Megatronus Prime, also known as The Fallen, is the main antagonist of the TFI Creations YouTube Series.
He is a former prime who defected from his brothers to pursue villainy and form the Decepticons. Once he was defeated by the primes in the Bayverse, he became a multiversal singularity and would attempt to conquer multiple different universes. He is voiced by Andrew Felipe Gerace.
Roles[]
The Fallen debuts as the main antagonist of Transformers: Origins Unknown - The Dynasty of Primes, the overarching antagonist of Transformers: Origins Unknown - Foundation, The main antagonist of Maverick: Danger Zone, and the main antagonist of Gigawatt: Rise of the Fallen.
Personality[]
The Fallen was the most ambitious out of all of the Primes, and would recommend far more extreme ways to keep their planet, Cybertron, thriving. Once his brothers found out that he defected, they sealed him within The Dead Universe, but that only made his mental state worse. Once he becomes a singularity, he faces defeat time and time again. With each defeat, he grows more and more nihilistic, and wishes to destroy the entire multiverse in order to end his suffering for good. Throughout his life, The Fallen has shown no empathy towards any life form, and even goes out of his way to kill innocent people. The only life he values are the ones that can benefit him, such as Galvatron from the RE-Intestellar universe, and Optimus Prime from the Shattered Glass universe.
History[]
Origin[]
The Fallen began his life as Megatronus Prime, a creation of the Allspark alongside the other primes. He initially expressed concern that they all shouldn’t exist and are created without a purpose. But Orionus Prime, one of his brothers, stated that they will pursue their own purpose, and Megatronus agrees. They construct their home on the planet they were created on, and called it cybertron. Once the first Transformers emerged from the Allspark, he believed that they should be used as weapons for war, his idea was shot down by Sentinella Prime. Then he proposes the idea of a Star Harvester that would be used to absorb stars to create energy for the Allspark. While the Primes agreed with his idea, they draw the line at destroying a star that is orbited by planets with life on them.
However, Megatronus goes against their orders, constructs a Star harvester on a planter with life, and destroys its Sun. Once he returns to Cybertron, he is shunned by Sentinella, and then informs a seeker named Jetfire that the Primes have abandoned their cause. When Megatronus attends a meeting with the other primes, he is told by his brothers that he must not destroy the stars of planets unless it is approved by the rest of the dynasty. Megatronus then orders the Constructicons to duplicate a replica of the Matrix of Leadership, the key that powers Star harvesters. However, the replica fails, and his failure drives him to defect from the dynasty. Sentinella decides to cast Megatronus out and refer to him as the Fallen.
Orionus attempts to convinces Megatronus to change his mind, but he lashes out at him and abandons the dynasty and now refers to himself as the Fallen. He leaves and arrives on a younger version of Earth, and orders the Constructicons to construct a Star harvester. The Fallen orders Jetfire to join his Decepticon army, and secretly plans to execute him if he learns the truth about earth. When the Fallen orders The Constructicons to kill primitive humans, Jetfire defects from his master and is almost killed by his former allies. When the primes arrive on earth with the Allspark, the Fallen ambushes them and steals the Matrix. Orionus faces off against the Fallen, and traps him within the Dead Universe with a monument that resembles the defected prime. The primes place his monument deep within cybertron, and would remain inside for millions of years. However, unknown to his brothers, the Fallen absorbed a part of the Dead Universe, and became a singularity.
Journey Throughout the Multiverse[]
Long after the primes passed on, Megatron uncovered the monument, and freed the Fallen from his tomb. Megatron would become indoctrinated into his cause, and reform the Decepticons. The Fallen would begin the Great Cybertronian war, and the events of the original Transformers Cinematic Universe would commence. After the Fallen was finally killed by Optimus Prime, he would reawaken within the Aligned Continuity, and transform into his 2015 design from Transformers: Robots in Disguise.
After his defeat in that universe, The Fallen was reborn in another universe as a Decepticon Seeker. He lead a team of seekers to uncover Synthetic Energon, a version of Energon that provides more energy than regular Energon. The Fallen surprise attacks an Autobot seeker named Breakaway, and kills him midair. One of the Autobot’s seekers, Maverick, decides to lead an army to one of the Synth-En reservoirs, but is ambushed once again by The Fallen. He orders Starscream to kill Maverick, but the Autobot gains the upper hand and flies away. The Fallen chases after Maverick, but the two meet their end when Maverick blows them both up with Starscream’s Synth-En cannon.
At some point in time, the Fallen is reborn in a new universe, and is back at square one as Megatronus. He is acquainted with different versions of the Primes, and falls in love with Solus Prime. She would create many tools and weapons for the Primes, including a weapon called the Requiem Blaster. After the primes faced off against the dark god Unicron, Solus believed that the Requiem blaster should be stored away somewhere safe. Megatronus assures Solus that it will be safe with him, but she doesn’t believe him. However, the Fallen sees Solas as someone who is against him, much like the primes from his original life. Once Solus decided to store away the Requiem blaster within her forge, Megatronus returns bathed in flames, and seemingly kills her. After the apparent murder of Solus, the rest of the Primes struck back at the Fallen, and killed him once more.
