“ | I am the Ensemble Dark Horse Eradicator, and if you have learned anything from those Moral Scaling Killers, you can conjecture that my duty is destroying each and every one of those things you call "Ensemble Dark Horses," but why would I want to slaughter your most cherished characters? It is wrong! They exist for nothing more than menial roles, but yet you fawn over them! That is what has sparked my wrath and encouraged me to take action! The genocide of Ensemble Dark Horses initiates now! | „ |
~ The EDH Eradicator's introduction. |
The Ensemble Dark Horse Eradicator, or the EDH Eradicator, is apparently one of the main antagonists of the Villains Fanon Wiki Chronicles. He is a "Moral" (Reception) Scaling Killer who is dead-set on bringing an end to the Ensemble Dark Horse status.
Appearance[]
The EDH Eradicator is a dark skeleton with a cloak draping over his head. He is frequently seen riding a horse, which is an EDH he had murdered and promptly turned into a literal horse for him to ride on, although it is unknown who this horse previously was. Their eyes glow green.
Personality[]
The EDH Eradicator is an entity marked by his confusion for the EDH status. He is also very, very perplexed as to why anyone would call attention to anyone who is unimportant. For that, he seeks to remedy this issue by making either the EDH in question too important for the status or cause the EDH to develop a personality that the audience will come to hate.
He is also notorious for how serious he is, almost always focused on his task and seldom sparing a moment to make or endure a wisecrack. This has caused him to be viewed rather negatively, as combined with beloved characters unable to be cherished by the audience, he is seen as too dull to be entertaining.
Victims[]
Ensemble Dark Horse to Main Light Horse[]
- Frozone: The Eradicator employed the Role Riser, boosting him to become something more important and knocking him out of the EDH status. This, however, caused his wife to appear in his stead.
- Victim: TBA
- Lumiere: He convinced the candle to ensure Belle and the Beast would become closer, making him pivotal to the reason that the curse was undone. As a result, he became too significant to be an Ensemble Dark Horse.
- The Jester (Oz): The EDH Eradicator pointed out that he stars as the main antagonist of his work. While it almost failed, the page would later be deleted for that reason, and the Jester would be relocated to the Main Light Horse status.
Ensemble Dark Horse to Base Breaking Character[]
- Bandana Waddle Dee - Using the Role Riser, he increased his role to be too important to be an Ensemble Dark Horse. As a bonus, people found Bandana Dee being one of the major characters to be an odd choice, leading to a divisive fanbase.
- Bubble Bass - He first tried using the Role Riser to slowly boost Bubble Bass's role in SpongeBob Squarepants, but the device was taking its sweet time. Annoyed at how long it was taking to bring results, the EDH Eradicator employed the Flanderizer to amp up his nerdy traits to start perceiving him in a negative light. When the Role Riser finally completed doing what it had to, it also added onto his divide thanks to some perceiving him as overused.
- Boscha - TBA
- Loona (Hellaverse) - He used the Flanderizer to make Loona more goth-y, which would cause a divide in the fanbase.
- Lord Nighty-Knight - Lord Nighty-Knight was never an Ensemble Dark Horse, largely due to the fact he had detractors, but some user was convinced he would be an Ensemble Dark Horse on the sole basis that "he had many fans." He argued that he had detractors anyway and later noticed he had a page on the Scrappy Wiki still, so he also brought that up. That Wiki user was still deflecting his points, and eventually tried to say that Nighty-Knight was both an Ensemble Dark Horse and a Scrappy like there was no such thing as a base-breaking character! Dumbfounded, the Eradicator eventually accepted that the EDH Wiki was degrading in quality due to a lack of moderators which led to... an incident that we should probably not speak of, so the EDH Eradicator let the users leave as the quality was worsening. The Wiki would later be claimed by someone who wanted to adopt the Wiki and vowed to clean up the mess. The EDH Eradicator was enraged that he could not see the Wiki decease so easily, but he assisted in the efforts to clean it up, which included escorting Lord Nighty-Knight into Base-Breaking territory. He would later track down the Wiki user that put him on the Ensemble Dark Horse Wiki and cleave them in two with his scythe.
- Morgan Jones - He used the Role Riser to shove Morgan into the main cast, making his fanbase split.
- Obito Uchiha - For all of his powers, he did not quite know what to do with Obito. Then, he learned other Moral Scaling Killers happen to have a history of stealing devices from others, so he discreetly snatched The NPE Killer's Coincidental Bullshit to make it so that Obito was Tobi all along, successfully knocking Obito out of the EDH status by dividing his fanbase.
- The Once-ler (Illumination) - Some individuals are tricky for the EDH Eradicator to thwart. He soon learned that this version of the Thneed seller was depicted as very sexy, which caused him to be disgusted. He channeled this feeling into a new weapon: the Popularity Imploder. He tore down the reputation of the Once-ler by using this against him, making him controversial in the eyes of the audience.
- Raymond (Animal Crossing) - He used the Role Riser to make sure he had too much focus, making him a base-breaker instead.
- Sans - He saw so many fanfictions and art of this skeleton, much to his annoyance. It pestered him how the fandom practically flanderized this monster and made him into something he is not. He would soon learn that all of it was as strong as the link to canon, so he once again used the Popularity Imploder to tear down much of his reputation.
- Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) - He used the Role Riser again to make him an end-of-season final boss and put him with the main cast, which led to some fan opinion souring.
- Trixie Tang - He used the Flanderizer to make her abuse Timmy for no reason and used the Attitude Add-on to give her a snobby personality. All that combined equaled a split fanbase.
Ensemble Dark Horse to Scrappy[]
TBA
Ensemble Dark Horse to Reception Scaling Purgatory[]
TBA
Failed Victims[]
- Scarecrow (Nolanverse): He used the Role Riser to increase his role as the main antagonist of the first Dark Knight film, but his attempts were thwarted when it was explained that Jonathan Crane only had a major role in the first installment.
- Topaz: Since SEGA hasn't revisited Sonic X since its ending, he cannot do anything to her.
Enemies[]
- The Love De-exalter - The very fact the Love De-exalter exists makes the EDH Eradicator uneasy, since one who is no longer Love Exalted means that they could be loved for reasons not intended by the creator, risking the Love Exalted character to lean towards Ensemble Dark Horse status.
- The Scrappy Ender - Despite not having any direct beef with her, her existence and goals conflict with the EDH Eradicator's. The way he sees it, a character who gets better reception risks becoming an Ensemble Dark Horse, which is not what this Reception Scaling Killer wants.
- The Killer Slaughterer - The EDH Eradicator feels uneasy about him, having learned of his attempts to sabotage the Moral Scaling Killers. He is aware that he only goes after those in the Moral Scaling, and the two others he has not yet tried to go after, the Love De-exalter, and The MB Butcher, are on the Likeability Scale which is different from moral ranking. Given the EDH Eradicator's department is within the Reception Scaling, he feels safe, but he is still kept on his toes by the very existence of the Killer Slaughterer.
Quotes[]
“ | You. [Horse walks closer to the user, cornering them.] That was real mature what you did back there. A character with conspicuous detractors, yet you want Lord Nighty-Knight to be seen as the best of the cast? You make me laugh, child. You have not a clue how Reception Scaling works, but if the Ensemble Dark Horse Wiki must remain, then I would rather not see you try. The Wiki might have been rescued, but that will not save you from me. Goodbye. | „ |

Trivia[]
- The appearance of the EDH Eradicator is the same image used for the Reaper Rider.
