“ | Get out of the house! | „ |
~ The Invader's most famous quote. |
The Invader is the titular main antagonist of rezendeevil's 2017 first live-action horror YouTube series Invasor: A Série (Invader: The Series), which was based on real life events with the same youtuber.
He is the sadistic twin brother of the protagonist Pedro Rezende, who wishes revenge on him for their tragic backstory involving Pedro accidentally setting their old wooden house on fire, which killed both their biological parents and disfigured his face, making everyone around him disgusted ever since, but foremost for unknowingly moving back and living happily in the new house on the same spot where their story began. Wishing Pedro to suffer the most possible, he then begins a dark pursue by constantly invading his house, breaking things inside and attempting to hurt or kill people.
It is thus far unknown who portrayed The Invader in the first half of the series. However, in the second half, he is mostly portrayed by the youtuber rezendeevil/Pedro Rezende himself, who also portrayed his eponymous character in Casa de Férias, Valron in Wizards Academy and Killer Clown in Diário de Adolescênte; and when both him and the protagonist were sharing screen, he was portrayed by the former channel manager César/Ace.
Relationships[]
Allies[]
Virgínia[]
Virgínia was The Invader's very first ally. She appears whereupon one of Rezende's friends, known as Pokey, leaves their house out of fear from The Invader and is never seen again in the series. She claimed to be an investigative reporter who was interested in helping the local dwellers of that house about a burglar that had invaded their house, broken stuff inside and poisoned Rezende. However, she is later revealed to be The Invader's sidekick who was just feigning heroism to manipulate Rezende into giving her his information, thus facilitating for The Invader to reach out on the dwellers and disturb them easily. Virgínia, however, is quickly discarded by The Invader because of her little mistake of letting the dwellers find her electronic device which allowed The Invader to hear whatever they were planning. The Invader kills her by making a date as a façade and poisoning her wine, and later uses her body to try to frame Rezende and Adriano for her demise, allowing Stella to come as his next sidekick.
Stella[]
Stella is a woman who worked for the police and started to date with Rezende, she moved Rezende away from his house for a time due to a fight she created between Rezende and Adriano, but the whole conflict is planned by The Invader. She decided to work for him for money and The Invader bribed her to do the dirty work, but later, she confesses her crimes, surrenders to the cadet and accepts her arrest.
The Pixador[]
The Invader's relationship with the Pixador wasn't strong like the other allies, but the Pixador was the help of a big boost for Rezende's hatred towards The Invader. At his first appearance, he tells Rezende, Dexter and Adriano some random masked guy approached him and told him to scare a group of people around there, it was hard but the Pixador convinced the trio about the story. And later, he boosts Rezende's anger upon The Invader by helping him kidnap Rezende's brother João and threaten his life to Rezende, but, fortunately, João was saved when Rodrigues arrived just in time and shot the Pixador, killing him.
His fourth helper[]
The guy is known as "The Invader's Helper". He is a nameless man who assists The Invader in his goals for a very short time. He is the unknown man who shot Rezende in the stomach as a part of another of The Invader's plans to make him rest in his bed in his house to talk to him hidden from the others. He tried to kill Cadet Rodrigues and Rezende but got into their trap. He also disguised himself as The Invader to try to kill Rodrigues once more inside an unknown house, but gets outsmarted and shot dead by the cadet.
Ace the Scientist[]
Ace is the final ally The Invader ever has. Although his plot lasts shorter than his other allies, he, like all the others, has a major plot among a temporary conflict involving the protagonists trying to find a way to either have The Invader to release Adriano, who was being kept hostage, or to find out where he was to rescue him. Ace is likely a scientist who The Invader makes an agreement with to produce a poison in order to use it in his other vile plans against Rezende and Cadet Rodrigues. He was supposed to give the poison to The Invader, but since Rezende had found The Invader's old phone to contact him, he outsmarts Ace by dressing as The Invader and getting the poison without saying a word. Ace, then, gets severely scolded by The Invader for handing it over to the wrong person. And, though The Invader promises to give him his reward when he asks for one last favor, The Invader kills him off instead because of his mistake with the poison.
