History[]
Black Panther[]
He and his brother Jared Klaw were at first seen terrorizing Azrael Simkins, who happens to be the mayor of a small town. Jared threatened to wipe his town off the map as the town's money shall belong to the Klaw brothers now. However, T'Challa then enters the scene and recognizes The Klaw Brothers for their repeated attempts to overthrow his father T'Chaka. Jared, with intentions of finishing the royal bloodline himself, tried to kill T'Challa with his sword. However, Nakia shot him before he could do so, leaving an angered Ulysses promising his revenge later on.
Ulysses Klaw later negotiates with Jasper Sitwell and Erik Killmonger. He asks Killmonger to supply him a large portion of Sitwell's HYDRA technology and weapons, as in return, he promised to brutally kill T'Challa. Killmonger agreed, but strictly forbids him to fail on his duty. The Klaw then enters his suit and goes to terrorize the city of Marrakesh with his armed goons. He and his enforcers threaten the mayor Ahmed Rebinni and kill him, thus causing his wife to flee. However, Nakia then distracts him as The Black Panther comes from behind and kills off his goons. The Panther then jumps to the rooftop, and The Klaw jumps after him as the two then start fighting until the other dies. The Panther eventually throws The Klaw off the roof, and as The Klaw wakes up, looking for another fight, Nakia throws a spear and kills him.
Black Panther: Sweet Home[]
Ulysses Klaw was driven by revenge and hunger for power. Above all, his current desires were to rule Wakanda and finish what he and Erik have started. He released Erik from jail, but he secretly did so only to use him for his own plans and backstab him later.
He killed Warden Hammed and the two escaped successfully, before they've returned to Wakanda and killed some guards there.
Ulysses and Erik have planned on killing T'Challa as an act of revenge. However, since Erik has felt conflict and remorse for his actions, and he also wanted at first to save Wakanda by driving out the people so they won't turn into Tetu's cursed men, he warned T'Challa that The Klaw is coming to kill them. However, soon enough, Ulysses managed to topple and almost kill T'Challa with his light sword.
Erik however demanded him to stop, as he realized that Tetu has already cursed the lands. Erik and Ulysses then temporarily team up with T'Challa and Nakia as they travel to lift the curse and save the people after they were burnt alive by Tetu, who revived them as his slave zombies.
They then found a house and T'Challa decided that they stay in it for the night. However, T'Challa and Erik had an argument which almost resulted in Erik killing him, but Nakia solved it between them.
While they were staying at the house, Ulysses tried to secretly backstab Erik with his sword, while Erik wasn't noticing. However, Erik noticed him eventually and asked him what he's doing in his room. Ulysses pretends to care about him, and Erik promises Ulysses out of genuine care and friendship that once they finish lifting the curse, Erik shall give him an equal position as the ruler of Wakanda as they shall usurp it from T'Challa once again.
Klaw out of manipulation told him to rest as the work shall "pay" them. Later, Erik was attacked by cursed Wakandian "pure people". Ulysses pretended to come and help, but when he reached for Erik, who trusted him very much, Klaw stabbed him with his sword and betrayed him, letting the zombie finish him off.
As Nakia and T'Challa have arrived, Ulysses lies to them that the zombies were responsible for his death. They run out, but Tetu then confronts them, and unmasks himself. Tetu is revealed to be Zen Zee; a former Wakandian sorcerer who worked for the Egyptian gods and learnt dark magic, so T'Challa's father has banished Zen from Wakanda and Zen wanted revenge.
T'Challa was seemingly killed by Zen's dark magic. However, before he could actually kill Nakia and Ulysses, The Black Panther lunged onto Zen and fought agains him. While they've fought one another, Ulysses and Nakia have went find the crystal. Ulysses tells Nakia to wait in the cave while he finds the crystal. However, she is attacked by pure people. Zen also tries to finish T'Challa's life. However, before anything bad happens, Ulysses touches the crystal and lifts the curse. The zombies are turned humans again, and Zen dissolves to dust.
Ulysses however keeps the crystal and threatens Wakandia that they must be his slaves willingly or else he shall wipe everyone out of the universe.
The Panther however fights him one last time, and while he thinks he gained the upper hand and doesn't notice, The Panther steals his crystal, and uses it's magic to eliminate The Klaw for good.
Personality[]
The Klaw is shown to be extremely ruthless and ultimately vengeful, as he has dedicated his entire life to kill others, and especially T'Challa after he killed his own brother.
He seems to enjoy hurting others and looting their money as he kills lots of people in very sadistic, brutal and destructive ways. However, despite his ruthlessness, The Klaw did care about his brother to an extent, as they did good work together. He saw his brother as a partner and dedicated his entire life just to avenge his death.
However, he does have lots of ambition in the second film, and he pays the price.
