sometimes, he is also serious the vast majority of the time, it is revealed the created the world and the story out as he was bored with being all alone by himself and wanted something to happen, he also seems to be interested in philosophy and thinking, as he could be omniscient yet keeps his mind limited on some aspects, stating that when he knew everything, it was "useless" to him. After creating the world and the universe, he had also created the "backrooms" or backdoors of reality, as a trashbin for ideas he deemed unfit and his for earlier interpretations of life. Despite being fond of his creations, he never visited earth himself, and thought that the humans would not understand him
However, he became interested in the Backrooms, as he saw it as a reflection and parrarell of the regular world, he made it an uncanny and frightening version of the "real life", and started modifying it, adding more levels and ways to enter and leave, he begin to view it as a game. His curiosity is displayed in many ways, and he does not seem too controlling, however he also stated that he hates it when people cheat his games and that he does not want people to find out many things, thinking it would drive them insane. After the protag cheats, he also display a more wrathful side of him, where he seems mad at the protagonist for cheating. He seems to also hate people suffering, however it just seems to be disgust, rather than a true standard given that he still tortures people and leads them to nigh-certain death on purpose.

Escaped Ending[]
In the ending where the Protagonist manages to escape the liminal spaces, it is heavily implied that the Creator urged him to go back, with the protagonist saying that "It's like...a force wants me back in".
Cheated Ending[]
If the Protagonist uses the computer found in the "Gr3y" to give himself powers to warp reality and teleport, eventually the Protagonist will lose his powers and be transported to a Cream coloured room, where the Creator explains that he found out the Protagonist to be cheating, and that he hates cheating, after explaining the Protagonist's fate, the Creator states that the Protagonist will be tortured for eternity as a punishment for cheating, after this he summons a being for the torture, he will then leave the Protagonist, stating he doesn't wanna see the graphic scene