Enemies[]
Pedro Rezende[]
The Invader is the long lost twin brother of the protagonist Pedro Afonso Rezende Posso, who was also his arch-nemesis. The Invader grew in hatred toward his brother due to their past accident. Rezende cause their former house to catch on fire by carelessly playing with candles, which killed both their biological parents and disfigured The Invader's face, giving him a permanent scar. The Invader's hatred for Pedro grew even more intense by the fact Pedro always got the appreciation and love from everyone who would meet them at the orphanage and he was always looked at in a repulsive manner due to the scar he has, also for the kids in the orphanage being always terrified of The Invader's scar. With that, Pedro got adopted after about 3 months in the orphanage while The Invader was never adopted. As The Invader claims, he was able to stalk Rezende throughout his life to know about his current life. Rezende, at his 20's, he moved to a house to live with 2 more of his friends and was living nicely, unaware that that place was the same place where his past had happened, making The Invader utterly ditch any feelings for Rezende and having nothing more than only bad feeling toward Rezende, which made him do everything he did in the story to torment him.
Cadet Rodrigues[]
Cadet Rodrigues is The Invader's second arch-enemy. As Rodrigues was a police officer cadet who was helping Pedro in bringing The Invader to justice, he had the duty of tracking down The Invader, which would clearly disrupt his plans of hitting Rezende. Thus he was the one who The Invader hated the second most, behind Pedro. The Invader attempts to make Rodrigues leave his case by many ways, temporarily succeeding in one of them, which made Rodrigues so scared to the point of leaving his job to avoid any harm The Invader could cause him as he promised. However, Rodrigues comes back and keeps foiling his plans continuously, like when he did by killing the Pixador in order to save Pedro's younger adoptive brother João. Thus, The Invader kept trying to get Rodrigues as far as he could from his plans. So much so that he ultimately succeeds luring Rodrigues to a wasteland to fight alone with him, only to trick him again and kill him.
Pokey[]
The Invader barely had the chance to further know Pokey, another friend of Pedro who decided to leave the house because of his fear of The Invader. When plotting to make Rezende weak again, he mentions Pedro's "other friend" whom he didn't get to know further about. He knew a little about Pokey however, as his name is also seen written on his board and scribbled over, meaning he knew he had left and never came back. However, Pokey had already noticed how dangerous The Invader was, as The Invader was able to make him scared enough to decide to leave Rezende and Dexter to move away elsewhere for the sake of his own safety, something both of his friends didn't not agree with and replacing him in their house by calling Adriano.
Adriano[]
Although The Invader was planning to mainly torment Rezende, Adriano had the unfortunate luck of being one of his most suffered victims. Though he didn't kill Adriano, he still lashed out his anger on him many times, as The Invader planned to capture him and keep him away from the others for whole 25 days, as well as torturing him and breaking his right arm. Adriano, though still a little scared, still had determination to help Rezende in bringing The Invader to justice and support him, which also made The Invader consider him as a major threat to his plans, such as when Adriano stole his music box from his hideout in order to give it to Rodrigues to identify him through any of his fingerprints on the box, which led The Invader to capture him, along with Dexter and Pedro, attempt to asphyxiate them in a gas chamber.
Dexter[]
The Invader has very few direct interactions with Dexter, though, like everyone else, The Invader also targets him as a way to torment Rezende. He also despises Dexter for having the job of recording Rezende's life too often due to his YouTube channel and saw this as risky for him as anything of him could leak to the audience which could further improve the chances of getting him caught by authorities. Though he forced him to record the moment he had kidnapped him and his friends to a dark shed, as well as keeping the camera on as they are asphyxiated in the chamber, he did it for pure spite as he himself didn't like the fact he was being recorded the whole time and wanted to record the moment he tormented them, claiming as well that he wanted to register catch that moment on video, possibly for him to keep watching multiple times later on.

