The Curse is a supporting antagonist in Season 1 of the Animator vs. Animation fanfic series Father & Son, serving as the titular character and major antagonist in Father & Son 4: A Family Curse and one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Night Shade) of Father & Son 5: Shards Of A Color Drained World.
It is a dangerous, violent and mindless curse that was created by Navy and used to first kill Orchid. Years later, Navy's undead spirit would bring the Curse back to resurrect him and kill his son Purple, before Orchid would use the Curse as the Gray Death in her attempt to drain all the life and color out of the Outernet.

The Curse manifests as a purple, blue and pink whirlpool with vines crawling out of it.
History[]
Father & Son 4: A Family Curse[]
During Purple's childhood, Orchid would talk about how, when her parents married, an elderly man would warn them that their child will be cursed with power. When she and Navy married, that same man would warn her that her powers will be passed on to their child. One day, Orchid would die of what seemed to be an illness.
After Navy's death in the third part of the series, Orchid's ghost would suddenly warn Purple that the curse is real and coming for them. True to her world, the Curse would manifest on ALANSPC, trying to kill everyone and injuring both Purple and Dark before escaping. When Purple, Dark and Second go to Navy's tombstone to investigate if he's back, his spirit returns to reveal that he created the Curse, and used it to kill Orchid. Since then, the Curse remains a looming shadow over Purple's safety, with the heroes realising Navy needs to die once and for all to break it.
At the end of the fic, the Curse's particles appeared on the PC as Orchid gained power and began attacking the Stick City.
Father & Son 5: Shards Of A Color Drained World[]
Orchid's attack is the Curse itself, with it draining color away from everyone and everything, quickly killing everyone in the Stick City and beginning to spread throughout the Outernet with the potential to kill all life. Orchid gives some of the Curse's power to her friend Night Shade, who uses it to kill the Chosen One, and then Yellow, King, Red, Green, Blue, Gold and his friends.
At the ending of the fic, Orchid's defeat results in all the effects of the Curse vanishing away. While it's fate is never confirmed, it can be assumed it's dead.
