The Lurker (The Dark Mythos)

The Lurker (also known as The Rake and the beast Bethlehem) is a recurring antagonist in The Dark Mythos. It is a large, hunched, pale creature that crawls on all fours, and had long claws, and dirty, disgusting skin. It also appears to have extreme intelligence.

History[]

The Lurker's history is completely unknown. Some thing he's an ancient God like The Großmann and Zorthak, or a simple paranormal entity like the Chupacabra and others. What is confirmed is that it has lived for a long time, and seems to have formed an partnership with The All-Seeing and The Cult Leader, allowing The Lurker to kill people The All-Seeing wants gone.

The Lurker has always existed. it will never Not exist. it is the universe's mockery of angels, it is the universe's mockery of death, it is the universe's mockery of an afterlife. if you are chosen and taken by The Lurker, you are gone forever. you are Dead, period, end of paragraph. you do not get an afterlife. your soul, and consciousness, is consumed entirely. it is highly intelligent and tends to feed on the pain he causes, sticking around the areas he's taken people from to feed on the grief

He first appeared in Weird Noises and Never-ending, where it is shown to be stalking Kaleb. Later it is shown that The Lurker killed Kaleb's mother, Sister, and his best friend Kevin. It is also implied that is rests in Kaleb's house without being spotted. It is also shown to be stalking more people such as David from Resist The Past, a series all about The Lurker.

The Lurker seems to not have as much powers as The Großmann, Zorthak etc, but it does have two powers that we know of. Those are:
