The DogBot 2000 is one two secondary antagonist (alongside the PETEY Bots) of The Dogman Movie.
He was a robot created by Petey in order to take out both Robo-Chief and Dogman. He would be given all of Dogman's physical features and direct copies of Dogman's abilites. He is a "better" version of Dogman yet lacked the personality and free will, that being his downfall.
Biography[]
Creation[]
In an attempt to defeat Dogman and take over Okhay Ville, Petey would create a robotic clone of Dogman known as "The DogBot 2000", who had more advanced intelligance and capabilities then Dogman himself. Petey would try to use a power core to power him, but Dogman would break it. Petey would use an old can of Living Spray in order to bring him and all the other PETEY bots.
Hunting down Robo-Chief[]
During a robo-revoult, Robo-Chief would hunt down multiple PETEY bots and kill them. In order to make sure all the robots weren't destroyed, Petey would send out The DogBot 2000. He would find Robo-Chief and while Robo-Chief would shoot all his missles, DogBot's increased speed allowed him to dodge all of them. He would eventually lead Robo-Chief to the Okhay Ville Park where he would go on the corkscrew slide, dashing as soon as the missle came his way. The missle would go down the slide and blow Robo-Chief to death.
Confronting Dogman[]
After the defeat, The DogBot would remain dormant for three weeks as Dogman would be in his house and do nothing. But once Dogman came out and teamed up with Chief for a sting operation of Petey, The DogBot would be released and would attack Dogman. The Mayor would regonize the robot from Robo-Chief's death, leading to Petey confessing he was secretly pulling the strings.
The Battle of Okhay Ville and Death[]
During The Battle Of Okhay Ville, Dogman would be pushed full thrust and would beat him multiple times. At first, it would be really hard for Dogman to defeat him. But soon Dogman would realize The DogBot lacked one thing: Free will, it's attack patterns were predictable, allowing Dogman to defeat and damage him, ripping off his arm. After a while, the now damaged DogBot would find Dogman and help Petey defeat him. Dogman would then push Petey and DogBot off a building so (in an attempt to save himself), would land on DogBot destroying him in the process.
Personality[]
While The DogBot 2000 doesn't have a proper personality, he is bloodthristy and won't rest until his targets are dead. He is also pretty intelligant, occasionally taking advantage of the setting, but he is predictable in terms of fighting moves. Despite being more powerful then Dogman, his fighting style was programmed to be repetitive. That style would allow Dogman to defeat The DogBot 2000.

Trivia[]
- While the orignal books don't feature The DogBot 2000, the A.I Buddies from the original books are a loose couterpart. Especially due to one of them being a robotic clone of Dog Man, but lacking the heart and free will.