A Multiversal Threat[]
The Fallen’s singularity form returns to the Dead Universe, and runs into the Shattered Glass version of Optimus Prime. He brings the evil prime to his side and promises the end to his suffering. He plans to destroy the time traveling Gigawatt, and informs Optimus that he will kill him if he goes against his new master. The Fallen and Optimus wait within the Dead Universe for Gigawatt, who is now powered by the Dark Spark. When he arrives, the Fallen attacks him and forces Gigawatt to take them to the Shattered Glass universe, and steals the Dark Spark from the good versions of the Decepticons. Gigawatt was the only one who survives the attack, and flees to the Roll Out universe.
The Fallen and Optimus travel to the RE-Interstellar universe to bring Galvatron into their cause. The two fought against Galvatron and Nemesis Prime, and the latter is killed when the Fallen rips out his Dark Energon Matrix. Galvatron learns that the attacker is his master, and The Fallen explains that an Orion that was loyal to him from the beginning does exist, and he can give him to Galvatron if he descides to serve his namesake. Meanwhile, Gigawatt travels to the OR-Interstellar universe, and runs into the villainous trio. He tempts the time traveller to join him, but he refuses, and the Fallen leaves to the Shattered Glass universe. He blesses his disciples with upgrades, which fully drains the Dark Energon Matrix of its energy. The Fallen then uses the Dark Spark to revert back into his original form. The trio learns that Gigawatt is forming a team of Primes, consisting of Bayverse Optimus, RE-Interstellar Optimus, HotSpot Prime, and First Aid. While Shattered Glass Optimus and Galvatron express their doubts of the Fallen’s promise to end their suffering, the Fallen secretly self-monologue about his plan to destroy the multiverse to end his endless cycle.
Eventually, Gigawatt and his team return to the Shattered Glass universe, and confronts the Fallen alone. Gigawatt argues that the Fallen’s promise is false. The Fallen orders Optimus and Galvatron to destroy Gigawatt, but his team protects him, and distracts the two disciples. Gigawatt attacks the fallen and pulls out a bomb from the Jurassic Spark universe. He and First Aid trap the fallen in a bubble with the exploding bomb, momentarily stunning him. The Fallen teleports and transform into his Stealth Bomber form, and flees to the Maverick universe with Gigawatt right behind him. The fallen then flees into a time period set during World War II, and attacks Allied powers soldiers. He then attempts to strangle Gigawatt, but is chased away by Bumblebee and Hot Rod. The two then hop through a few more universes and landed back in the Shattered Glass universe.
Gigawatt furiously proclaims that the Fallen has multiple chances to start over and change, but ruined every opportunity. He punches the Fallen throughout multiple universes, but he gains the upper hand and attempts to stab Gigawatt. Fortunately, Bayverse Optimus steals his staff, and distracts the Fallen for a minute. However, the Fallen knocks him away and allows Shattered Glass Optimus to execute Gigawatt. The Fallen picks him back up, and teleports him to the Dead Universe. He forces Gigawatt to witness the creation of his Black Hole, along side the destruction of a Mad Max-esque universe. Gigawatt retreats back to the battle, and pulls out the Star Saber, and calls for the primes to unleash the power of their matrixes upon the Fallen and his minions, disintegrating the two, while fatally weakening the Fallen. The Fallen claims that if he dies, he will return to destroy the multiverse. But Gigawatt states that the Fallen can end his suffering if he chooses to start over and begin a new life, one without villainy and destruction. After a moment of silence, he begs for Gigawatt to kill him, and Hotspot destroys him with the requiem blaster. The Fallen is sent back to the Dead Universe and begins a brand new life, hopefully as a peaceful entity.
Trivia[]
- The idea of the Fallen as a singularity was based off of a concept that depicts characters like Primus, Unicron, and the Thirteen Primes as multiversal singularities. While these characters may look different in other shows, movies, and comics, they are still considered the same character. This idea was later abandoned when Nexus Prime, the prime of combiners, eliminated the concept entirely. Now each version of the Primes from a continuity can still exist as their own entity without being tied to a previous version.
- While the Fallen had different voices throughout multiple different shows and movies, his voice in the TFI Creations series was consistently based off of his version from the 2009 film; Revenge of the Fallen.
- There were multiple hints that the “Decepticon Leader” from Maverick: Danger Zone was actually the Fallen. He possessed the ability to teleport, he shared a similar color scheme, Starscream referred to him as an “Ancient One”, his robot mode has a fiery motif based on his DreamWave design, and his voice actor returned to portray the character in the same exact voice.
- The figures that portrayed each of his forms are as follows:
- Original Form: The Fallen (Voyager Class 2010)
- RID Form: Megatronus (Warrior Class, 2016)
- Maverick Form: Mindwipe (Voyager Class 2010)
- Singularity Form: Flametoys (Kuro Kara Kuri #06)
- Final Form: Black Mamba FA-01 Supreme Elder (Studio Series 91 oversized knockoff)
- Samuel Jay Flattman, the director of Gigawatt 4 and the rest of the TFI Creations films, has confirmed on his Twitter/X account that the Fallen's new life is the Megatronus from Transformers One, a version of the character that doesn't become a villain.[1]