Appearance[]
Masked[]

The Invader has the same features of a normal masked robber, thief or serial killer, also as any criminal who wants to hide his face and identity.
He is always wearing black mask, black coat with black hood and jeans. He keeps his face hidden behind the black hood and mask, in some episodes, he also wears black gloves. Also, when he appears for the first times, his unmasked face is barely visible. He keeps and holds a serial killer looking knife everywhere.
Unlike the invader from the real life events, he forces his voice to be likely hoarser and rougher, the real Invader didn't wear mask and neither forced his voice.
Unmasked[]

After unmasked, the true appearance of The Invader is revealed. He has the same face as Rezende, however, he has a burn scar in the left side of his face, it happened when he was still three years old and, when his house got on fire, his parents died and his face got damaged by the fire.
He reveals the whole story about his appearance, and everything he did, to Rodrigues after getting unmasked, and, since then, everything makes sense, but he still has something in mind.
Skills and Abilities[]
- Fearlessness: Although The Invader hides in the shadows almost every time he's plotting against Rezende, he never shows himself to be insecure or afraid to be beaten, caught, or injured, as he demonstrates when he gives and evil chuckle while fighting Rezende or when he fought Cadet Rodrigues.
- High pain tolerance: The Invader has been likely felt physical pain, in total, 3 times, being two of them gunshots directly from Rodrigues's hands (without dying), and the other two by the melee fights he went through with Rezende and Rodrigues, where he was beaten up.
- High levelled strategy/intelligence: It's continuously said throughout the series that The Invader is always a step ahead of them due to his incredible agility to plan, such as using the electronic device to hear the dwellers' plan and deceive them, and injecting a substance into Adriano which made him be morally set free from his imprisonment within Rodrigues's watch.
- Manipulation/Corruption: He somehow got Virgínia convinced to work for him in order to manipulate Rezende, blackmailed an already-corrupt ex-police officer Stella to make her date and also manipulate Rezende, had the Pixador to get João killed, his helper to shoot Rezende for a talk, but later kill him, and the scientist to produce poisons to him.
- Stealth: The Invader has broken multiple times into Rezende's house without being noticed, not even by Cadet Rodrigues, who was knocked out by The Invader after he was convinced there was nothing in the house. He has also moved around the house and outside while spying on them without being spotted.
- Strength: The Invader is somehow so strong he managed to knock out Rodrigues, Rezende and Adriano just using his own hands by punching them. It is also implied that he knew how to knock people out using just his own hands since all the three times he punched them in their nape.
Non-Canon Cameo[]
While Rezendeevil was developing Invader: The Series back from December of 2017 to February of 2018, he was making a fun-made offer for his subscribers in which they had to take a picture holding a paper written "#SouInscritoDoRezende" or "#SouInscritaDoRezende" (both of which, in English, could be translated to "#ImARezendeSubscriber", both meaning the same thing but one for each gender) and post it on their Instagram or Twitter, giving them the chance to be shown among the four people Rezende would choose randomly and daily as the four "subscribers of the day". On January 9th of 2018, on which the Invader: The Series episode 50 was released, The Invader took part in that day's subscribers of the day as a fun-cameo in the end of all the four videos Rezende made on that day, where he presented and congratulated each of the four subscribers chosen on that day, and did it saying stuff as still being portrayed as his character in the series.[7][8][9][10]

“ | Dude, now we know there is no way, for what you were thinking. Your brother won't turn back, won't come to the good side... No more, dude. | „ |
~ Adriano to Rezende in their mourning about The Invader after having killed Cadet Rodrigues |
Since the beginning, The Invader is always shown negatively. Initially, he begins treated and shown as a random criminal who broke into Pedro's house for stealing and for not showing up much in the beginning. The mystery begins when he leaves evidences of his invasion, as leaving the front door open and locking Rezende, Dexter and Pokey up in the attic, and doesn't steal anything from Rezende's house. But after the investigative reporter Virgínia arises and is revealed his henchman, he speaks for the first time and shows himself by a phone call as someone mysteriously dark and hurtful as he orders Rezende and his friends to leave the house immediately and after he makes a lot of loud noises around the house before knocking out Cadet Rodrigues and Pedro.
