The Jailer is a major antagonist in the Awakening arc of the creepypasta and ARG series BEN Drowned.

They are a mysterious entity presumably hired by Abel to hunt down any person who tries to escape their confinement in the Ethereal Hotel, being responsible for the murder of the Second Player.

Biography

Awakening Arc

The Jailer makes their first appearance in sonata.wmv, briefly appearing during a screen flicker.

In Methods of Revolution (Day 1), the Second Player discovers several notes that appear to be related to the Jailer. Later in the video, the Second Player sees the Jailer in the corridor after peeking through the keyhole of the door.

In Methods of Revolution (Day 3), the Jailer kills a woman who is heard panicking in her room.

In Methods of Revolution (Day 6), the Second Player steps out of his room, and the Jailer is heard lurking far into the hallway.

In Methods of Revolution (Day 11), the Second Player stepped out of his room. Unfortunately, right as he steps out of the room, the Jailer immediately kills the Second Player.