As the story goes on, The Invader becomes darker and more menacing to the protagonists and even to his own henchmen. Using his high intelligence and his burglar skills to make it into the house through any of its parts, he almost always knows what the house dwellers are doing and planning, some ways discovered and some not, making him be plenty often a step ahead of them, like implanting a hidden listening device under Rezende's office table, watching over the residents' schedule to know when and how to attack and to trick the dwellers or make them even more afraid and desperate over his intentions.
With Pedro's persistence in not leaving the house, The Invader begins to loathe him more and more over time, reaching the point where The Invader begins to gravely mess with Pedro's family and not telling him the base reason of his horrible deeds, taking his anger and will to make Rezende suffer to the next level. It shows clearly how The Invader cares so little for Rezende and even innocent people, regardless of their age or condition. As in one of his deeds to fill Rezende in despair and sadness where he kidnaps his 15-year-old adoptive brother and holds him hostage in his hideout with the Pixador as an assurance Rezende would follow his orders of meeting him privately at Tiradentes avenue. They meet each other and talk about their conflict. Even after Rezende begging many times not to do anything and saying many times his brother was just a young teenager, The Invader tricks him into thinking he was convinced in letting João free, but right after, he orders the Pixador to kill him, turning the speaker on so Pedro could hear the loud gunshot, making him desperately angry at The Invader and starting a melee fight.
The Invader have gone so mad, after his plan to kill João foiled, he becomes even more persistent in his will to hurt the dwellers and fill the others in another concerning fear. He decides to kidnap Adriano and hold him hostage for a time, as a way to have Pedro weakened and have a chance to talk to him about how he finds funny how Rezende's memory is so weak for not remembering their incident in their childhood, but still didn't tell what is the incident that makes him so angry at Pedro. Although having a short time of peaceful talk with Pedro, his sadistic nature didn't leave, for he killing Rodrigues, one of the main characters in the series, after taunting him into going to a private melee fight to see which would leave still alive, making Pedro, Adriano and Dexter aware The Invader will never turn back at his deeds and go to the good side.

Trivia[]
- The Invader is inspired by the Invader from the real life events, who was a criminal who have disturbed Rezendeevil's life for about 2-3 months.
- Not only is The Invader the very first fictional villain on Rezendeevil's channel but he's also, at least so far, the darkest and most evil villain in Rezendeevil's fictional multiverse.
- The Invader's voice, while he is masked, is not easy to identify from who portrays him, but every time Rezende is not portraying the protagonist in the series, he portrays him.
- So far, it's already known a lot about who The Invader is, as well as some of his information. He's Rezende's twin brother, both his and Rezende's ages are 20 (since they both were 3 when the tragic accident happened, and the series happen 17 years later), he always suffered from everyone else's disgust and lack of empathy and never got a job, all because of their judgement on his face scar. Therefore, the conclusion is that the only thing that remains unknown is his name.
- The Series could belong to the category of stories that have a closed ending, that means having an ending where no questions would be left unanswered and everything would be clear, as well as The Invader being confirmed to be dead for good. However, due to the series' very last scene, The Invader's fate has been left ambiguous to date, since it can mean either The Invader didn't die at all and gathered a new crew of criminals to continue to terrorize Pedro Rezende, or The Invader is truly dead and new criminals decided to follow the same path as his and continue his job in his name, which can also mean these criminals somehow knew him and wants to torment and kill Pedro to avenge him.
